Lake Side Cottage with Two Bed Rooms on Private Pond at Country Charm B&B

Beautiful and fully furnished house. This accommodation is located about 5 miles north of Interstate 10, just north of Breaux Bridge. The rental has a full living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, jacuzzi bath tub, and front porch over looking a private pond. The kitchen is equipped with full size refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer for extended stays. Next door to the house is a outdoor pavilion for barbecuing, watching TV, or enjoying the outdoors. The pond allows you to take a boat ride or fish.
*1 Night Stays are normally accepted during the week, please contact us to inquire.
*Breakfast is not included when renting through VRBO.

Very Relaxing

When you pass through the gate at the property entrance you should feel your stress leave your body and your blood pressure lowering.The property is filled with big, old live oak trees that have limbs near or touching the ground. When you enter the cottage you enter a relaxing, calming comfortable area. The cottage has everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The area around the cottage invites you to get a cup of coffee and sit outside The owner is very helpful and responds quickly.

Beautiful atmosphere and a perfect little hideaway

We enjoyed ourselves so much! The host ( Eric ), and his family welcomed us like family..It was so beautiful. Many things to do on property. We enjoyed fishing and had a cookout with friends. The out door pavilion and kitchen was so helpful with our cookout. Would recommend to anyone..

Perfect Thanksgiving

My son lives only 5 minutes away so it was a perfect. Our family enjoyed the outside space the very best. This property comes with a shared outside kitchen, which we ended up having to ourselves. It was an absolutely wonderful day.

Relaxing and Charming

We loved our stay here! The cabin is so homey and comfortable. We loved hanging out by the lake and using the outdoor kitchen. Eric was communicative and helpful. The property is beautiful and welcoming. Amazing place!

Perfect weekend stay

This cute little cottage is a quiet oasis. The owner was great. We used the outdoor kitchen our last night, and it was as well stocked as the house. Will definitely go back.

New Years weekend trip to Breaux Bridge, LA

Eric and his family were great host for the weekend. This is the first time we've stayed at this property and it defiantly won't be the last. The photos listed are a true representation of the property. We were all impressed the minute we pulled into the drive. The outdoor kitchen and firepit were a major plus. With a cart and axe provided by the owner we were able to find all the firewood needed for our 3-night stay. Quaint country charm with everything you need for a get away. We will be back!

Great location, great host

If you're looking for a beautiful, restive lodging convenient to Breaux Bridge and Lafayette this is hard to top. Eric is the consummate onsite host and you'll love the comfortable lodgings.

So peaceful and relaxing. Even the rain didn't hamper our stay (just the mosquitos)

This property is absolutely beautiful. The oversize oak trees and surroundings are amazing and you can just feel the history.

Cajun Getaway

The cabin is cute, comfortable and well furnished. All cooking needs were provided. Eric went above and beyond and got some fresh eggs for us from a neighbor. We enjoyed the pond with ducks and turtles. It was also fun to see the family’s new puppy. The owner and his family are very nice and friendly. Having the owner live right next door ensures easy communication. There are quite a few vacation rentals around the pond so be aware it is not a secluded location.

Workcation

They property is awesome. It’s tucked back on a dead end street. We stayed in the 2 room cottage. Comfortable beds and shower had great water pressure. What I liked the most was the outside kitchen with 2 grills and another bathroom. The owners are great and will take good care of you! I can’t wait to get another job in that area of Louisiana, so I can revisit!!!

Beautiful location

My family was able to fully enjoy this beautiful retreat, while I was working a hurricane response. The little time I had there, including visiting with the host, was fantastic. Thanks Eric!

Rougarou adventures!

What a great little hideaway amongst oaks that sprawl out like dinosaurs. Take a step back in time and listen to the wind tell you tales of Loyisuana at its finest as it blows through those beautiful oak trees with the Spanish moss hair. We even had an experience with the legendary rougarou. We had such a great weekend and Eric and his family made us feel like we were part of their family. The kids LOVED the tire swing! We loved paddling around in the lake. The outdoor kitchen and patio area was awesome. This will be a regular spot for us when we need a little getaway to unwind down the bayou. Also, there are GREAT restaurants in the area. Prehistoric park nearby has lots for the kids to do. Close proximity to Lafayette and Baton Rouge. The PERFECT find. Just wish I could've caught more fish. :)
