It was the perfect location to everything we wanted to do. It was gorgeous and the creek behind the house was amazing and the sound of it when the windows were open was so peaceful.

We loved the place. Only complaint is there were trees being taken down for 2 1/2 days of our stay, of which we’re not told anything about. Tho a very pleasant group of young men the tree guys were, it would have been nice to have gotten a heads up before arrival. Found that quite disappointing. But again, we loved the house & propery.

The waterfalls at the back of the property were the highlight- beautiful sight and sound. The kids loved wading around and looking at the critters that lived there. This house is super convenient to restaurants, attractions, grocery stores etc. Our only issue was that while the property was clean as far as dirt and grime, there were many of those thin, long-legged spiders indoors - along with their webs under cabinets and in closets. Also, the first night when we went to close the upstairs curtains we initially found a congregation of stink bugs. Upon further searching, we found 75ish stink bugs in the curtain folds and behind the curtain. We got them all out and didn't have an issue after that. It may have been a byproduct of the time of the year and the water behind the property. Not a big deal once handled. We'd stay again - our dogs enjoyed it too!

Very nice and convenient to Grandfather Mtn. and other resort areas. A few minor problems were resolved by the Foscoe Staff by text message. The sharp knives could be sharpened to avoid slippage and injury. Overall a great shelter and refuge from the moderate thunderstorms over our weekend stay. Hot tub very nice.Road rough with ruts-probably due to previous Hurricane Helene damage.

Place was great, Easy to find and check in. Home was clean. Road needs some work. Not the owners fault. NDefinitely need an SUV or truck. Waterfalls were fabulous. Tree has fallen out back that made it a little hard to see the big waterfall. It’s convenient to banner elk and Boone- so much to see and do! The hot tub was very clean and hot!! So relaxing at the end of a long day! Thank you for sharing your home!

Everything was great, the hot tub was nice and clean and super easy to access. The creek in the back was awesome and my kids played around it every day of our trip, the pictures don’t do it justice

The cabin was clean cozy and perfect for us! We would definitely stay again. We enjoyed the clean hot tub at night and slept soundly with the creak running just outside. I accidentally made the reservation for the following week, but on the afternoon we arrived to town they were able to get the cleaning crew there to get the cabin ready for us at 4:00 after people had rented for the previous week and just checked out! Highly recommend!!

This home is absolutely beautiful! We had very seamless check-in/out experience, enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, and overall cozy vibe on a snowy weekend! Very close drive to Sugar & Beech. Highly recommend a stay here!

Everything was perfect. Was seeking a mountain retreat and this was the perfect spot. Hot tub next to a waterfall, what more could you ask for. Plenty of space and fully equipped kitchen.

Nice cabin with super comfy sofas and beds. Very clean. Great hot tub with water just perfect. Nice porches. The only negative I found was a tree that had fell ( looked to have been there a while) on the deck overlooking the creek. It had not been cleaned up and blocked the view of the waterfalls and was hanging over your head while sitting on that deck.

Good stay, some dishes were still dirty. Hot tub and view to creek were amazing. Bedroom door to outside needs to be replaced. . Overall decent stay!

Comfortable home exactly as advertised!

We loved our stay. Home is well-located and easy to find, also convenient to Banner Elk. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were super comfy! Would definitely stay again.
