Tucked away on scenic Beech Mountain, Round House is a charming and truly unique tridecagon home offering a peaceful mountain escape with personality. Designed for comfort and connection, this pet-friendly retreat is perfect for couples, families, or friends looking to unwind in style.
Step into the open-concept living area, where a skylight and a wall of windows fill the space with natural light, highlighting the cozy furnishings and inviting decor. Gather around the gas log fireplace, watch a movie on the TV, or relax in the warmth of this thoughtfully curated space. The kitchen is fully functional, equipped with stainless steel appliances, and features a handy coffee cart to fuel your mornings. The adjacent dining area seats six for meals, games, or evening chats. With two Queen bedrooms and a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room, Round House comfortably accommodates up to six guests.

Outside, enjoy your private deck complete with a hot tub, gas grill, a fire table with cushioned seating, and a high-top outdoor dining table—perfect for enjoying the crisp mountain air.

We arrived late, and it was quite dark, however, the house had lights on, which made it feel warm and inviting as well as easy to find. Getting in the house was seamless and easy. The house is extremely cozy and we loved the Jacuzzi and fire pit on the porch. Parking was easy as well. we came here for hiking and found so many amazing places close to the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Though we did have a few bumps at the start of our stay. The A/C did not work, we couldn't get in with the code provided and the cleanliness of the entry area made me wonder about the rest of the property, well I can say I would stay here again. Carolina rentals had someone fixing the A/C within minutes of our arrival, via phone they sent us a new code that got us in the door and well, I cleaned the glass doors, the deck area and out door furniture to my liking. The home itself has a great layout . The furniture is comfortable and arranged making the best use of the space. The kitchen had all the tools and gadgets we needed to make our own meals as well as housing the washer and dryer. The cabin sits beneath a canopy of trees so it was wonderful sitting on the deck and though it is located right off the main road in what I would call a subdivision, we barely noticed the road traffic behind us and the road in front of the property was not busy at all considering we stayed over the July 4th holiday. This cabin is centrally located so day trips to the North, South, East and West were easy to plan and if you don't want to cook there are numerous restaurants less than 15 minutes away. All in all a great place to stay when visiting Beech Mountain.

First time we had a rental that welcomed us with lights on. At first I thought it was the wrong place, but lights being on inside helped with navigating keypad and actuall key access box; keypad didnt work - maybe because we arrived later in the evening. Hot tub was on already as well. It was great not having to wait for hours or until next day to relax in it. Loved the resident board games and sweet touch of some dog toys.
