Enjoy this beautiful 3/2 log cabin getaway, nestled among the trees in the Town of Boone, a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive community. The cabin accommodates a MAXIMUM of 6 people and is only 3 miles from the center of App State's campus. Centrally located to all of the High Country area attractions, you have a wonderful, restorative home base from which you can plan all of your adventures or just relax and enjoy the cool mountain air. Everyone is welcome.
Your home away from home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood that has all paved access and is only 1.5 miles to shopping, restaurants, white-water rafting outfitters, antique stores, and other attractions.
Walking up the stairs, you truly feel like you are among the trees. Upon entering the cabin, your eyes will be drawn up by the open living area with expansive cathedral ceilings. For those seeking a home for your family vacation, some quiet downtime or easy access to adventure in the mountains and rivers, you have the perfect tree-house hideaway.
On the covered porch, a hot tub provides full-body relaxation after a day of hiking the area trails, rafting, or shopping. Continue to enjoy the outdoors by grilling out and experiencing al fresco dining on the wrap around deck.
For your comfort, central air and heat are available, along with the gas fireplace for additional warmth and ambiance. However, you'll find the house maintains a breezy cool summer temperature with the windows open and the ceiling fans swirling the tree-shaded mountain air.
When you need connectivity, high-speed internet, Blu-Ray with a 55” TV, streaming channels, and Roku provide multiple media options. The kitchen has a full complement of cookware and utensils for indoor and outdoor cooking. Full bathrooms are on both upper and lower levels, along with comfy seating areas for conversations, board games, or reading. Upstairs the primary suite has a king bed, TV, DVD player, Roku, and seating area along with a full bathroom. The living area has a 55" TV with streaming services and blu-ray player. Downstairs a king bedroom, queen bedroom, and full bathroom are available.

Nice property. Very clean and pet friendly, so it suited our needs well. The hostess was very easy to work with and responded immediately regarding any questions or concerns.Definitely a mountain house, as the road up to the property was very narrow with steps up to get to the front door. However, it does state and the picture shows that it is a mountain house so we were forewarned. It’s in the woods, but was beautiful!

Very cozy and welcoming home. We did not use the fireplace nor the hot tub - but they looked to be in great shape. Perfect location in Boone and overall wonderful stay.

The cabin was great and as advertised. Beds were comfortable. They had stocked everything we needed!

Cute and homey little spot for a quick trip out to see our kid at App State. Perfect respite right in town but felt like being conpletely out of town in a nice little neighborhood.House was clean and welcoming and a perfect spot for us and our pup. Comfy bed, nice deep couch, warm fireplace, and an inviting hot tub made for a great little getaway.

Beautiful log cabin conveniently located. Very dog friendly. All the conveniences of home. Highly recommend!

Great dog-friendly option! Host is very responsive and location is great. Hot tub is a nice amenity.Supplies were low, which host said would be addressed.A couple things to note is there is no laundry facilities available and lighting/furniture setup in living area makes reading, watching tv challenging for more than a couple people.We have stayed twice and will likely stay again!

Very quiet and private bedrooms allowed for a restful sleep. Great porch and close location.

We had a great girls weekend. Old friends and a perfect place to stay. Easy to get to. Beautiful area. Love the large porch and the hot tub. Very clean, with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. We did not bring our pets but it is pet friendly which is great. Just an overall great stay.

This is a great location central to Boone. The house has all needed amenities, comfortable furniture and is spotless. We have stayed yearly and look forward to returning in a few weeks.
