Gorgeous huge home in beautiful setting
Our extended family of 12 (10 adults, two children ages 5 and 6, and a small dog) stayed here for a week. The home was impeccably clean. The house is HUGE - over 6600 square feet! We appreciated that the host family is as geeky as we are over Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. The young adults went crazy over the fancy coffee machine and we loved the double waffle maker. The gigantic spa was used, we played bocce ball, and the ping-pong/pool table saw plenty of use.
There were tons of extra towels and sheets (we took towels to whitewater rafting, and to the incredible splash pad at John Venezia Park, and of course used some for the spa).
Sarah met part of our group at check-in and showed them all we needed to know. She was very responsive throughout our week, and very helpful with suggestions for dining and recreation.
The host family lives in this house, so be aware that closets and dressers are not available for use. The hosts do provide clothes racks in most of the rooms. Also, the pickleball court is gorgeous, but there is an additional charge to use it. My husband instead drove to a nearby park to meet other players and to play for free (also a recommendation from Sarah!)
The area is just beautiful. I loved just seeing the views from all the windows and porches. It was a bit hot while we were there so we didn't spend tons of time outside during the day.
