Nested in a quiet neighborhood, The House Retreat is the ideal place to spend time with friends and family. Only 5 minutes away from the Air Force Academy & highway i25. Close to entertainment/activities, shopping centers, groceries, and restaurants. The cozy and vibrant backyard has a private hot-tub, BBQ Grill, fire-pit with seating area, outdoor dining area, kids playhouse, and outdoor games. The home features elegant rooms such as the formal parlor and the dining room as well as two gas fireplaces in the living rooms. Additionally, the home has a game room with poker table, play room with; darts, kids ping pong table, and more! Directly across the street is an easy walking trail with views of Pikes Peak, a pond, benches and picnic table that is perfect to catch the sunrise/sunset.

I have been using VRBO for several years and this home was by far the best. It was warm and accommodating. An excellent place for families with children. The location was wonderful for shopping and dining. There is a fully stocked kitchen. The back yard was impressive.

Very kid friendly, great location, kitchen had everything,rooms were comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming. Most definitely would recommend and stay there again.

I can’t say enough good things about this property and the host Rosanna. We have stayed in many rental properties and I have to say I have never seen a rental home so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The home was very clean and located in a lovely community. We had one small hiccup in the master bathroom. We notified Rosanna immediately and she sent someone out quickly to resolve it. The home is very spacious. We chose this home so we could kind of be in the middle of all the activities that we wanted to do. We drove daily approximately 45 minutes to an hour and a half in different directions to do and see many things which included Pikes Peak, Manitou Incline, Cripple Creek, Seven Falls, Garden of the Gods, Estes Park and my favorite was the Royal Gorge Park followed by the afternoon Royal Gorge Scenic Train Ride in Canon City which was gorgeous. We would definitely reserve this home again. Thank you Rosanna for sharing your home with us for the week.

This rental was perfect for our family and grandchildren. The house was very clean, nicely decorated and had plenty of room for our group of seven adults and three grandchildren. We especially enjoyed our time in the wonderful backyard with our grandchildren. We would definitely stay here again when in Colorado Springs.

The question for this review is what stood out...everything! Everything was wonderful. Any question we had was promptly answered, the house was impeccable, the Christmas decor was so festive and beautiful and the backyard was amazing. The space was perfect for our family Christmas. I hope we have an opportunity to stay here again.

This is an amazing home! It is beautiful and has all the amenities of home. The owners thought of everything and made us feel welcome right when we walked in. Would definitely stay there again if we have another large group come to Colorado.

Beautiful home, perfect for families!

Great location for our visit to USAFA. The house had everything we needed and more. One of the cleanest VRBO rentals we have stayed in. The attention to detail was appreciated and we look forward to staying there again.

Wonderful!

Second time staying in this beautiful home. Perfect location for USAFA events and great for families. Hosts are very communicative and go out of their way to make sure guests have everything needed for their stay.

Best VRBO Ever!

We rented this property for our son‘s graduation from USAFA. We had several family members with us and this place was so comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. It was close to walking trails and restaurants and USAFA. It was the most well stocked place. we’ve ever stayed at and our guest were very happy.

Wonderful house: clean and property well equipped for family gatherings

House was wonderful for our family gathering, Kitchen was well equipped. Outside and basement allowed for family members to relax and play comfortably, House was stocked with paper products, shampoos and cleaning products unlike any other rental. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation location,

Beautiful Family Home

This home was perfect for our annual family get-together. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio, hanging out in the large, open kitchen and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. Our hosts thought of everything for our three lively kids - the play areas, indoors and outdoors! We were comfortable and happy to be there. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Fabulous Springs House!

This house is absolutely amazing! Fully stocked with everything you will ever need for an amazing stay! The backyard is paradise! The host is also amazing!!! We had personalized gifts on the kitchen countertop with a welcome sign when my friends and I arrived! Love this house!

Amazing Stay

The pictures don’t even do it justice. They had the place beautifully decorated for Christmas with a tree included. We had 10 family members ranging from 2-72 and there was enough space and accommodations for everyone. The host responded so quickly the entire time. I want to come back already!

This property was absolutely gorgeous with so many special touches. We visited at Christmas time so there was a tree and Christmas decorations all throughout the house that made it extra special. The kitchen was equipped with all the tools I needed to cook for my family, including extras like crock pot, hand mixer and waffle maker. There were so many games, movies and other items for entertainment. The piano in the basement was an added bonus, my daughter and her brother-in-law taught themselves how to play piano on it during the week that we stayed. The hostess was so gracious at answering any questions we had, easy access and check-in. I could keep going about how wonderful our stay was, but to keep things short I highly recommend staying at this VRBO home. You won't be sorry!!!!

Beautiful Home!

Thank you very much! The home was beautiful, clean, and very accommodating. We followed the checkout instructions as listed in the book. One item of note, we noticed the exercise trampoline in the backyard had a small rip around the edge (where it attaches to the frame) that I believe my 5 year old nephew made worse. Please let me know if you need anything from us! Thank you again!
