I have stayed at alot of Vrbo and this was by far the best. We had a great stay while in Galveston! The place was so nice, clean, and close to the beach. It had everything we needed, and we felt right at home. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Galveston!

This is a great property on Jamaica Beach! Clean and comfortable for everyone. Loved having separate spaces if needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice property with a short drive to the Jamaca public beach. House was pretty clean and updated. Having to go outside to get to the lower rooms was unexpected but wasn’t bad after getting settled in. Owners were nice and answered all questions quickly and fully.

Pleasant place to stay

Very easy to get it booked and the place was in a very quite serene place to hang with family , off the beaten path of crowds and commercial businesses, but not so far you that you couldn’t do the busy fun things, the beach was great and easy to access, would stay again !

We only stayed one night and the beds were really comfy for us. The only issue I had was that you can’t access the second story of the house from the inside but other than that the stay was great. I would stay here again.

Relaxing, pleasant stay.

Highly recommend this property. Easy access to the beach. There is a coffee shop and restaurants nearby. Galveston is only 20 min away with lots to do. I would stay here again.

Overall a great place.

Comfy beds, nice neighbors, toys and games for the kids. Plenty of room for multiple families or 1 big family.

Home away from home!

Loved this property it was close to the beach and everything we needed!!! We had a great time lots of fun family things to do close by and even at the house. Property was super clean and property owners were very helpful throughout the entire stay and check in process.

Highly Recommend the Curious Canary!

This property was perfect for our weekend stay and had everything we needed. Queen beds in all 3 adult rooms, and the kids bunk room was a nice addition! Short golf cart drive to the beach and nice seating area outside to relax. We look forward to visiting again!

Wonderful Time - Good Location

This property was just as it was stated. We had a wonderful time and the location was perfect. Only a short drive or walk to the beach. Lots of space and plenty of room for the whole family.

Holiday get away

We had a wonderful time. The house was everything we hoped for. The hosts stocked the house with everything we needed, the decir was very pretty, it was spotless and the air conditioner worked perfectly! We drove across the highway and directly onto the beach every day. Lovely. We will definitely stay at this property again!

End of Summer Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the Curious Canary!! Such a cute property!! We loved having everything we needed just like we would at home!! Thanks for having the beach toys, the kids had so much fun!! Very clean, family friendly! Loved having the outdoor shower!! Plus pet friendly!! Such a fun trip!!

Nice vacation

Very clean and plenty of room for 11 people. Everything that you would need is there. The neighborhood is very quit and peaceful. Short walk to the beach. Owners are very nice and ask how everything was, very quick response. My family and I really enjoyed our time there. We will book this one again

Quick overnight trip

The property was exactly las described! The booking and check in was painless. Plenty of room and having 4 bedrooms was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Will definitely be returning later this year with plans to stay longer. We have nothing bad to report and would recommend to our family’s and friends.

Fantastic House

Spacious, clean, and well-stocked. Our children loved the toys and bunk bedroom downstairs. It's short drive from the Galveston Island State Park, where you can either enjoy the beach or check out some nature on the bay side. The neighborhood is close to small restaurants and a nice coffee shop, and is quite walkable. If you would like a place to stay in Jamaica Beach, this should be it.

Overall, the house was well suited for renters. The separate living space downstairs was ideal for our use and the beds and furnishings were in good shape and comfortable. Downstairs was a bit more humid than upstairs but still comfortable. A downstairs fridge (even small dorm sized) would have been nice but not a deal breaker. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would recommend to others given the ample bedroom spaces and kitchen with all the necessities.

Had a fun weekend getaway. House had great ac units. Yard was mowed. Beds were nice and comfy. Refrigerator made lots of ice. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths plus kitchen/den area in the upstairs. Downstairs had 2 bedrooms and a bath and sitting area with tv. Doors were easily locked and unlocked. Had a fun time!! Thanks!! Outside shower was nice and also had a water hose for rinsing sand off.
