The ideal setting on the Deschutes River. Enjoy this funky 70’s mobile home and enjoy all this area has to offer. Tumalo between Bend, Redmond and Sisters. Enjoy The food carts at the Bite , bingo Sundays, skiing at nearby Hoodoo or Mt Bachelor. Fish from your back yard or take a float down the river. There is a river hiking trail that starts in your backyard!

Family Trip to Bend

Had an amazing time bringing my Sisters to bend for the first time. The house fit all our needs and being right next to the river was beautiful!

Wonderful stay

Comfortable and relaxing accommodations. Fantastic riverfront location. The hosts attention to detail shows. Very clean house with all the little extras you could want such as sm appliances, extra linens, and kitchen utensils. We hope to make reservations again next year.

Fun friends get away

We enjoyed being able to just walk down and float the river and to hike along the river trail. It is close to town, so we were able to pick up food easily. We are thinking of making this a yearly get away.

River view excellent

Beautiful river view and access. The home is an older manufactured house - decor is dated but house was extremely clean and comfortable. There is access to a lovely grassy area right on the river. Close to Tumalo. Really enjoyed the stay. Our grandson caught a brown trout.

Thanksgiving week

great location in Tumalo and along the river. Access to trails. Stayed with our dog and it was easy to walk her with trail access out back door.

Cool place by the river

While this is an older home, it is very clean, has a great kitched, nice comfortbale furniture, and an amazing view of the river. We were in Bend for the weekend for a concert, during a "heat" wave. It was absolutely fabulous to be able to sit by the river and feel a cool breeze. Would definitely come stay here again!

Loved it!!!

We had the best time ! Everything we needed was there (well, except a washing machine) BUT- enough cookware, sheets, blankets, etc! Very cozy fireplace!!

Great spot for tubing!

It would have been nice to have a roll of paper towels or napkins on hand in the Kitchen. Appreciated ice being made when we arrived!

Beautiful, peaceful setting!

The property is absolutely beautiful! The river is stunning and it’s so nice to have access to it right at the house. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. Plus our host Bonnie was very accommodating to a couple of equipment requests. I will definitely return!

Perfect river spot

If you like the sound of water right outside your porch, as well as peace and quiet all day, this is the perfect spot. Very comfortable and SUPER clean, this place on the Deschutes River has a lovely walking path we used every morning. It's right between Redmond and Bend, making it easy to get to both places. We also had a fire in the evening right next to the river.

Awesome retro comfort.

Not sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised! Home is very clean, well equipped, and perfectly situated!!! It was like visiting your favorite grandparents for vacation. Retro and cool, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Owner is communicative and responsive.

Location, Location!

What a beautiful and peaceful setting close to the river! Such a great place to take in nature. Unfortunately, our visit was cut short due to a medical emergency so we could not enjoy it as long as we wanted. If you want to get away from noise and bustle, and but be close enough to enjoy Sisters, Tumalo, and Bend this is a perfect central location. :)

South Bend Studio

Studio was clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen fully stocked with essentials and even fresh eggs but no microwave. Washer and dryer worked well to get caught up on vacation laundry.

River house joy

We really loved this property. The location is so perfect, if you enjoy peaceful, incredible views of river, birds, and trees. It's also a great "home base" location if you want to explore all this area has to offer, such as the splendors of Sisters, the John Day Fossil Beds, and Smith Rock State Park. Or, go south and visit Bend, the town of a thousand roundabouts. The house itself is indeed rustic and dated, but it was very clean and comfortable and had all that we needed. The yard goes to the river's edge and there's a fabulous walking trail along the river that begins at the yard and goes for miles. If you're a nature lover/tree hugger like us and aren't looking for fancy digs, you will love this place.

Nice quiet getaway

This is a double-wide trailer permanently located next to the river. The interior is quite nice--I'll admit I was a bit surprised at how comfortable it felt. The gas fireplace in the living room was especially nice. There's a 3-mile trail down the river that starts right outside the back door. We ran into lots of people with dogs (including us) out enjoying the walk. Close enough to Bend for anything you might want or need, far away enough to avoid being disturbed. This is my Goldilocks spot.

Nostalgic and Quaint

This home was perfectly located 5 minutes from our conference! Right on the Deschutes River so we walked out our back door and were immediately on the trail that ran the length from our house for miles. It’s was a beautiful way to connect with God every morning. ♥️ It was super clean and fully stocked. The showers had great pressure and hot water! Everything was very retro which brought us back to younger days in our lives. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to next years conference! Maybe we will bring our hubbies this time! Thank you for sharing your home!
