Use the Bend Bungalow as your home base as you explore and taste all Bend has to offer. We welcome you.

Looking for a special get-away vacation... you just found the right place! The Bend Bungalow is your delightful alternative to staying in a hotel, and for less money! Nestled in the desirable NorthWest neighborhood, this charming vacation rental cottage offers the quintessential Bend experience. You will love staying at the Bend Bungalow. . . fully stocked down to the wine bottle opener!

The bungalow has artistic décor and a clean yet homey feeling. Original hardwood floors, new windows, sustainable bamboo flooring in the kitchen and bonus room, warm and inviting colors all create the perfect place to relax after your busy days. The home is well-maintained and spotlessly cleaned with green products.

Two bedrooms have queen size beds each (one is a Tempurpedic style memory bed great for your back!). The bonus room has a twin day bed. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower. A single-car garage can be accessed from the ally with additional storage (lockable) for your skis or kayaks or bikes. A covered patio offers a perfect BBQ retreat. * *Please note that the garage cannot fit oversized cars/trucks and you will have to park on NW 6th Street where there is plenty of parking. Never block the ally.

Experience the great location of the Bend Bungalow! Whether taking advantage the close proximity to the Deschutes River, Mt. Bachelor or just wanting to explore the shops and restaurants of Bend, this location is close to the slopes (on the mountain in 30 minutes!) or a lovely walk across the river.

Neighborhood gourmet food market 'Newport Market', coffee houses, restaurants, frozen yogurt and shops are within three blocks of home. Old town shops and our family’s favorite, the Deschutes Brewery, is a six minute walk down the street and across the river. Children will love the 'boat park' one block away where there is also a ballpark and the walking bridge to Drake Park.

Don’t bother with driving and parking: Both the 4th of July and Christmas Parades start right in front of the cottage! Enjoy the three-minute walk to the summer time popular 'Munch-n-Music' with free concerts and movies at Drake Park and food from local restaurants.

Great Location in Bend

The home is well situated in a nice walkable neighborhood, had all of the essentials for the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Keys, garage door opener, etc. The fenced yard was a bit grungy and this is an old house with bathroom sink water not flowing enough, water takes a long time to get hot except in the shower. We enjoyed our stay and were not in the house much except for the mornings for coffee & quick breakfast. Nice safe neighborhood near everything. If you are there to enjoy the house itself, you may be disappointed.

Short but sweet!

Two nights and one day in Bend was a magical adventure at the Bend Bungalow.it was the perfect location for hiking the Deschutes River, dining at the Pine Tavern and enjoying a Pops concert at the Tower Thester.

Great location in Bend

We loved the location of this home in Bend. We were walking or short drive to restaurants, breweries, shops, outdoor concert. The bonus room was great to have as well as bedroom for my older kids needing separate rooms.

There were four adults over 70. We were very comfortable in the well located vintage bungalow.

LOCATION!

We were able to walk to the park and food. We took e-bikes to Hayden for the concert. We had a blast. Bed and pillows were comfy. I didn't realize there was a covered patio which was nice and private. I would stay here again.

Walking distance to town

My family stayed here for New Years, and part of why we chose this VRBO was how close-in to downtown Bend it was. We were able to walk a in short distance for a pub crawl (instead of drive or get an Uber), which was super convenient. Communication with the host was quick and clear. There was a garage to park the car in, which was also nice. Good experience. :)

Good location. Cleanliness not so great and tired facilites

Could be a really nice house, very well located for town but very tired inside and cleanliness around cooker/stove and the side of the fridge was very poor. Also electrical problem with the socket for the toaster oven. I also had to lock every window as all were unlocked. Broken blinds in one bedroom. Needs a spruce up and it would be great.

Great house

Great house in a central location. Easy walking distance to downtown Bend and local breweries. Host was quick to respond to any questions I had. Highly recommend staying at this house.

Adorable bungalow

It was really sweet to stay in a vintage cottage on a lovely street. It really brought back memories of our childhood homes and it was refurbished artfully and with vintage items. I highly recommend it!

Content in Bend

This cozy little bungalow (old but quaint and well maintained) was perfect for us. We visited from Reno and Twin Falls, ID for a Bend Senior High School reunion. It was perfect for the three of us oldies. Glad we had use of the garage as we had 2 vehicles for the three of us and one vehicle was a BIG Ram Pick up, so parking in our car in the garage was very convenient. Leslie was a good communicator and even sent me the code early. I will say that the flower shop - Donner - directly across the street was a HUGE rip off. Their ad quoted $45 for a lei, and when I went to pay, she charged me $75.

Great stay for groups or working remotely

We had a great stay here. My partner and I (and two dogs) have been on the road for several months and working remotely in the places we stay. This place was perfect for us. This was one of the most well-stocked kitchens we’ve been in. Our dogs loved the yard. Plenty of spare towels and linens. Hosts were responsive and happy to help if we needed it! Location was ideal and within walking distance of town.

Wonderful stay!

The pictures were spot on and we were not disappointed! Very nice layout and amenities. We went out hiking in the morning and came back to rest and cool off before heading out for the evening. It was so relaxing. Location is central to everything we wanted to do. I will check on availability next time I go to Bend!

Bend floating adventure

Lovely and comfortable property

We had a wonderful stay in this house. It was very comfortable even with a heat wave going on outside! The location was awesome, within walking distance of enough to keep us busy for our whole trip.

We are Oregon residents who love the outdoors, be it the mountains, rivers or coastal areas. We love to travel the world and have fell in love with Bend, which reminds us of time we spent in Taos, New Mexico. The high desert sun, smell of the sage and pine, the Deschutes River, surrounding lakes, and mountains all make Bend a wonderful place to get outdoors. Though we have to admit, the many good restaurants and breweries have us staying close to our home-away-from-home for an easy walk to dinner or a drink with friends.

Our children love being close to the park, Goodie's (ice cream parlor), Cravin's Candy Emporium and a short walk to home after a float down the river.

We hope you will enjoy Bend and the surrounding area as much as we do.
