The place was so comfortable. The old building has so much character. It is in a great location. Very safe and close to amazing areas around St. Louis. The host was good at communicating and accommodating my requests. I would stay there again!

Parking was very good! Minimal walking! Very quiet, residence was on a dead end street.

Great host and great place

Libby was wonderful, very helpful and quick to respond. The location was perfect, just a short distance from where we were working. It was a great trip overall, and we’d love to come back if we have the chance!

Lovely

Lovely stay. Beds are comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise to find both beds in the 2nd bedroom were full/queens since the pictures showed a full/queen and twin.

Friends weekend

This was an excellent stay. We found the property with no issue; we had a small mix up with the door code and it was fixed very quickly! Great stay and would Highly recommend!

Great location near Forest Park & Metro!

My husband and I spent a week here, very comfortably. The apartment is in a 100+ year old building - not glitzy but well cared for. The kitchen was completely furnished (no dishwasher) with pans & utensils, we had plenty of great quality towels and sufficient paper products, all the furniture was comfortable for sitting & sleeping, the A/C was so appreciated during our hot week as was the floor fan. Off street parking was also great. Our host was easy to reach and replied quickly. We liked being 2-3 blocks from the Metro, especially for Cardinal game transport. We did not use the Loop Trolley but it is also right there. Having Forest Park so close offers many things to do nearby. If you drive anywhere, you’re close to main routes. Be sure to note - this apartment is on the 3rd floor requiring 36 steps every time one leaves or returns! Not for everyone. Also, there’s a free laundry is available in the basement. Very happy with our experience here.

Spacious, quiet, close to park and Wash U

Feels like staying in an actual home and for less than 2 rooms in a decent hotel (which for our family of 4 was the only other option.) Appreciated the gated parking and prompt response from the property manager about a very tiny issue. Could use a bit more of a cleaning on door frames, but overall very clean and comfortable! Would recommend.

Lovely place

We loved our time at Suites in the Lou. We happened to visit in a heat warning, but the hosts were quick to respond and bring extra AC units! There was also a severe storm and this building is so solid we didn't even HEAR it! Perfect spot to meet with a friend! Communication was great. We had all we needed! Very kid friendly, but just need to keep neighbors below in mind!

Classic STL apartment

Worked great for our family trip down memory lane visiting our old haunts in St. Louis. Reminded me of the apartment buildings I lived in, with original hardwood floors, plaster walls, and all. Very convenient location to the Metro and Forest Park. The only drawbacks were the heat (top floor and probably some of the hottest days of the summer meant the A/C couldn't keep up) and the basement laundry. Housekeeping uses it from 10-3, but even then there were no washers/dryers open.

Great stay in the Lou!

We really enjoyed our stay in this 100+ year old walk-up. The unit is on the top floor in the back, one of six units, but we were never bothered by other residents. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. The unit was as pictured. We appreciated the clear instructions for check-up and departure. The windows had screens and worked well (good for the shoulder season between hot and cold temps). We appreciated the host leaving a few days worth of coffee, paper goods and dish washing supplies in addition to linens and towels. The WiFi was strong enough 98% of the time. Overall, a great stay.

The place was OK. The kitchen was annoying with the broken tiles, the faulty light, and the leaning stove. Not easy to work in.

Great location for our first time in St Louis

The apartment is in a cute neighborhood. Libby was always available if needed. Parking in a gated parking lot was a big plus to why we chose this property. Really enjoyed our stay in St Louis.

Nice sweet for a family stay!

We had a girls trip at this location and loved it! The location is close to so much and we felt safe. We had everything we needed. Libby was very quick to respond with questions!

Nice place

We had everything we needed. There were some extras in the kitchen that were helpful: coffee, cream, sugar packets, spices. Beds were very comfortable. Love having three beds in one room for our 3 kids. Floors were very creaky in hallway. Furnace was loud when it kicked on.

Spring Break

We really enjoyed our stay here. We could have used enough coffee to make some each morning of our stay, but I also didn’t ask for more, so that’s partially on me. The parking situation was a tad frustrating but that wasn’t Libby’s fault. She communicated all she could with us. The location is great. No more than 15 minutes from tourist spots! Perfect for a little getaway ☺️
