Lovely secluded property in wooded setting, walking distance to beach. We enjoyed the heated pool every day. The fire pit was great for after dinner s'mores. Host checked in with us right away. We had a multigenerational family group of 10. There was plenty of seating and very few stairs. Everyone had a great time.

Lovely winter getaway! The house is fully equipped with anything you’d need. It is comfortable, clean, and cozy— full of special, personal touches. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Great family experience

Small kitchen for cooking for 10 but otherwise a great setup. Kids really enjoyed the pool and fire pit!

Moms Weekend Away

Our group had a wonderful stay! This was the perfect spot to getaway for a few days. We were able to walk to the beach and it’s a short drive to downtown South Haven. I would absolutely stay here again. Kate was easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had quickly.

Roomy and Bright

Great house for get togethers. There were 10 of us staying on the property. We loved it and the pool. We took advantage of being so close to the beach too! Would stay here again.

The Best Stay Ever!

The location, the layout of the house and property were absolutely perfect for my vacation. It hit all the marks and has all the amenities of a relaxed, peaceful visit. The beach is walking distance, the property is completely private and surrounded by woods and even on rainy days inside you still feel like your right in nature. Frank Lloyd Wright vibes. Kati was a great to have as a host and I'll definitely be back soon for another stay.

Host had everything ready beginning with an online welcome packet, linens and towels with easy access, extra throw blankets in the living room. Plenty of chairs so our family could enjoy family meals at one table. Kitchen was well organized. Enough dishes, cutlery, equipment, etc. so easy to prepare meals and clean up after. We were able to walk in, unpack, sit back and relax. Looking out the windows at the snowy woods, playing games, etc. a truly relaxing weekend for us. We would definitely return.Host, Kati was responsive and kind.

Friends Getaway

We had an amazing time! The home was beautiful, unique and had plenty of space for our group! Kate was extremely helpful and we would recommend her home to anyone! We are already talking about a trip back to enjoy the house during the warmer months!

Very clean and close to everything!

This house is huge and has plenty of room to spread out. It was very clean. Awesome and quick communication with owner. We came for rockhounding and had 3 beaches extremely close by to do just that! Quiet location with only a few locals (raccoons, foxes, owls, hawks etc) nearby. Book it now!

Windows for Days!

What a amazing property. Very quiet and private location. Amazing natural light. Master suite is huuuuge and the coffee bar in the bedroom was a nice surprise. Having satellite tv available was also a nice touch to unwind before bed. So close to everything.

Peace and quiet

We had such a wonderful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend ! The condition of the home was wonderful , appealing and flawless in design ! The privacy and accommodations were first class ! South Haven

Dont be deceived, this house is amazing! Lots of room, peace and quiet, and very updated. We enjoyed coming and going as we wanted. Then enjoyed a nice evening with the family and fireplace. We had visits from deer too! The beach is very close and so are the surrounding cties and towns. It wasvery easy to communicate with the property manager and she was very helpful and informative.

Everything was so amazing! The real thing was even better than the pictures. Everything was exactly as they said it would be and there were no surprises. Only thing to keep in mind, if you plan on spot cleaning a bit between days while staying, make sure you bring a couple supplies! They had some general things like Clorox wipes, degreaser, and mildew remover and only a small amount of dish soap. The water is a bit hard and some rust was present but nothing we couldn’t deal with. During our stay the hosts came and took the trash to the curb for pickup themselves and took care of some snow removal! Overall we would love to stay here again and would totally recommend it to anyone!

I was blown away by the cleanliness, layout, and decor! When I say this place had EVERYTHING, that is an understatement! From kitchen needs, (spices, cookware, utensils, appliances, etc.), to laundry detergent. You name it! Every need you can think of to the tiniest detail! You can literally visit there with just the clothes on your back and have EVERYTHING you need! (Except meals). We decided to spend Thanksgiving somewhere different and this was the best idea ever! The host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. If I could gove 10 stars, I would!!!!!! My family and I had a FANTASTIC time! We will definitely be back!

Pictures need up dated on the site. Landscaping needs attention. Floors were dirty everyone’s white socks got dirty from the floors. We did appreciate all the kitchen utensils and pots and pans. Swinging shower door in bathroom needs attention leaks and makes a terrible noise. We enjoyed the swimming pool. And was .5 mile to the beach very nice walk.

Best of Both Worlds!

This home is located on a peaceful, heavily wooded, secluded setting. However, it is still very close to every other attraction you’ll want to visit while in South Haven. We were provided with everything we needed for the home to feel like OUR home for the week. The decor is open and spacious, yet feels cozy and inviting. This was our first rental on Vrbo and we are excited to say we don’t even have to look any further for another hostess. We’ll be right back here next time we come back to Michigan! And we can’t wait for the pool to be ready in the future! Thank you.

Wonderful Retreat

My family was looking for a nice getaway for Labor Day weekend. We have two wheelchair bound family members, so our options were limited. I found Hideaway Haven and was excited by all of its amenities. It was very accessible, the only issue was a small 6" step into the front door which we had discussed in advance. There were multiple sitting areas inside and out for all family members to find their own space. We love the huge outdoor dining table. The fireplace out back was perfect in the evening. The hostess has thought of so many small amenities that I haven't seen at other VRBO's, and these really made the experience all the better. Would definitely recommend.

Lives up to the listing and then some!

The house and location are great! The house has everything you need, and it won me over when I saw there were three different types of coffee makers in different areas of the house. It is so cozy and the bed in the master was very comfortable. The high windows above the bed made it so that you can see the stars on a clear night. The location is secluded but a close walk to the beach (which is beautiful) and a short drive to downtown. So you get the best of both worlds. The internet is a little slow if you are working, but there is a great shared workspace downtown called ThinkBar (highly recommend). This house certainly felt like a home away from home and we would definitely go back. The host is super helpful and responsive. Overall, best VRBO experience!
