Great Condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great condo! It was super cozy (loved the furniture), had a bathroom for each room, and although we didn't have any problems, the hosts did ask how our stay was going. It's a lower floor, which we love, and the views were gorgeous. Great location, loved the condo, we would go back!

The condo was great and marched the description. My only complaints were that the key was in a key case in the stairwell, but there were at least 4 key cases in the stairwell and it could have been more clearly marked which one was for our condo. The only other was that there must have been 8 plug ins throughout the condo. The fragrance was a little overwhelming and we had to unplug most of them to make it bearable.

Roaches

We didn't stay at the condo due to roaches. The rental company refused to provide a different condo and would not give me a refund!

We did not have another condo available and we contacted an exterminator. There were no complaints of roaches from the previous guest and you did receive your money back.

Gulf Shores 2o24 Ocean House Condo

Nice condo on the beach and close to everything we wanted to do. Beds were comfortable. Management company switched out the lockbox and left the old one empty. It took a while and a phone call to get it squared away so we could get in. They need to remove the old lock box that is numbered for the property. The ad said we had a key to the locker to store our beach stuff. The key did not fit any door and we tried every door in the building that didn't have a condo number on it including the balcony. The management company just said oh well guess if it doesn't fit it doesn't fit! Didn't ruin our stay but don't advertise this feature if it isn't available.

We stayed in this unit the week before the 4th of July and were extremely pleased with our stay! After 10 years of beach vacations, this had to be the shortest and easiest walk to the beach we've ever had. We also loved having two balconies to relax on throughout the day.Inside the condo, my family especially appreciated the three recliners (a huge bonus for us!), and the plug-in air fresheners made the unit smell so welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our children absolutely loved the zero-entry pool and spent a lot of time there.The only issue we had with the unit itself was the ice maker. It didn't produce enough ice for our family, making only enough for about three drinks a day.Our only other complaints were about the property rather than the condo. The building could really benefit from a second elevator, as the single elevator was very slow, especially during busy times. Also, if you drive a large vehicle like we do (a 2500 diesel pickup and a Suburban), be prepared for very tight parking spaces.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The location, beach access, and family-friendly amenities made for a great vacation!
