Ocean House 2606 2 bedroom 3 bath gulf-front

Ocean House #2606 is a west corner gulf-front 2 bedroom 3 bath condominium located on the 6th floor in building II overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1300 sq ft with views of the gulf from the over-sized living area. The condo has a fully equipped custom designed kitchen with all black stainless steel Samsung high-end appliances all set in granite counter-tops. There are 3 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or stand-alone shower. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom with custom tiled walk-in shower with built in seat. The middle bedroom has an attached bathroom with stand-up shower. The 3rd bathroom is accessed via the living/hall area and has a bathtub/shower combination.

Ocean House I and II are 9 story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Ocean House has a large seasonal zero-entry outdoor and small kiddie pool. The property also has a grilling area that services both buildings I and II. Minimum age required: 23 Sleeps 6.

Parking passes are purchased on-site at Ocean House at guard house or office located in building I - CASH ONLY. There is a maximum of 2 parking passes per unit and cost is set by the association and is subject to change at any time without notice.

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Great condo

Clean, roomy and perfect location. The pool was clean and big and beach access was awesome. Just wish there was a hot tub on the property!

Girls Trip

This condo was very spacious. The pictures did not do it justice. Everything about it was good. The location was great, as well as very close to tons of good restaurants. They walk from our elevator to the pool and to the beach was extremely short compared to other places I’ve stayed. We will definitely keep this on our list to come back to.

Outside of this we had a great time and were please with the unit.

Great quarantine getaway!

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location and accommodations are exactly what we needed to achieve our objective - to socially distance in a family-friendly location with a great view! The building was pretty full but there was plenty of space at the pool, very little waiting at the elevators, and truly was just a great place to vacation with kiddos. Appliances were updated and having 3 bathrooms was a great plus! Close proximity to restaurants and stores, though we cooked almost every meal in the well-equipped kitchen. Would recommend for families and we'd definitely visit again.

There was plenty of living space and places to relax. We loved that there was a balcony on both sides. It was great to sit outside and relax while watching the ocean or sitting and soaking up the sun while people watching on the street side. We loved having the option to sit on the beach or lay by the pool.

My only complaint was that my grandson said a lady walked into the condo for a moment we were out on the balcony. she was gone by the time we got into the condo. Not sure who or why little scary!! And also the elevator thee at the ocean house is not reliable.wont ever use it again. i have seen it stuck many times. We had to carry all of our bags down from the 6th floor on last day.other than those two events the vacation was great as always.

Ocean House 2606

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1. The pool was unavailable due to maintenance for our entire trip. I was not informed about that when I booked the unit. 2. The parking passes were not included and I had to purchase them from the on site security guard. After spending $1200 to stay somewhere the passes to park at that property should be included. 3. The trash can in the condos kitchen smelled disgusting and we had to put it out on the balcony to keep the condo from smelling sour. 4. The floors in the condo were filthy. They needed to be mopped. If you walked bare foot in the condo your feet would be black on the bottoms from all of the dirt on the floor.

Very clean

Upon entering the unit as we walked from room to room not only were we impressed with the amount of space in each room we were equally impressed with the cleanliness of the entire condo. Spotless. Everything worked. Master bed mattress was a dream to sleep on. We had no issues with this unit. Will definitely stay here again.

Family Trip to the Beach

Everything was perfect

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ll start off by saying we had a mishap with the breaker box which resulted in the air conditioner not working. I called the office and within minutes maintenance was out to fix it. Everyone was kind, courteous and above and beyond what they had to be. Besides that incident, everything was perfect. Taking the kids (7,3 & 10mo) was a bit daunting but having the space for them to play and look out on the balcony was just perfect. I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say about our stay and this rental. Will keep this place in mind for future vacations.

We loved how the balcony overlooked the ocean and we could eat our meals from the balcony while watching dolphins swim in the waves. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and furnished. We made use of the cleaning materials as we brought sand in from the beach. The space was perfect for our family!
