THE PROPERTY: Location, location, location, is what this chic condominium is all about! From here you can walk 1 block to the many attractions of Duval Street, including restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. Or you can bike or drive about one mile to Higgs Beach and relax in the sunshine. This quiet residential oasis is in the middle of everything Key West. Vacationing in this gated community, surrounded by lush foliage, will give you a taste of what it might be like to live here.

Begin your stay with coffee or tea on your shared, covered front porch. Take a dip in the community's cocktail pool or have lunch in the garden patio area before heading out to sight-see. The home’s first floor includes a living room, TV, ceiling fan, powder room, dining area and kitchen, where you can prepare a quick meal or snack. This bright and sunny area was completely refurbished with gorgeous furniture, a brand-new kitchen with white cabinets, counters, and stainless steel appliances.

The redesigned, stylish bedroom with nightstands, bedside lamps, and updated ensuite bath with walk-in shower are located on the second floor. The spacious King bed, dreamy linens, and ceiling fan make for easy sleeping. Hardwood, tile floors and bedroom area rug help keep this home clean and comfortable. A shared, coin-operated washer and dryer are located on the grounds of the property. If you are ready to explore Duval Street, walk to dinner at a fabulous restaurant and relax in the privacy of your gated condominium, then La Maisonnette is the vacation spot for you!

BED CONFIGURATION: The second-floor bedroom has a King bed, TV, ceiling fan and ensuite bath with glass walk-in shower. There is a queen size sleeper sofa on the first floor.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Shared cocktail pool with water feature. The pool is heated seasonally (November through April). Several outdoor dining areas, lush gardens and a shared grill are available for your enjoyment.

PARKING: No designated parking. On-street parking in the neighborhood may be available.

LOCATION: Old Town, 1 block from Duval Street and just off Truman Avenue. You can easily walk to many restaurants, bars, and shops from La Maisonnette. The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum is also nearby.

PETS: One (1) dog allowed, up to 25 lbs, for an additional fee and completion of Pet Information addendum. Must be 1 year of age or older. Must be spayed/neutered. All vaccinations must be up to date. Please be advised some breeds are not permitted. Sorry, cats are not allowed.

SMOKING: This is a non-smoking home and property.

Hop and a Skip Away from Duval

Overall pleased, but the pool smaller than it appears in the pictures and other quests were smoking pot outside so we had to take that in.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first trip to Key West. Our home away from home was perfect! Beatiful space and very clean. It had everything we needed. The location was a block away from Duval St. and tucked away in a peaceful oasis away from any noise. We loved cooking and relaxing in this space as much as walking to all the action on Duval. Watching the tropical storm from the front porch rocking chairs was a treat. The courtyard and the pool were great. The property managers were lovely. Really nice couple and they were prompt to respond to any requests. Shared with me some cool history about artists in Key West and some of the galleries worth visiting. We would definitely stay here again!

Little oasis

This was the best accommodations. Immaculate and updated. Had everything that we needed. The small pool was a great touch when you wanted to relax in a quiet setting. The management company was very easy to work with and helpful. Well appointed to Duval street- all the action and to golf cart rentals (which I highly recommend). We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to key west!

10th Anniversary

This is a very beautiful property it is exactly as pictured. The living room and kitchen area being open for conversation, the furnishings so beautiful and comfortable. Having the two bathrooms is a bonus. The location was spectacular and just with scooter rental steps away and the Cuban coffee shop on the other corner we highly recommend. It couldn’t have been a better weeks stay. Love, love , love this property

AMAZING Service!

This was not my first VRBO booking, but it stands out as the best service to date! Can not say enough good things about the management company and their communications & help through the whole process. The property was BEAUTIFUL! We really relaxed and easily walked to everything in the Keys. Thank-you for the dinner recommendations. Lovely spot for our anniversary dinner!

A gem! Location, charm, spacious

Fantastic central location 1.5 blocks from Duval. Historic Key West Vacation Rentals helped with loads of recommendations before our arrival and were extremely accomodating letting us store our luggage and use their office between check-out and a late flight. The entire experience was outstanding - smooth and easy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Historic KW Vacation Rentals was EXCELLENT. They ensured EVERY need we had was accommodated and first class professional service. They made sure we were satisfied with all the little items that weren't handled as they should but worked with us in everyway to make it easier. Only major bad part is no parking where we had to pay about $300 in Uber costs, but they did advertise no parking so not their fault.

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The inside of the space was lovely and comfortable, and had everything we needed. I really liked that the aesthetic of the space had an ocean and beach vibe without being overly gaudy or using lots of bright colors. It was tastefully done. The space is perfect for just two or three people. The outside area was very beautiful and relaxing. There are multiple duplex condos around a central courtyard , so there are other people there, but it was still quiet for the most part, considering that. Customer service with the rental agency was excellent and top-notch. We would return here again!

Beautiful Place & Managers were AMAZING!

The property was beautiful. The courtyard had amazing plants, bamboo trees, tons of birds and a really laid back feel. Our place was great inside and perfect for us. The biggest plus was that the rental company was so easy to work with starting at the booking process until we left the island. Our place was ready when we arrived around 1:30 p.m. but if it had not been we were able to store our bags with them for no fee. On our last day, we took our bags there and went out for a few hours. We were able to come back, change in the bathroom and be on our way. They were very hospitable and nice. We will definitely stay in this place again and also will be looking into other properties managed by them for when more of our family comes with us.

Gorgeous oasis stay!

The Maisonnette was lovely. It felt very modern, clean and maybe newly renovated. It was very clean, the kitchen was large and very well appointed with anything you'd need including a few little extras like dishwashing and laundry detergent pods. We took a short walk to Fausto's grocery for a few things which was convenient.We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the grounds and garden areas. The garden courtyard was meticulously maintained. There were a few little nooks to sit outside and enjoy the warm breeze.I was surprised at how small the little pool was. By the pictures online I was expecting a full size pool. Nonetheless it was quaint and beautiful, just like an oasis. We had it to ourselves one day otherwise it might quickly feel crowded with only a few chairs. HKWVR was so friendly when we arrived at the office and were easy to communicate with during the stay! They scheduled bikes to be delivered(for a small fee) and picked up again when we left. Very good company to deal with and I highly recommend them based on our experience. We had no trouble with the rental, neighbors or experience at all. It was all just an easy, relaxing vacation. I would not hesitate to use them again! The neighborhood is on the south side of Duval closer to Southernmost Point, so it's a little walk/ride to Mallory Square on the other end. I recommend Blue Heaven & Little Pearl restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this location for a couple wanting a quiet getaway.

Perfect location in Key West

Had a great 4 night stay. The place is clean and crisp from the moment you walk in. Plenty of extra towels and TP. The location is a half block off Duval which is perfect but just far enough out of the traffic. Suggest renting bikes. The host can recommend a great company. Communication was excellent during the entire process.

The condo was well appointed, close to all major attractions and nestled on a side-street away from major traffic. The communication prior to arrival was likely the best part!
