The Coach House

Surround yourself with a coastal vibe in this fully-remodeled 3 bed, 1 bath house on a property offering stunning Lake Erie views, breezes, and sunsets! Enjoy your morning coffee from the spacious front porch or secluded back porch or from inside with views of the light house breakwall . Take a stroll to the beach or over to downtown Broadway, and be sure to check out everything Lorain has to offer while you're here. Pets are OK with additional fees and pre-approval. Welcome aboard!

This house has been fully renovated from top to bottom. The kitchen sports new stainless steel appliances and has everything needed for a night of dining-in. The house offers two porches with views of the lake or complete privacy. The first floor has open living and dining areas with a TV and a cozy electric fireplace. The upstairs den offers another sitting area and TV, complete with board games, a bookshelf, and a twin-sized bed. Take your pick from the other two bedrooms from a bright and open room with a king-sized bed, Papasan chair, and large closet, or another cozy, napping room with a full-sized bed and closet. The upstairs bathroom has a beautiful bright new tile job, a linen closet full of things you may have forgotten, and a bath to soak in if you want to relax after a day of adventure. A propane grill is off the back porch for grilling out and a washer and dryer are available to use in the basement.

Owners are very responsible responsive generous. The property was very clean and accommodating. We really appreciate having breakfast foods readily available after a long travel to reach our destination. You won’t regret booking.

We’ve had the pleasure of staying here twice for softball tournaments this season. Brooke and Patrick were amazing hosts! The property is clean, well located, and the perfect size for a family stay.They were so sweet and generous to our puppy. He fell in love with a blanket they had at the property and they sent it home with him. They also went above and beyond in providing everything you need for your stay, including fridge and fruit basics (eggs, fruit, milk, pastries). We will stay here as often as possible when we’re in the area.

Quiet area, 5 min walk to park/beach

The house was clean and the area was quiet. We enjoyed our time in the area. Being close to the park/beach was not the focus of our trip, but a great bonus!

Wonderful hosts!

We booked last minute due to a death in the family and Patrick & Brooke were so accommodating! The house was clean and in a great location. Communication was great as well! Will stay again when we visit family in Ohio!

The coach house did not appear to be visited or maintained in some time. There were many spiders on the premises, though I believe the area may be an ideal place for them. We had to leave after one night because we believed there were mice living in the house - we found droppings and heard noises. There was also an abandoned robin's nest on the front porch. Finally, the host could have been a bit more responsive when we were asking about an air purifier and can opener.Two stars because the host worked with us quickly the day after we left to work out a refund for remaining days, which was appreciated.

Adorable coach house!

One of the cleanest, most comfortable rentals we’ve stayed in. My boys loved their board games! We appreciated a very clean bathroom and the short walk to the lake. My husband is from Lorain and this was such a great way to visit his hometown.

First Class VRBO!

The Coach House is a wonderful place quietly nestled in the back of a property near Lake Erie. The hosts were very considerate and left us many things like milk, eggs, and coffee. The house is freshly remodeled and was both comfortable and very well appointed. We would definitely stay here again.

Family fun at the coach house

My daughter/grandson and I stayed at the coach house while visiting family in Lorain. Very cozy with everything you could want and three comfy roomy upstairs bedrooms. We especially enjoyed the front porch and the yard with a view of the lake across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, friendly property owners!

It was an amazing stay. We met Brooke and she was so accommodating and has the best personality! Her hospitality is on par! Couldn’t have asked for a better location or better timing. With rocking on the lake less than a 20 minute walk away. The park isn’t but a few minutes away with a pier you can walk out on to the lighthouse. I recommend!!

Perfect Location

We stayed at the Coach House for a week while visiting our son at Oberlin College. Both my husband and I were able to work remotely as well with plenty of space to spread out. The house is a perfect size and we loved the location close to the beach/park and nearby restaurants and stores. We were even able to bring our dog with us for the trip. We have 3 more years of visits so we will probably be back. Patrick & Brooke were great hosts too and very communicative and helpful.

Wonderful experience! Close to everything we needed. Would definitely go back. The hosts added such a nice personal touch. I have so many food allergies and it was nice of them to have a few things there to hold me over until we had a chance to shop

Great House! Great Location! Great Owners!

We came to Lorain to visit family and I could not find a hotel I liked, so I decided to rent a house for me, my mom and my two sons. The house was clean and cozy! Enough room for each of us to have our own space and feel at home. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the porch each morning while sipping tea. The park and beach are just a quick walk down the street! The communication from the owners was prompt and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to others!!

Cozy house on the Lake

This was our first time renting a house on VRBO and our experience was awesome! The owners were so easy to work with. Our doggie was very happy with the yard too! It had everything and more! I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting around Lake Erie!
