Remote enough to have a quiet place to come home to at the end of each day, but close enough to town to be able to conveniently find dinner and supplies. We were visited in person by the owner, who was very friendly and informative about the area.

This place was great for our needs! It felt clean. The kitchen had all the dishes/tools we needed for cooking and eating. The view was incredible! Would definitely stay again.

The property is well kept, clean and comfortable. High quality kitchen and utensils. Great views. Perfect distance from Gardiner and YNP entrance. 7 mins from hot springs. Ample parking. Susan is a pleasure to communicate with. Prompt response and kept us informed of any changes to the property. Will be my go to place in Gardiner.

For us city dwellers, this property was the epitome of tranquility, quiet and majestic nature. Looking at the mule and horses in the corral next door didn't hurt either. Only 15 minutes or so to north entrance of Yellowstone. The great room area is done with style. Hosts were excellent communicators.

Great location, far away from the crowds but close enough to YNP North Entrance for easy access to the Park. The Barnhouse is very comfortable, with fantastic views looking at the mountains and is fully stocked in every way possible!!! Susan is quick to respond. Check-in was super convenient. Definitely recommend staying at the Slip & Slide Ranch!

Super location if you want to be out in the beautiful Montana countryside. Seeing a herd of bison from your front porch while enjoying a pretty sunset was wonderful! My husband especially loved the friendly horses. The place was stocked so well! Beyond what someone might normally expect. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Everything you could possibly want or need. I have already passed along this particular place to all my friends and family.

We absolutely loved this place! Plenty of space for our family of 5, fully stocked kitchen, and we loved the scenery next to the house (the barn, the bison in the pasture, and the elk in the hills right behind the house in the mornings). Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Perfect home away from home for our family of 5! The location was great - easy, short drive to the north entrance of YSP! Elk and pronghorn were everywhere in Gardiner…and the horses and bison on the property were such a bonus! The beds were SO comfortable. We were grateful for a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook our own meals, and Gardiner had great places for meals out (and huckleberry ice cream!)

We loved our stay at Slip & Slide Ranch. From the beginning Susan responded right away to our booking and any questions that followed. The house is gorgeous and has anything you could ask for and more. Everything is top quality and beautifully maintained. We were able to see horses and bison out front and elk & more out back. I would love to return to the house in the future!

This place was amazing and such beautiful scenery! Very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, comfortable living area to relax, very clean and spacious and even saw elk one morning from the windows. Everything provided, didn’t run out of anything like dishwasher soap, garbage bags, foil, laundry soap, etc. 100% satisfaction!

Very nice house that has been recently upgraded. Clean and comfy that we had no complaints about. The host provided more than enough of everything you would need from a vacation home. They also use high quality kitchenwares, better than I would use at my own home LoL. We enjoyed the stay.

Slip and slide ranch was our favorite stay while visiting yellowstone. Its about 15 minutes from gardiner/yellowstone which is close enough to easily explore but detached enough to provide a very peaceful stay. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the property was a highlight of the day. Susan was a fantastic host and the house was clean, spacious, and well equipped for our stay.
