The house was beautiful and so well stocked! The view from the den and back deck was gorgeous. My kids loved the games and the fire pit. Communication with Hudson was so easy. We would definitely book again! Short drive to downtown Sparta with shops and restaurants. 30 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking and breathtaking views.

Neat as a pin nearly new construction about 7 miles outside of Sparta, this house makes a great base to explore the area.

Clean, well stocked home with plenty of seating, games, snacks and drinks provided. We had a wonderful time!

Quiet retreat, clean and very relaxing. Contact with the host was great and access to the property was easy. Our only negative would be cushions for the dining room seating. We played board games for hours in the evening and extended sitting gets uncomfortable on the wooden benches. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable, comfortable stay and we would definitely come back!!

The property is in a quiet location with beautiful views from the front porch and the back deck. You do see the power lines out back, but it is still a nice view. We especially enjoyed the stars at night and hearing the owls. The home is a relatively new build and is very comfortable. Hudson was very responsive for any questions we had. We appreciated the snacks and the few drinks in the fridge. The kitchen is pretty well stocked. We were here for a wedding at Winter Wood Farm and this was a good place to stay. Getting to Sparta for groceries and meals was about 14-15 minute drive.

Check in was easy, kitchen was well equipped and the property was well maintained. The view was very nice. Would stay here again if we’re in the area.

Great communication with host. Place very quiet, peaceful so had a relaxation which we wanted. Clean with all amenities provided. View was nice and the sunsets were awesome.

Very nice property. House was very clean, comfortable and had a very relaxing vibe. Sparta, Galax, Blue Ridge Parkwayand many Christmas tree farms are all close by. Was greeted by the deer every evening. Plan to come back to this property in the near future.

Peaceful Stay

We loved staying here for a long weekend. It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. It was spotless and the beds were so comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even stayed up late to watch the meteor shower. Would love to come back for another visit. Highly recommend.

Blue Ridge Fiber Festival

Our group was in town for the Blue Ridge Fiber Festival. We spent two nights at this lovely property. The deck and the scenery were fabulous. And we thought that decor was beautifully done. We enjoyed our stay greatly. We would book this vacation property again.

Unexpected outdoor serenity.

The home is extremely clean and well furnished. At dusk, I saw two rabbits grazing,two deer crossing the road and heard two owls calling out to each other. We will return.

Sweet Getaway

Husband and I spent a getaway weekend in this cute little house on top of a pretty ridge. House was fresh, clean and had everything we needed. It is well decorated with thoughtful extras. Views are beautiful. We shopped for Christmas in Sparta’s cute shops and picked up a freshly cut tree. If you haven’t visited Sparta, you really should rent this house and check it out.

Quiet location with a nice view. The house is comfortable and clean, access was easy. Beware of the patio umbrella in the photo. It was laying on the deck and when we attempted to put it up a ton of ant eggs poured out all over the table and deck, along with a few long dead insects. It was a shame since we had already wiped down the table and were ready to relax and enjoy the view. We retreated and enjoyed the view from inside. Everything else was as expected.
