Welcome to your perfect getaway! This newly remodeled home has four bedrooms with two bathrooms and is located steps from the lake. Still in town, so you are close to restaurants, the grocery store, the meat locker, the bait shop, city park, state park and a Wildlife Refuge. Plenty of space for the whole family! Come and catch some large mouth bass, bluegill, perch, walleye or northern! Great place to rest after a long day of hunting as well!

Location was excellent! Size was perfect for us, the inside was very, very clean and had everything you would need!The beds were a little too hard for us and the grill on the back patio was dirty so we didn't use it but other then that the house was great!

Return to hometown

My husband grew up in Ortonville so we planned a family trip back to visit Grandma/Great grandma. The house was perfect for all 7 of us. It had plenty of room and a great yard which had a perfect view of the lake. We will definitely stay there again.

The house was perfect and so beautiful! We all were comfortable and it was very cozy. We used the kitchen alot for cooking and it had eveything we needed. We will definitely rent again in the future if available.

Great location!

Beautiful home, clean! Great location to walk downtown and get to boat dock for fishing! I highly recommend the Headwaters bar and grill and the Lingonberry coffee shop!

Convenient and clean!

This home is within walking distance of everything Ortonville has to offer. Property managers were willing to work with our Amtrak schedule as far as check in and out. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Would definitely rent again.

Clean and well-equipped property

We had a wonderful stay with our family. Ortonville is a friendly and welcoming community. The fishing was great fun at the Headwaters dam.

Great place to stay

We stayed for a week to do some ice fishing. The place was great and would highly recommend. Travis and Renee were great with communication for any of our needs. Thanks for everything!

Wonderful lake view property

Ice Fishing Trip

Our group was very pleased with our stay in the Ortonville. It was very clean, and the beds were a dream. Everything work like it should. Very nice home. That's why we gave it a five star rating. We would stay here again.

Loved everything, be nice to have some lawn chairs in front in nice screened porch and back patio a couple lounge or reg lawn chairs. A small dresser in each bedroom

Modern and convenient house

The house is nice, we loved that the interior was modernized remodel, it’s nice to have the big sectional in the living room with the large big screen TV. We could have used a few more bath towels. Although the house looks small there was plenty of room for six of us. We had a great time!

Perfect For Our Needs

We didn't know when we first reserved this home if it would just be the three of us or if some other members of our family would need a place to stay during our 4 day family reunion in Milbank. It turned out that we had several people stay with us and there was plenty of room. With two bedrooms and one bathroom up and another two bedrooms and bathroom in the basement, plus a "mancave" in the basement, this property has all the space you would need for large gatherings. I personally love the house and property surrounding it. It's great that from the back deck you can look over the park and lake behind the house. There's a grocery store within walking distance as well as downtown Ortonville shopping and even a couple of pubs. The house feels like it has been recently remodeled and has very new appliances, flooring, furniture including a dining table for six, etc. The owners of the house were easily reached and we're very friendly and accommodating. This is a good one, Folks. Rent it if you get a chance. :-)

Fantastic in-town Lakeside home

Wow! This is a great place! Everything was as listed. Furnishings are nice, it's clean and we could not have asked for a better place to meet up with family.

2022 Big Stone Lake Home

Thank you for sharing your VRBO home with us. We had a wonderful time the fishing was awesome. We caught over 100 perch and crappies. The home was very clean.Kudos to your cleaning crew.
