Welcome to your perfect getaway! This newly remodeled home has four bedrooms with two bathrooms and is located steps from the lake. Still in town, so you are close to restaurants, the grocery store, the meat locker, the bait shop, city park, state park and a Wildlife Refuge. Plenty of space for the whole family! Come and catch some large mouth bass, bluegill, perch, walleye or northern! Great place to rest after a long day of hunting as well!

Clean, comfortable, great location

We had a great stay. The house is close to the lake and walkable to groceries, bars and restaurants.

Loved everything, be nice to have some lawn chairs in front in nice screened porch and back patio a couple lounge or reg lawn chairs. A small dresser in each bedroom

Great location!

Beautiful home, clean! Great location to walk downtown and get to boat dock for fishing! I highly recommend the Headwaters bar and grill and the Lingonberry coffee shop!

Clean and well-equipped property

We had a wonderful stay with our family. Ortonville is a friendly and welcoming community. The fishing was great fun at the Headwaters dam.

Wonderful lake view property

Modern and convenient house

The house is nice, we loved that the interior was modernized remodel, it’s nice to have the big sectional in the living room with the large big screen TV. We could have used a few more bath towels. Although the house looks small there was plenty of room for six of us. We had a great time!

Ice Fishing Trip

Our group was very pleased with our stay in the Ortonville. It was very clean, and the beds were a dream. Everything work like it should. Very nice home. That's why we gave it a five star rating. We would stay here again.

Perfect For Our Needs

We didn't know when we first reserved this home if it would just be the three of us or if some other members of our family would need a place to stay during our 4 day family reunion in Milbank. It turned out that we had several people stay with us and there was plenty of room. With two bedrooms and one bathroom up and another two bedrooms and bathroom in the basement, plus a "mancave" in the basement, this property has all the space you would need for large gatherings. I personally love the house and property surrounding it. It's great that from the back deck you can look over the park and lake behind the house. There's a grocery store within walking distance as well as downtown Ortonville shopping and even a couple of pubs. The house feels like it has been recently remodeled and has very new appliances, flooring, furniture including a dining table for six, etc. The owners of the house were easily reached and we're very friendly and accommodating. This is a good one, Folks. Rent it if you get a chance. :-)

Fantastic in-town Lakeside home

Wow! This is a great place! Everything was as listed. Furnishings are nice, it's clean and we could not have asked for a better place to meet up with family.

2022 Big Stone Lake Home

Thank you for sharing your VRBO home with us. We had a wonderful time the fishing was awesome. We caught over 100 perch and crappies. The home was very clean.Kudos to your cleaning crew.

Beautiful place

This house is beautiful inside. There is alot of space to allow for people to be together as well as alone time if you choose. It is a very small town so it feels like you are in your own little place. It's nice to have the lake right out the back door. We loved it!

Lovely stay

We had a friend get-together and this was a central location for all of us. The house was lovely, clean and cozy with a good view of the lake. There is a grocery store nearby and some good restaurants in the area. It would be fun to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. The host was great at communication.

Amazing Weekend

We booked this house for a girls weekend/ 30th birthday party! We LOVED the house. Everything was clean; and the hosts left tons of personal touches to make it feel homelike and comfortable. 7 of us stayed very comfortably, and we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be planning time back in the future. Hosts were great at communicating with me as well. Thanks for everything!

Will Be Back!

We went to Ortonville to fish on Big Stone Lake. We wanted a home base to sleep/shower/relax. We were so happy with our stay at this home. Everything was as described in the listing. The coffee bar was an excellent perk as was the basket of snacks. It was close enough to downtown so that my husband could walk to grab a few things at the grocery store. We will definitely stay again if we were to return to Ortonville.

Great place to stay

We stayed for a week to do some ice fishing. The place was great and would highly recommend. Travis and Renee were great with communication for any of our needs. Thanks for everything!
