Great property, spacious and well-equipped. Very short walk to the beach and water. Brant and Maggie were helpful and gracious hosts. We plan to return next summer. Our dog loved being there also.

Brant and Maggie are wonderful hosts and made our stay at the cottage outstanding. They are so knowledgeable about the area and gave us excellent information about where to hike and where to eat. The cottage is clean and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful. Angel and Millie (canines) are very friendly.

This property was everything we wanted with a nice scenic walk to a fantastic private beach with a bald eagles nest in the property owners back yard!...Awesome... I can't say enough positive things about our hosts, they were great. Awesome sunsets and our dog made his first Maine friends with their dogs. We had a great time and when we come back we will defenetily stay here again.

Outstanding cottage!

We had such a great stay at Loon Cottage. The location was beautiful, and very convenient to the park. The owners are thoughtful and kind and our whole experience was excellent.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be by the water and close to Acadia hikes but away from the crowds. Brant was very helpful and made sure our stay was everything we wanted.

As usual, we had a wonderful stay. Brant and Maggie are great hosts. The cottage is comfortable and relaxing and the location is great for heading out for adventures or into town. We love staying here. Till next summer!

Quiet retreat near Acadia

Home is well equipped and suited our needs as a place to stay with our dog while spending the days exploring Acadia.

Great Location

This spot was very quiet and relaxing. Centrally located near Acadia and other sites around Bar Harbor. Host was wonderful.

We had an excellent time. We really enjoyed the location of the cottage and the privacy. Our dog enjoyed playing with Angel and Millie. Grant and Maggie were gracious hosts. We would definitely return. I can’t say enough great things about this place and the views and wildlife are amazing!!!

Great Host and super dog friendly property

We would travel for 1 1/2 hours to visit places that were no more beautiful than just a short walk down the path

Awesome stay

Very accommodating and hospitable host with a great dog friendly property! We were very comfortable, loved the beach and are going to miss our morning walks with the dogs. Excellent location to access Mt. Desert Island, Bar Harbor and Acadia. Will definitely be back.

The loon cottage was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there for our week visit. Brant and Maggie are gracious hosts. We enjoyed our visits with Brant and dogs Millie and Angel. The dog friendliness of the cottage was great for us with a perfect beach (that our toddler loved too!) and trails to walk. Location is central to many amenities, sites and restaurants. We will be back!

Great Location

Another wonderful vacation at the cottage! Close to Acadia National Park but away from the crowds. A nice quiet setting with access to the water. And our hosts, Maggie and Brant were wonderful as usual. Looking forward to next year!

Perfectly Tranquil Retreat

Our family really enjoyed our weeklong stay at Loon Cove. The private beach was perfect for our kiddo explorers/swimmers. The views were amazing. The house is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. Perfect vacation for us, and we hope to return in the future.

Beautiful

Brant and Maggie were kind and generous hosts. The cottage is lovely - immaculate and well-stocked with necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved beach, the eagles, the seals and the dogs and could not possibly have asked for more.

Beautiful property!!

Absolutely beautiful property located in the perfect location! Brant and Maggie were wonderful hosts who were happy to offer recommendations. Located close to Acadia National park and Bar Harbor. Fantastic sunsets, eagles, hawks, what more could ask for! Highly recommend.
