Welcome to your temporary home!! Luxury meets comfort, functionality and location in this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1250SF basement suite with full kitchen, laundry, high ceilings and gorgeous custom finishes.

VIBE:
All the design choices are curated to create a luxurious-yet-comfortable look. Exposed brick walls in almost every room, high ceilings, an incredible bar top made from a cross-section of a 180-year-old oak tree (floating shelves in the kitchen came from the same tree!), wide granite countertops (so much counter space!) and high-end tall cabinets, stainless steel appliances. A 75-inch TV with built-in surround-sound system provides captivating entertainment in the cozy living room space, with a 2nd, 60-inch TV at the foot of the king bed in one bedroom. The shower has three shower heads, including a large "rain" style head directly above. In-unit laundry machines mean that you can stay comfortably, even on an extended visit! One bedroom contains office/desk space, and the whole property has free and fast wi-fi access, perfect for those guests who work remotely.

FABULOUS LOCATION:
Located near the Bluebird art district in East Denver and at the heart of the Congress Park neighborhood, minutes away from the Zoo, Botanic Garden, Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Our space is located in the very heart of the Congress Park neighborhood in East Denver, on a block that is surrounded by amazing restaurants and amenities! The front door is literally steps from fine dining (Blue Pan Pizza, Ronin Sushi), casual dining (Crepes 'n Crepes, the French Press), coffee/breakfast (Under The Umbrella Cafe and Bakery, The French Press), a popular ice cream shoppe (Sweet Cooie's), and a neighborhood-anchoring liquor/convenience store (Capitol Heights Pharmacy). It is also just three blocks from the Bluebird theatre and all the great food, art and entertainment that the Bluebird District of Colfax has to offer, and it is only a five minute walk to the 9+CO development at 9th & Colorado Blvd, which offers a variety of hip restaurants & shops as well as a 10-screen AMC movie theater! 10 mins from Downtown, 5 mins from the famous Cherry Creek Shopping District, close to public transport and a 5 to 10 minute Uber ride to most of Denver's attractions.

NEED TO KNOW:
- Kitchen suitable for light cooking: High-end hotplate, toaster oven, microwave. No traditional stove/oven.
-The owners live in the separate upstairs unit with their two children.
-Ring camera doorbell at unit door.
- 75 inch Smart TV with access to streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. Please use your own logins for other apps. No cable.
-No smoking, pets, quiet hours 10PM - 7AM
- Starter supplies provided; guests are responsible for their own paper/cleaning/toiletries after starter supplies run out.

We had an absolutely amazing time. The set up of the home is great. So clean and sweet welcome gift and note. So appreciated it all. The near walks to food, wine bar and pharmacy/liquor store. We had a blast and can’t wait to return!

Perfect Location Basement Apartment

We loved everything about this rental. The industrial but cozy vibe is exactly what we love. Location was amazing; you must check out Under the Umbrella’s breakfast burritos they are located right next door to the property.

Great Location!

We were in town to visit our new grandbaby and Noah's place is close to my daughter's place so it was very convenient for us. But we were pleasantly surprised to find the unit is in the same block as a coffee shop, pizza restaurant and wine bar. What more do you need?? The unit itself is VERY nice for a "garden" unit, doesn't feel like a basement unit at all. And it's well stocked with all the necessities. Noah is a great communicator and check in and check out were easy! We'll definitely be back!

Weekend in Congress Park

My husband, son and I stayed here for a long weekend for a family event. It was a lovely place. It was clean and very welcoming. Great neighborhood and worth to stay there so you can go to Blue Pan Pizza next door. Coffee and ice cream stores within feet. Would definitely recommend this place to stay while you are in Denver.

Spacious, well appointed in a great location

My sister-in-law and I stayed in this apartment for four nights. It was perfect for us - separate, soacious bedrroms; great kitchen and lounging areas; easy parking. The immediate area is fabulous with two coffee shops, a fun pizza place, wine bar and pharmacy/liquor store right outside the door. (Don't miss happy hour at the wine bar - our favourite each day.) We used this apartment as our base for exploring downtown Denver; day trips to Boulder and Idaho Springs (gold mines); and a concert at Red Rocks. Great location, easy access to highways. Noah was a fabulous host, very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this location and property. Would happily stay again.

Great Stay!

Enjoyed our stay. We ate at the nearby restaurants and even got our haircut at a local Aveda salon across the street. The place was quiet, clean, cool in the summer heat and a great place to relax. Easy check in. We really enjoyed the Keurig coffee in the morning and the Brooklyn Bridge Detroit style pizza at Blue Pan Puzza next door. Thank you!

Fantastic spot for an extended weekend away!

I and my 3 teenage kids stayed here and found this to be one of the most well-equipped properties we've stayed at yet. Very comfortable, (Purple mattresses to boot!) fantastic location and the hosts are second to none. Locally owned and managed, makes this property 110% different than those that are not. Thanks Noah and CiCi! We will be sure to refer friends and will be back again!

Hello! My name is Noah Lyman, and I am a co-host along with my wife, CiCi. I'm a Colorado native, and grew up in typical Colorado fashion - skiing since age 3, hiking, mountain biking, camping, etc. My wife is from the other side of the globe, Taiwan, and we've been married since 2009. It's been really fun and enlightening teaching each other about our native cultures, foods, and experiences. These days, we're pretty busy taking care of our two kids, Declan and Lyana; when time allows, we still enjoy the outdoors (skiing/snowboarding, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, etc.), but our true love is traveling. We try to take at least one or two awesome family trips per year. We would be thrilled to have you as guests in our basement suite - we take our jobs as hospitality providers very seriously, and our guests' comfort is our #1 priority. We have lived in Congress Park for almost eleven years, in two different houses. Congress Park is a small, long-established and tight-knit neighborhood in East Denver, and we long ago fell in love with it. It hosts a fantastic elementary school - Teller Elementary (catty corner from our home!) - as well as various delicious restaurants, a plethora of amazing small businesses, and several beautiful parks & open spaces, including soccer fields, playgrounds, a community pool, and tennis & pickleball courts. What we like most about the neighborhood are the people though - the residents are very friendly and polite, and everyone is welcome.

As you can see from our pictures, our space is comfy and inviting, with attractive finishes and luxury touches, BUT, in my opinion, the most special thing about our property is the LOCATION! It is hard to communicate how conveniently located the suite is; we are located at an intersection that could be described as the "social center" of the neighborhood, a small hub of shops and restaurants that are literally right outside the front door! At this location, guests will never have to worry about food or convenience items. From the front door, all of the following are within half a block or less: Blue Pan Pizza (read the reviews - world class Detroit-style pizza), The French Press (great little breakfast & lunch cafe with good coffee), Under the Umbrella (walk-up coffee shop with sandwiches, breakfast burritos, juice, etc.), Ronin Sushi (high-end sushi, ramen & Japanese fare), Sweet Cooie's (an adorable & popular old-school ice cream shoppe that features outdoor music on Friday evenings during the Summer!), Crepes 'n Crepes (French-style crepes cafe), and the Capitol Heights Pharmacy, a little store that has been open since the late 1800's and serves as a liquor store, convenience store AND pharmacy, and is also a central hub of the neighborhood. Furthermore, the door to the space is on a well-lit and heavily travelled street, so safety is not an issue, and the way the property is situated is such that there are no other homes adjacent, so there will never be any issues with neighbors. In other words, a luxurious retreat with all the privacy, amenities and access you will ever need!
