Our family had a very nice stay at this cabin. We had plenty of space for our four families, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed, and more! The owner was very responsive to questions. Check in and out was easy.

Lots of room for everyone to have space, close to town, but quiet on the lake. Check in was simple, very prompt and easy communication, and we had no issues during our stay. The kitchen is fairly well stocked and the filtered water at the sink was nice. We had fun on rainy days with the games, the ping pong in the garage and also enjoyed the fire pit and lily pad.

Friends and Family trip 2025

12 of us stayed ages 13-48. Something fun for everyone to enjoy and plenty of space to hang out even on a rainy day. Felt away from everything but so convenient to town.

This home was perfect for our annual cabin trip with two other families. The bunk room in the basement fit all of the kids and they had a blast rooming together. The basement was a fun hang out for them too! We loved the large table in the kitchen. It could seat our large group of 12! The kids & dads enjoyed fishing off the dock and they caught tons on fish! Our kids loved playing on the lily pad in the water. The beach area has really soft sand. The kids also loved the tire swing out front. The garage was a nice bonus area too! This cabin truly has everything you could need!

Great location. Great host. We had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! We were here for powercruise at brainerd international speedway. So we had a lot of cars. The garage here was spacious enough to hold two of them and then the long driveway held the remaining ones. It was also only a 5 minute drive from the house to the track!

Great family spot, I would highly recommend!

The house has everything that you need for a fun family vacation. The beds are extremely comfortable, a table everyone can fit around, and a peaceful lake.

Great location for families

We loved this space for a multi-generational vacation. The lake access is wonderful, along with the play spaces. Communication was also quick and helpful throughout.

Fit our needs

Property worked well for two families (all adults) for a new years weekend. Booked property cause it was close to town which was nice. House was nice and has had some nice updates.

Family reunion

We had an amazing time at the house! It was clean, beds were very comfortable, all the amenities of home, the views of the lake were beautiful, and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay for our family reunion. We will be back next year!

Wedding close by

Extended family stay for wedding weekend. Very comfy beds! Great campfire wood supply and beautiful views. Used the oversized dining room table frequently, great set up for us. Good communication and great location to Baxter.

Great Stay!

Great cabin. Was very clean and spacious. We stayed in winter so didn't get to enjoy the lovely lake but still had a fantastic stay. The cabin accommodated 9 of us perfectly. Owner was very responsive to questions. I would recommend this beautiful cabin especially for those with larger groups! Thank you, TJ!

Family Lake House Vacation

We enjoyed our 7 day family vacation. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed trying our luck fishing from the dock, using the kayaks, the wild flowers, watching the birds like loons, osprey, blue jays and orioles to name a few, toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, and playing board games with our grandchildren. I will recommend this beautiful place to friends and family, and would gladly come back to stay!

Great lake house!

TJ's property on Red Sand Lake was a great location for our family of 10. The kids loved having a nice sandy beach to play in. The adults loved the kayaks, fire pit, and the proximity to town. When we arrived, we noticed some dirt on the kitchen floor, but TJ had someone from his cleaning crew come out to mop the floors right away. Otherwise the property was in great shape. TJ was a very responsive host and we look forward to staying there again next year!

4th of July 2022

Our family had a great time at this cabin over 4th of July. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils to make meals. The cabin is on a small lake so weedy and mucky bottom. Was fine for our older kids to swim with rafts but is not a wading lake for toddlers.

Family Vacation

The house was great! It was loaded with games to play for all ages, had a table big enough for our party of 10 to sit at togetherfor meals. Outside there was a nice beach area for the kids to play in the sand with sand toys that were provided, along with a nice swing set for the kids to play on. We werent able to swim due to the weeds in the lake, but we did find a public beach about 12 minutes away that was really nice for the kids to swim at. We werent far from safari wilderness zoo, which was a hit with the whole family. TJ was great to work with, and answered all our questions.

Family Vacation on Red Sand Lake

This VRBO rental had everything we needed to enjoy our family gathering. It was so well laid out, furnished and decorated. There was plenty of room for everyone to have some privacy yet gather in the common spaces. Our group included a 9 month old, a 2 1/2 year old, young adults and grandparents and every one was comfortable. There is so much to do in the area and at the rental place. I would definitely stay again and I recommend it to any family who likes an area with plenty to do yet a place to return to and relax, back at the lake. The Smart TV’s were great to have on both levels of the home especially in the evenings. TJ, our host, was great to work with. Ann Reckow

No disappointment with this beautiful property

This lake home turned out to be perfect for us. The location was wonderful, close to the bigger lakes like Gull Lake. But it was a much quieter and less noisy lake, which we loved. Sitting outside, especially in the evening with the fire pit (which was great) was idyllic, hearing only the occasional sounds of nature and the crackling logs. Our daughter's husband and 1 year old took over the lower level, and it was perfect for them with sleeping space and an extra family room and tv. Perfect for going their own way when wanted and keeping entertained. Upstairs was perfect as well. Everything was clean and thoughtfully decorated and maintained. Much of the inside is brand new. The huge eating table (like an extra island) was fun to gather around. Everything we wanted in the kitchen was there, and then some! The owner/manager was easy to communicate with when we had a couple questions, and his responses were really fast. We would definitely go back to this home. Highly recommend.

Family Getaway
