Lake House, Up North in the Pines!

Welcome to our little slice of heaven! A cabin tucked away in the trees, situated in Baxter right on beautiful lake Whipple! With its breathtaking views of the lake and all the amenities you could want, you'll never want to leave! Being in the perfect location just minutes from pristine golf courses, shopping, and many great restaurants your whole group is sure to enjoy. This very spacious four bedroom, two bath house is approximately 2700 sqft. and accommodates 12 comfortably.

Relax in either of the two porches or outside deck that all overlook the lake, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or watching the sunset. The large flat backyard and sandy beach is perfect for playing games and taking in some sunshine during the day. The views are truly breathtaking, and you'll feel like you're in your own private paradise. Fish right off the dock or bring your boat to explore the lake. Take a walk around the quiet neighborhood which leads to a trail around the lake. Finish off the day with a nighttime bonfire using the outdoor fire pit available. We don’t have life jackets, so please bring your own!

In the winter, walk out onto the ice to fish, snowshoe, or skate! Lake Whipple is also directly on the snowmobile trail which makes it easy to hop on from the back yard.

Inside you'll find four spacious bedrooms, each with comfortable beds and plenty of closet space. The two bathrooms are clean and modern, with all the amenities you need to feel at home. Play ping pong downstairs and use the wet bar to make all your favorite mocktails/cocktails! The living room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating for everyone to gather around and enjoy each other's company. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and there's plenty of seating for everyone.

Misc. outside amenities included: dock (can tie your boat up to), grill, corn hole, firepit, marshmallow roasting sticks, outdoor chairs, and sand toys.

Misc. Inside amenities: Ping pong table, wet bar, coffee, coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils, salt & pepper, shampoo & conditioner, first aid kit.

The weather was great, my grand children enjoyed the beach and playing in the water. We've been doing these mini vacations for several years with our whole family and I think this was one of the best vrbos we have stayed at. We had a great time and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Oh my goodness we loved the place so much that we booked for next year before we left! The owners were amazing to work with and were so quick to respond to every message we sent to them. The property was very big, extremely nice and clean, had everything we needed and wanted!

Great property! House is in a great location on a very nice lake. This is our 15th Labor Day VRBO and this one gave us the best bang for our buck. Only negative was it could've been cleaner inside and lawn wasn't mowed. Otherwise the inside has many area to gather and spend time. Outside had a nice clean beach, plenty of parking, enough yard for games, deck and patio. The garage with the games was a total bonus we didn't even know about. This was a great family Labor Day Vacay!

This is our 3rd straight year renting this lake home. Our kids and grandkids love everything about the home, the lake, the proximity to town and other opportunities. It's just simply been a blessing to our family.

The essential items are provided, no tissues. They have a side by side refrigerator/freezer, so limited space. There is a basement bar size refrigerator. Nice beach area, small quiet lake. We enjoyed our time here and will probably return next year!

Best fishing in a long time!

House was well equipped with everything we needed. Clean and offers amazing views of the lake. We especially enjoyed the enclosed porch for meals. The fishing was exceptional and the lake is clear and beautiful! Would recommend!

Excellent Stay and a Beautiful Property

My friends and I had a wonderful time up north. There were 7 of us in total with plenty of room to sleep and move around the cabin. They have so many fun games at the place and a big yard/beach that you can use to enjoy the outdoors. Finally, this location has great access to Brainerd, Baxter, and very nice golf courses in the area. Highly recommend for a stay!

2nd Straight Year - Amazing

Cute place on a quiet lake

Cute house, clean, quiet neighborhood and quiet lake. Lake is weedy and small but easily kayaked. The public beach is large and clean and easy to get to. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, plenty of space indoor and out.

Our family had a great time at this property! It was clean and comfortable, and the kids really enjoyed catching fish off the dock and using the provided kayaks. The listing photos of the inside of the cabin were accurate, and the house worked perfect for our family. We were a bit disappointed with the beach though. The listing photos are not accurate to how the beach looked when we arrived. The beach/water were covered in weeds and leaves from the fall/spring. There was a pile by the weed roller that was raked up and starting to stink! The tall weeds in the water are extremely overgrown now, to the point where they’re growing up through the slats of the dock. We found a rake and ended up having to clean the beach and water up ourselves to make a spot for the kids to swim. There were a few broken items in the house that we made aware to Morgan and Nick and they were quick to respond! Other than that, we had a great time!

Katie, we are very happy to hear you had a good time overall! Thank you for bringing the lake weeds to our attention. This allowed us to bring in a local scuba weed removal team to remove those weeds and create a much cleaner beach and swimming area! We hope to see your group back again in the future!
