Beautiful week

Overall we had a great week. The only downside is the size of the extra sleeping space and the beds. Not big enough for a couple of growing 14 year olds.

Amazing Beach Vacation

We had an amazing time. The condo was in a great location with all the amenities and the property was well maintained. Check in was simple and we even got a discount for an extra day! We have already recommended this property to several of our friends and we can’t wait to come back!

Perfect getaway

Check in was super easy, everything was as it said it was or was pictured, easy access to beach and pools, and very family friendly! We would definitely stay here again! Really enjoyed our stay especially with easy road access and entrance to condo!

Exactly like the picture!

This was my first time with VRBO, and in Gulf Shores. The process and time deadlines were concerning to me, but the property and experience was amazing! It was exactly what we expected! Highly recommend! werenpromised

I have given this 1 star rating for “my beach getaways “ and not this condo. This is the condo that we rented for the week, but 3 hours before we were to check in the management company called to say that we won’t be able to stay there because of some maintenance issues with another condo. Conveniently they did have another condo next to the Lighthouse that was available. We booked the room at the Lighthouse because that is usually where we stay and we enjoy all of the amenities that they offer. The management company seems to think that 300 refund makes up for the difference of going from 3 pools, workout room, outside restrooms and private balconies is more than sufficient. They did offer to refund us for the room and we could find another one ourselves, everyone knows this is not possible, we booked this months ahead so we could stay where we wanted. The condo they moved us too was considered an oceanfront view but it was from the side of the building and behind other balconies that are about 30foot from each other. Instead of the ocean view from the bedroom we had the view of the parking garage where we were supposed to be staying. I know things happen but I feel they could have let us know long before they did. It was a rocky start to our vacation but we did make the best of it and enjoyed ourselves. I will make sure that I rent from the actual owners and not a management company from now on.

Our stay

The LightHouse Condominium is our favorite to stay at. However, this condo needs some upgrades? The mattress in the master was not good. The toilets are too short, and the kitchen wasn’t equipped well, the size was perfect for just the two of us, but a few changes would make it better

Perfect view, close to beach walk way, & restaurants.

I would love to stay in this same condo next trip. The mattresses on the bunk beds need to be upgraded. My son slept on the couch which was lots more comfortable. Still an awesome condo!! Enjoyed our stay!!

Great view but lacked cleanliness

We enjoyed our stay. Great location. Great views. We never expect perfection in a condo because it is a monumental task to keep up with I am sure, that being said it could have been cleaner. Some issues with mold in the showers and a lot of dust. Plenty of towels and sufficient kitchen utensils and dishes.

Nice place to stay

Location was clean and master bedroom and bath was nice. We were on girls trip so had 4 adults. The bunks were small and the top bunk mattress was very small we didn't use this bed.. probably would suit smaller children better. Overall nice place though. Balcony was enjoyable with great view of the ocean.

Great view and location!!

Booked a last minute 4 day trip here and very pleased! We loved waking up in the morning to a beautiful view off the balcony. We had a total of 6 and we where comfortable. The location was close to everything. We had 1 rainy day but the indoor pool was a nice amenity we took advantage of. Only thing I would suggest is 2 extra seats on the balcony to accommodate 6 people. We would stay here again :)

Unsatisfied stay

There is too much furniture for such a small space very congested missing remote for one tv and issues with all other remotes ice maker does not work master bath shower slow to drain and supposed to be a smoke free building could not sit on balcony from smelling cigarette and marijuana smoke the elevators and breeze ways smelled of marijuana the building is under construction for repairs only one pool open parking is very tight however the office staff was nice but don’t think we will staying here again

Unclean condo upon arrival

Nice condo but had not been cleaned, bed sheets were filthy, nothing had been dusted, mopped or rugs vacuumed. It was after hours when we arrived &! I was told that housekeeping was closed & we would have to wait until the next day. Later I received a call saying that a lady could be there at 8:30 pm to clean & put on fresh linens. Another person dropped off linens before the cleaning lady arrived. She backed up our complaint of the condo not being cleaned. She did not have a vacuum & said she would be back the next day, with a vacuum, it never happened. We tipped her $20.00 for coming so late & driving from Pensacola to take care of us We took pictures. No one should have to come to a place of relaxation after driving 8 hours & paying over a thousand dollars. Also this condo needs more silverware, only 5 forks.

Relaxing retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. Just a short walk onto the beach. It was so quiet and peaceful that we were able to truly relax. Sitting on the balcony was just breathtaking. We will be back!!
