Great stay and view

Beachfront great views of ocean! Clean and sufficient kitchen appliances and cookware. Quick response from host. Only negative was the hard bed in bedroom and sofa bed very thin but works for children.

Nice condo with great view!

This small condo is great for a couple! It was clean, provided the basics and had a great view of the beach! Beach was nice and clean and had rental chairs with umbrellas. Location was perfect! Walk right across the street to The Jellyfish for lunch or dinner and a delicious breakfast at Breakfast Club.

Beautiful View!

The view was great. Location was great. It was all clean…. But the furniture was not comfortable at all and there was only Bare minimum in kitchen. No extra blankets…just wish the inside was a little more like home.

Great location and very clean

Condo was very clean and in a great location. Everything about booking this condo was so simple and the resort was very nice. Loved the short walk to the pool and beach. Great condo for a couples getaway and we will definitely go back! My only minor complaint is that the listing made me think there was a washer and dryer in the condo but it was actually downstairs by the lobby. Luckily we had plenty of clothes so it wasn’t a real issue.

Perfect Weekend!

My Wife and I spent a long weekend and the condo was perfect. Easy access to the beach and the room was clean and spacious. I saw other reviews that mentioned a light outside the bedroom window but they must have fixed the issue as we never noticed it. We will be staying here again and are already planning to come back. Highly recommended.

Small but comfy

This condo is on the smaller side as it is a one bedroom, 1.5 bath. The couch pulls out into a bed which was great since we have a toddler but that wasn’t mentioned on the condo’s amenity page! There is no washer & Dryer in any of the PSun units so that is bothersome with so much wet clothing. However, kitchen was stocked minimally but we only needed what was there. Overall, perfect for a weekend getaway with just one kiddo!

Great Family Getaway!

I took my best friend and two toddlers to Perdido Key for a 4 night stay and it was great! The only thing that was kind of annoying was that there were no extra trash bags, and we had a lot of trash with my kids diapers. There were also a few kitchen utensils I would have thought would be there but weren't. The master bathroom sink doesn't drain very well and would fill up with water fast. None of these things were a huge deal and our stay was great! You could tell everything was cleaned with bleach before we came in. I would stay again!

Great Location on Beach

We have stayed at Perdido Sun several times. We like the location at the end of a row of condos which makes their private beach less crowded. The view from inside the condo is excellent due to the extra wide balcony doors/windows. This unit #914, is a 1 BR and 1.5 baths. The listing did not indicate the half bath so that was a plus. Also the sofa is a sleeper. The furniture is nice and comfortable. Would have been 5 stars except: The bed comforter is a little old and I wish I would have brought my own blanket as a substitute (but I am very picky). If you plan to do any type of cooking you should know the kitchen is lacking for glassware and pots/pans. But has plenty of every day dishes. 4 stars for a comfortable and clean unit!

It is at the beach after all...

It’s the beach. It’s hard to complain but this was the worst condo we’ve stayed in out of 4 condos at Perdido Sun. First of all, driving to the rental company to check in is unnecessary. We had to go twice since we came in after hours. That’s the purpose of key pads! The furnishings were in bad shape. We had to put a blanket on the couch to sit on because it’s dingy. The bed felt like it would fall apart when we rolled over and was so squeaky it kept me up all night. As someone else mentioned, there is a bright light outside the window that a simple set of blackout curtains would fix. The kitchen is poorly stocked if you want to do any cooking! We personally like to buy fresh seafood and cook it ourselves so this was a problem for us. I would think twice before renting from this company again! But it’s the beach and the building itself, beach access, and convenience are excellent!

Weekend Getaway

The home was exactly as described. Beautiful view of the beach it was clean very cozy and made you feel at home. Only complaint I have that could make this place better is the blind going to the balcony would not open up all the way. Which it's a condo and several people stay in it every month so little things like that are expected and again did not cause any harm on our stay. The bed was firm we like more of a softer bed but that is a personal preference and in no way reflects badly on the owner. I was concerned that in other condos I've stayed at they had like a welcome type packet waiting on you when you got there and it gave you information as to what was expected to be done upon check out, gives WiFi information, and some even offer suggestions for restaurants and local events and includes a parking pass. We did get a welcome email on the day that gave directions building and room codes WiFi password. And on the day we departed we got a departure email letting us know what we needed to do before we left. We never did get a parking pass and that did give alittle concern because we didn't want our vehicle towed. Again none of that affect negatively on our stay it just would have been nice to have . I would definitely recommend this place and make plans to stay again in the future we had a lovely time.

Worst condo to date…book a diff one.

Since 2018, we’ve taken our annual anniversary vacation to PK. I lived there for several years before relocating to Ft. Lauderdale when I met my husband & we both love the area. We always book through VRBO and have had great experiences every year - until this year. The condo was a 2/5 stars and here’s why: 1) Great view and nice balcony furniture. 2) Vertical blinds were missing 13 slats. This was actually mentioned in another review prior to our stay and ignored. We found almost all of them in the HVAC closet and put them back up. 3) Both TV’s were so outdated we couldn’t even hook up our Roku. Cable channels were super basic. We watch TV or movies if I’m having a bad “health” day so this is important to us for that reason. If you rarely watch TV on vacay, this won’t affect you. 4) Extremely poor Internet/WiFi signal. Not only that, but the connection WASN’T SECURE!! I expressed this and was ignored. 5) Spots on ceiling where there were previous leaks. The far LR corner had pieces of drywall hanging down. The faux plant below it was covered in drywall dust & paint chips. Notified management & nothing done. 6) Although you bring your own supplies, there weren’t ANY basic kitchen supplies. Every condo we’ve stayed at in the past 5 years had at least salt/pepper, cooking oil, spices, etc. Those nice little touches that are unexpected but make your stay just a touch better. Not here. You may as well be staying at the Days Inn or a motor lodge off the turnpike in Jersey. 7) Plenty of towels (Family Dollar quality) and no extra blankets or pillows. Had to use the ones from the bed. 8) Mildew everywhere in the shower - even on the curtain liner. 9) No W/D - the listing didn’t specify it was the shared condo laundry facilities but once I mentioned it, the listing was updated. SMH. 10) Furniture - satisfactory. They should really invest in a recliner or ottoman for the square cushioned chair. I had to move furniture in order to use it to watch the crap TV or our laptop on the coffee table. Basically, save yourself the disappointment and book a different condo. Our typical ones weren’t available so we were sort of forced into selecting this one. Lesson learned. Spend the extra $100-$300. If you can’t, don’t expect to be wowed when you walk through the door.
