Great location on South End of Island

Condo was clean, checkin easy, property managers responsive, location to beach was perfect! Watched the sunrise on the balcony each morning, and loved the views and being so close to the dunes. Reason for 4 stars: while the balcony is not shared, it is not private. It is adjacent to the condo balconies on either side so neighbors are visible and can be heard.

Beautiful property and convenient location.

The property was beautiful as advertised. Beach access was very convenient. The views from the unit were stunning. There were a couple of issues identified during check-in. Staff came quickly to wash the dirty dishes left behind by prior occupants. The entry lock box and unit entry were not working properly. Partial repair was done, but we went the week without a door knob for the exterior door. This made it almost impossible to lock the door or for the door to securely latch / close given the strong breeze. We did enjoy our stay and the condo layout and accommodations overall were very nice.

GREAT LOCATION & AWESOME VIEW

Condo was comfortable & we loved the location & view! Well equipped kitchen & bathrooms/bedrooms Cute decor’… Couple draw back: Powder room needs a toilet paper holder & toilet needs to be reset; Original TP one is under the sink. It is time for a new couch; loveseat is fine but couch sinks down & make noises! Owner OR mgt need POST INSTRUCTIONS for use of beach equipment: RINSE after use, air dry return where you found them! Owner or mgt need to go into cupboard where beach equipment is kept AND Discard ALL beach umbrellas/polls & lounge chair they do not work & take up space! 2 beach chairs work! Someone needs to organize that cupboard in between each rental it was rather cumbersome to get the chairs out but very appreciative that you had them as well as beach towels! We did bring our own umbrella which we put to good use! Harris Teeter is less than 1 mi away for groceries but other than that you are rather secluded other than Ritz Carlton!

Wonderful Condo

I loved this condo. It is in great shape, has a relaxing view, and is on a lovely part of the island. The condo is well decorated, has new carpet and a well-stocked kitchen. The living room furniture is super comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious with lots of closet space. The condo not only has pots, pans, and dishes, but also soap, detergents, and cleaning supplies. The condo is a two story setup (which I loved) and is on the second floor so if stairs are an issue, you will want to pick something else. While the balcony in on the second floor of the condo unit, the view is technically partially obstructed by the dunes. To me, this was the best feature of the condo, though. You can see the waves crashing, but can’t see the umbrellas, chairs, and tents. It appeared so much more natural. I would return just for this view. The condo is on a really peaceful part of the island far from high rise condos that result in a crowded beach. Because of that, the beach is clean and there is alot of space to set up your spot away from others. Nicer restaurants are right down the road at the Ritz Carlton and other restaurants are a bit of a drive, but the peaceful nature of this area is worth the drive.

Comfortable and Clean

Great location just steps from the beach. Enjoyed watching the sunrise and listening to the ocean right from the condo deck. Was very clean. Quiet location. Had everything we needed.

Great stay!!

This unit was clean and well maintained. If I had to list negatives it would be the carpet condition, the refrigerator motor is loud at times, paint is starting to chip off on the master bedroom ceiling with some kind of sticky translucent stain coming out of the a/c vent on the wall and the screen door to patio is a little worn. But that would be it and those are just little things. Overall great unit and would recommend to family of 4.

One thing to improve check in

I would suggest sending check in info before the day of check in. I like to have a hard copy of info for safety reasons. I couldn’t print info due to only receiving it at 10;00the day of check in. I was on the road by that time.

Amelia Island Paradise!

The condo is super cute, comfy and definitely cozy. The location is fantastic. A super family friendly complex. The ramp to the beach makes getting all the gear down easily. One reserved spot is provided and it is in close proximity to the unit. The bathrooms and kitchen could use an update but all appliances worked and were clean. The patio, although small, has a fantastic view and is shaded in the afternoons so an ideal spot to enjoy happy hour overlooking the ocean. We would stay here again!

Perfect for our family!

We enjoyed the sitting on the deck in the evening after playing in the waves and pool all day. It was great to throw a load of laundry in and cook for the kids at home. Plenty of room for our family of five.

Right on the Beach

This property comes with a very easy access to the beach right outside the front door and family-friendly amenities. Would definitely rent here again. Also has quick access to local restaurants & shops

Great spot

Perfect property with short walk to the beach. Condo was nice with ocean view from the patio. Only problem was “numbered” parking spot doesn’t really have a number. We just parked and all was good. Would stay here again!

Outstanding location and beachfront view but needs TLC

We had a great time in Amelia Island and this condo is in a great place right on the beach. In general, it is well appointed but the condo needs some maintenance. Both bedroom bathrooms need a lot of work. While they were updated within the last 10 years with granite and nice tile, the mechanicals need to be updated and the showers need a lot of work. The carpeting is a shag in the bedrooms and seems to be in OK shape but would be better with another type or surface. The biggest plus is the access to the beach. We were a bit disappointed that the relatively new washer/dryer wasn't functioning since we planned our attire based on using them. I'm sure they will have this fixed since the new management seemed to be most responsive to other issues. I will have to chalk up most of the issues to a change in management companies exactly at the time we rented the unit. We will try this place again and hope all issues are resolved by our next visit.
