We loved our stay, the home was clean, quiet, and my kids loved seeing the deer in the yard. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. A nice place to get away.

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful surroundings and wildlife all around. We enjoyed this very clean and well equipped home. Very warm and welcoming. Communication from host was fantastic!

Nice location & peaceful. Convenient shopping and restaurants close by and not too far. Appreciate that the house was very well stocked with everything you need. We did have to do a little cleaning in the kitchen upon arrival - refrigerator and wiped down counters - but maybe we are too picky - overall very good and would stay again. Lovely outdoor space as well!

Perfect!

Beautiful place to stay and so peaceful. Drew was super helpful with helping out of places nearby for shopping, as it was my first time to Colorado and had no clue as to where anything was. Definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

Perfect spring break

Easy to rent, easy access to everything we wanted to do, it had everything and more that we needed. Perfect haven in the woods. Will definitely come and stay again.

Great property!

Excellent property in a great location, easy to get to and a wonderful property manager. Not a lot of unreasonable requests, and an easy check out. Highly recommended this property for a relaxing fun weekend retreat with family and/or friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very nice home in the woods. The house was accurately described in the listing and had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. It was clean and well cared for and the hosts were proactive in providing the information we needed to check in and out. It is a great location and the neighborhood was quite and peaceful.

Beautiful and relaxing stay!

This place is a 10/10! Drew is very engaging and a great host! I stayed with my husband and adult children and we all loved it! Beautiful and very clean! Had everything we needed and would highly suggest booking!

Beautiful Home

Lovely CLEAN home with all the amenities one would want! Location is great, 10 minutes to restaurants, stores and such, 45 minutes or less to all the standard tourist spots around Colorado Springs. Drew responded quickly to our texts, great host!

Wonderful Get- Away

We had a wonderful time. The home was in a beautiful setting with pine trees. We loved sitting around the fire table. The home was well equipped with kitchen supplies . The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the hammock. The host was quick to respond to our questions. We loved our stay there.

Too much to list! Everything was absolutely fantastic! The neighborhood, amenities in the home, communication with Drew, comfy bed, great bedding! Will return here on all our visits to Colorado! Thanks for everything Drew!

Great stay for family of 4 boys wanting an escape from the city

Our family from Texas really enjoyed our stay at Drew’s home. We were wanting to be near Colorado Springs so we could do the various activities in the vicinity and Drew’s home was a great location for this.We liked that it wasn’t too far north of Colorado Springs and still in the woods where my boys loved playing in. The home was very clean and well stocked with supplies. We slept comfortably in the beds and enjoyed using the fire pit and relaxing at night after being active during the day. Highly recommended!

Excellent across the board

Great communications with Drew, wifi - high speed and solid. Every amenity from towels to tissues was top drawer and plentiful. Right down to the smallest details. Location is quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Nice deck and deck furniture make for a relaxing evening sitting with an adult beverage, listening to.....nothing. Highly recommended, 6 stars out of 5.

Truly a haven

The name haven in the woods sums up this place! My family loved the location and all of the pretty scenery. We loved the visits from the deer. This place had everything we needed for our first trip to Colorado. The only thing we didn’t care for was how hard the mattresses were. Just our families preference. Overall we loved it here and would definitely go back.

Perfect!

It was perfect! Stayed for my son’s USAFA Graduation. It was perfect distance to USAFA and we did not have to get on I-25 at all. Gave us a little distance and breathing room from all the activity to destress at the end of the day. Deck with propane fire was wonderful. Place was clean and fit us very well. Nice setting and great house.

Comforts of Home

Highly recommend. Fantastic location with a view of snowy Pikes Peak. All the comforts of home. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare home cooked meals throughout our stay. The large grill and gas fire pit were a huge plus. Two of our guests have allergies, so we appreciated the fragrance free products and no fragrant air fresheners, etc. We were even able to enjoy watching a small group of mule deer from the back porch.

Perfect Haven! Better than The Broadmoor for personal accomodaitons

This was, by far, the cleanest and most beautiful place I've rented. The home, location, grounds etc were perfect for what we needed. Drew was incredibly kind, helpful, generous, and responsive. The home was immaculate and had very nice touches (sealed & stamped toilet paper, lit up toilet, goodies in the fridge etc). Everything was fresh & clean & felt like heaven on earth. Very beautiful and pleasant...good energy! I searched for a place for weeks and every place I had limitations and complications. This beauty and retreat in the woods will not disappoint!

Five stars across the board! This is a fantastic property for those wanting to visit the Colorado Springs / South Denver areas. This is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood…we walked several miles each morning while temps were in the low 60’s! We saw plenty of deer among the trees, houses, and serenity. We went paddle boarding (two different lakes) and went to several restaurants in Monument, and were quite pleased at how friendly and helpful everyone was to us. Perfect! Drew is responsive, although we didn’t have any issues while we stayed at the Haven in the Woods. We’ve stayed in several properties in the Denver and Colorado Springs areas over the past several years, and this was the best home we have stayed at in that time and area. The property is clean, orderly, and flush with high-end amenities that are often overlooked in other rentals - comfortable beds, sofas, and chairs; plenty of soft, luxurious towels; and plenty of cookware, utensils, and coffee cups in the kitchen for sitting outside in the cool morning air with a warm cup of coffee. The basement has several games / activities like foosball, connect four, and plenty of board games to stay busy with the kids for hours. There are really no drawbacks or anything additional needed to stay at this home. Drew runs a quality property: well-apportioned, quiet, friendly, and centrally located to many activities and restaurants. We’ll definitely stay here again! Thanks, Drew!
