Free washers and dryers (2 each) makes quick work of laundry, and for EV drivers, a newly installed 40A Level 2 EV Charger ensures your car is topped off and ready for adventure!

***Note this building has an Ecobee thermostat and we adjust it from an app as requested. The thermostat controls the entire building.

Location, Location, Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This charming rental was in a prime location to shops, restaurants and the Pictured Rocks cruises. In addition, it is close to the many waterfalls and hiking trails. As others have said, this unit has an interesting layout but for just the two of us, it was perfect. The unit was very clean with plenty of amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. We only used the Keurig and microwave, so cannot comment on the stove or cookware offered. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The small living room area could use an update on the couch (squeaky cushions). And as already mentioned, there is a very small table for 2 in the kitchen (not conducive to eating meals). We did not get much in the way of communication from the manager other than a confirmation of our reservation and completed payments. I did inquire/email about 2 days before our stay to get more information and was told I would receive an email the night before our arrival date (wish we would have been told this prior). We would recommend this property to friends/couples or maybe a family with 1-2 small children. Munising is a delightful town and people very friendly.

So-So place in a great location

Overall this property is fine. It is one of three in the building. There were some issues however with our stay, for instance, the bathroom door latch decoupled fron the bathroom door knob preventing me from exiting the bathroom. Additionally the floor of the kitchen and bathroom is not level. There is a hole in the kitchen floor. Some of these issues did detract from my wife's and my enjoyment of our stay. Overall I didn't think the rental rate was appropriate for the property's condition or issues. I did not find rhe bed comfortable, my wife did. It is very soft and excruciatingly wobbly and creeky when tossing or turning. That being said it was nice to have a full size refrigerator, stocked dishes, and a tv which I was able to cast my phone to so that we could stream entertainment. Internet was fast enough for both of us to use. My biggest issue is the rental company provides an app to control the thermostat, but the app isn't available on any app store currently. I called the host to adjust the heat (we visited during a 40° rainy week) and had it set. The host was helpful and responsive, but even set to an appropriate temperature, it was super hot as the heat runs constantly to a cooling temperature and then cools constantly. I don't think it would be difficult to just install a thermostat for guests to use in the properties. The cleaning fee is charged despite guests doing a vast majority of the cleaning. We found prior guest trash under the couch. 2 or 3 out of 5.

Great stay!

Great place to stay in Munising! Apartment was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. Was here in the Fall to see pictured rocks and it was only a 15-30 min drive to the holes we went on! Would highly recommend.

Great stay in Munising

Nice space and great location

Enjoyed everything about our stay. The only frustrating part was trying to get a hold of any of the contacts provided. The welcome email indicated an app or attached info about accessing the property. When I called the numbers listed, it would go to a voicemail and direct me to call another number. Took several hours to make contact, but luckily, there is a delightful brewery right across the street. Everything in the property was clean, and many minor amenities were available for use.

Cute and Clean

My partner had never been to a lot of the iconic locations in Michigan. We planned a marathon road trip and stayed here one night while exploring Pictured Rocks on Labor Day. The property was very clean and well stocked with towels, dishware, shower products, and dish soap/sponges which I’m sure would be handy if we had stayed longer. I did need to clarify how much of the bedding we needed to strip down as part of the checkout notes, but it was very easy to get in contact with the property management. The only negatives, and I say these lightly, is that there was no curtain in the kitchen window (which overlooks parking), and the floor in the kitchen is sloped. If you’re traveling with someone who’s unsteady on their feet, just be advised. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would likely stay again if we ever visit Munising again for a longer stay.

We rented the whole house

It’s an easy walking distance to the downtown and lakefront. There are so many easy and marvelous hikes to easily access. Having the whole house gave us the gathering spot we wanted, but giving separate units to each lent time for privacy too.

Home away from home.

I was so satisfied with our stay at the Tree house. We were walking distance to many places we wanted to go, without having to worry about parking. The property managers were very punctual in replying to any questions we had. Another nice thing about our stay was the parking pass for the State Parks.

Cute little place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came for just a few days and enjoyed our stay. The place was decorated in an updated style and cute for being an old building. The layout was a little odd with the bedroom being in the middle of the apartment and having to go through the kitchen and bedroom to get to the bathroom, but I don’t know how they could have done the layout differently. The kitchen table was ridiculously small and basically not usable for any purpose. Overall, was a great location for seeing and doing stuff in the area and able to walk around town. Never found a thermostat where we could have controlled the temp but thankfully, it was comfortable. No outlets in the bathroom was a small inconvenience, and would have liked to have a box of Kleenex provided. Also, one of the ice cube trays in the freezer was awful to try to get cubes out of! All in all, it was perfect for us! Would recommend to others.

This cozy spot was so conveniently located to everything you would want for a pictured rocks/waterfall stay. It was so cute and clean, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Munising!

Paying customer shouldn't be asked to be janitor too.

Good location as far as walkable to dining & shops and liked access to laundry in building. Did not like that we were asked to do so much cleaning up when we were paying not only a pricey nightly rate but a cleaning fee as well. Would look elsewhere if visit area again.

Excellent location

This property was fantastic, the location in Munising could not have been better as it is walking distance from several restaurants as well as Lake Superior. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The only downside is that the shower head is so low, that it cannot be used by anybody taller than about 5'6".

Cool getaway

This cool unit had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Being located directly across from By George micro-brewery didn't hurt! A great base for UP explorations.

Nice place & location

This property was very nice and clean. It had ample towels and a supply of hand soap, paper towels, TP. Just big enough for my husband and myself. The location in downtown was great for walking to restaurants, gift shops and Lake Superior. The only negative - we were not able to control the cooling and it was very cold. It was controlled by a central system. But, overall WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!

Great location

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The location is within walking distance to so many things. We really liked going on evening walks especially by Lake Superior. It’s so pretty at sunset. I would definitely stay there again.
