DOWNTOWN, Close to Everything

This is one of our 4 vacation rental apts in the building. This Apt is located on the second floor.
2 bedroom 1 bathroom with full tub and shower with pull down shower head. Full kitchen, with table for 4 seating. portable air conditioners and many fans to keep you comfortable. We provide, Bedding, towels,pots, pans, plates, silverware,utensils, traditional drip coffee pot. Wi-Fi, smart tv with YouTubeTV channels. We have a Private parking lot at rear of building with designated parking spot for you. You can walk just 2 min to Pictured Rocks Cruises or Bayshore Park. Close to everything. Pharmacy, US Post Office, Auto store, gas station, bars, restaurants, and Dairy Queen just across the parking lot for dessert.
Queen size bed in each bedroom and 1 Full size bed futon couch in the living room. Sleep up to 6max, 4 adults and 2 children 15& under. Please list the correct number of occupants when booking. Keyless entry so you never get locked out. This is a second floor apartment, very quiet. If you are looking for easy to find, good location, comfortable basics and cleanest in town this is the right spot for you.
If you need more than one Apt please inquire before booking to receive a discount and choosing best apts near each other.

Walk to anything in town

The building is dated, but the apartment is very nicely updated and we enjoyed the stay. Apartment is comfortable, clean and well stocked, including the kitchen. We enjoyed that we could walk anywhere in town. Food, brewpubs and the harbor are all close by.

Good Location would stay here again

The listing and pictures are accurate. The apartment was very clean and a nice supply of linens. It’s in a great location which is close/walking distance to restaurants, etc. The only suggestion would be to furnish bath soap or gel. The amenities said soap so I assumed bath soap. The living room did get a little warm without an air conditioner. I turned on the portable air conditioners and fans and that helped. Overall, a good clean place to stay and great location.

Getaway

We had a great getaway week here. Location is very convenient to downtown stores and activities. Very clean Would definitely stay here again. Laundry is coin operated and in the basement.

Comfortable stay downtown Munising

This was an adequate place for the three of us to stay in Munising, particularly considering the exorbitant summer rates elsewhere. Owner was helpful as well. We had an upstairs apartment and for that you do have to climb pretty steep stairs.

Marvelous Munising

We were very happy with our accomodations. It was fun having other family members staying at the same place but different rooms. The downtown location was perfect because we could walk to the marina, restaurants, and stores. Hope to return again.

Perfect Location in Downtown Munising

This was our second time staying at this location. The building was quiet even with many 4th of July activities going on around it. The size of the 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for us. We will definitely be back!

Clean and safe, great location

The place was clean and very nicely updated. We traveled with three young kids and felt safe here. It’s in a great place with multiple excellent food choices right around the corner. The only thing I found misleading was that the laundry is not in unit, but is coin operated in the basement. That said, the machines worked well and we used them multiple times. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Perfect little place close to everything you need.

This was a great location to be close to restaurants, or any other needs during your stay. Felt perfectly located to travel to all the surrounding attractions.. we did Kitchitipiki, Pictured Rocks, and Tahquamenon falls. Highly recommend!

Okay, not great

We were grateful for the communication and responsiveness of the owners. We had a second-floor apartment up steps through a dark hallway with dim lighting. The apartment was adequate - clean and basic, with amenities as listed. Unfortunately, the two air conditioning units in the two bedrooms were inadequate in cooling the entire apartment. We arranged the fans to push cool air out of the bedrooms into the kitchen and living room, and that helped. However, the living room was uncomfortably warm and the bedrooms uncomfortably cool. These were unusually hot days in Munising especially for September, however, we wondered how occupants did through the hotter summer months. The A/C was inadequate and unsatisfactory. That plus the dark and dim hallway and stairs made for a just ok experience. The owners seemed very nice and responsive. We didn't complain to them about the A/C issue because we figured nothing could be done, and it was unseasonably hot. Having Lake Superior just a few blocks away, and the Pictured Rocks Cruise within walking distance was a big plus. We also enjoyed the short walk to a great little brewery.

All Great except...

Property was very clean and well furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Only negative was smell possibly coming from smokers in other units. Short walking to Pictured Rocks Cruises and restaurants.

Great Location

The exterior of the building and hallways could be spruced up a bit but the apartment itself is in good shape. The location is great for walking to restaurants. We were very comfortable here and the on-site parking was convenient.

Munising Getaway

Spent a few days with the family seeing the picturesque Painted Rock National Lakeshore. This property was a great location to eateries and activities. I would stay here again.

Great apartment and location

Munising has grown since I was there last. This apartment has a great location, you can walk almost anywhere. Place is nice and clean. Each bedroom has an air conditioner, not central air. But we were there end of July, so they were able to keep up, and the nightly breeze is cool. We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit.

Highly recommend this apartment!

This apartment was perfect! In the heart of everything, exactly like the pictures show and very clean. It would be perfect for anyone and was absolutely great for our family of 5. So glad we went with this instead of a hotel room (or rooms). I can't recommend this apartment enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Munising and this apartment really added to it!

Clean and centrally located apartment

We liked the location, cleanliness and extra space for our family of 4 in this apartment. We could walk to everything in town. The building is older, buy kept up in good condition. It was also nice to be able to wash laundry.
