This property surpassed our expectations. Very clean cozy cabin. Very well maintained & stocked with necessities. Our grandsons enjoyed fishing & kayaking on the lake.

Serene lakefront property with everything you would need. Property owner was communicative and flexible. Property was immaculate. View is amazing. Canoe, kayaks, and paddle boards were available on site. Crystal clear and clean lake steps from the door, private beach short walk away, and lots of great hiking trails in the area, including Mt. Monadnock.

We had a great New England lakeside vacation! The cabin has a rustic open feel with high ceilings and plenty of windows and skylights, and it had all the amenities we needed. The dock was fantastic, with an outdoor table and chairs, but also with a screened in seating area with a propane fire pit. Although there are neighboring houses, the cabin is surrounded by trees which give you privacy. We were there on a peak summer weekend, and the lake was active but never felt super-busy. And during the week it was very peaceful. Communication with the Andersons was very easy and efficient. A few things of which to be aware: the Queen beds are smaller than we were used to but still comfortable; and the second "shower only" bathroom in the VRBO listing is an outdoor shower.

Beautiful cabin in a secluded area with a great brand new dock! The living space inside was quite large (with a very comfortable sectional sofa!), great for gathering. The bedrooms are small, but do the trick! Kitchen had all the basics & it was easy to cook in (you can tell the hosts have lived here, as it’s fully stocked). The host was super kind and stopped over with new umbrellas for the dock, so we could have some extra shade. There are paddle boards and kayaks on property for use, along with life jackets. It was the perfect stay for us with our dog, baby, and extended family to gather for a summer vacation. The lake is lovely and we enjoyed paddling around. There’s a beach not far as well, great for a swim. Like most cabins, there are some cobwebs & spiders in the corners, which didn’t bother us, but to note if you’re not used to that. Beds were comfortable and they had lots of extra towels for use in the lake. Note: the 2nd “bathroom” is just the outdoor shower, so there’s only one full bath with toilet/shower indoors. Highly recommend this home & already planning to come back next year!

This is a spectacular vacation home. The large family area was great as we watched the World Cup Soccer matches on the large TV. Plenty of room to also do a large puzzle. The numerous windows allowed natural light to fill the room. Kitchen was fine with a large family dining table. The gas grill is practically new and allowed us to do some fancy grilling (Pork roast) plus burgers and chicken which kept the pots and pan use to a minimum. The lake is absolutely beautiful. The water is so clear you can see the bottom in 15 feet of water. The dock was perfect for our small boat (the boat ramp was easy to navigate). The stand-up paddleboards and the large floating raft were a big hit with the kids. Fishing was challenging but we managed to land several 12–14-inch bass. The huge deck was great for enjoying an evening meal with the whole family overlooking the lake while a Common Loon serenaded us. The wooded area around the home gave us plenty of privacy while the fire pit allowed for some great S'mores fun! It will be hard to find a nicer waterfront vacation home for our family of 4-adults and 2 teenagers.

Lake trip

It was a beautiful cabin on the perfect lake. We loved it, especially the deck and the kayaking opportunities. There was a screened in firepit right on the dock which was very nice also. Our family had a great time.

Wonderful location

House is cozy and equipped with all you need. Water was wonderful. We used our motor boat daily.Fishing was great. Had wonderful weather all week. The Anderson’s were always available if you needed them. Will return for sure. Kathy

This is an amazing rental. I can’t imagine a better place to stayMy only suggestion is to have something in the house with instructions for things around the house. We were unsure what to do with the bedding and towels at the end of our stay, so we just left them in baskets to be washed. There is also what appeared to be speakers under the tv but we had no idea how to use them. Maybe a list of local things to do, places to eat, etc.

Felt like the best spot on this whole lake. Well designed layout of the home and beautifully well kept property made for a fun and relaxing vacation for our family. Little details like available speakers in the home and gazebo by the water allowed for easy integration of our favorite music. Big deck by the waterfront with plenty of comfortable seating was great for fun in the sun as well as cozy star gazing at night. Lots of provided watercraft made for easy access to the water. Early morning fishing, loon watching or just exploring the lake are all on the menu at this awesome place. John was quick to respond to questions and check in/check out was simple and straightforward. Would definitely come back.

Pictures don’t do this place justice! SO SPECIAL!

My friends and I went to camp on this same lake as kids and stayed at this property to be close to the camp reunion. John went above and beyond for us! The property is even better in person and so clean. John greeted us with his dog Charlie and made us feel right at home. The lake was in full swing for the summer but it felt friendly and not over crowded. Favorite VRBO I’ve ever stayed at and can’t wait to be back!

A Happy Memory

This property has it all - very comfortable house with outdoor shower and grill, a great very dog friendly yard with wooded area with fire pit and swing, and then of course the best part- the lake front deck, lake front screened in room, and floating dock. There are paddle boards, kayak, and a canoe. Tess and John could not have been nicer hosts. Our weekend there was a great memory for my children and I. Laurel Lake is so clean! We are very grateful!

We had a wonderful time on Laurel Lake. The cabin was clean, updated, and well stocked. We espesially liked the open inviting living room with windows facing the lake. The location on lake is awesome and the property has a ton of waterfront space. The location feels cozy and private even thought there are cabins close by. We enjoyed the large deck with a screened in gazebo on the water. Our boys loved jumping on the floating pad off the dock. There are kayaks, canoes, and standup paddleboards available. There is a speaker system in the cabin and the gazebo that allows you to stream music from your favorite streaming app on your phone once you connect to the wifi.Communication with the hosts was quick and easy. We meet John on our last day and he couldn't have been nicer.

Absolutely Amazing!

I can not say enough about this beautiful slice of heaven! The lake is breathtaking. The cabin is beautiful and rustic and comes with everything you need for your stay. The hosts is great and very responsive with any and all questions I had. He also went out of his way to ensure our stay was fabulous! What’s not listed in the description is yes there is a fire pit and water toys for use. Kayaks and a canoe, which make your use of the lake that much more fun. Thank you so much for letting my family and I enjoy your home!

Just what we were looking for!

I hesitate to write a good review for the fear that this property will gain to much popularity and when I want to go back it will always be booked. Cutest little cottage on a very private piece of property, great waterfront it has something for everyone. We were looking for something that we could get away for some quiet time and also something that would fit our needs for needed some shade. The waterfront screened in porch could not have been better and even though it rained like really rained for a few hours we sat in there and did not get wet. The fishing was good right from the dock, the water crystal clear. The property was loaded with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. The one thing about rentals you never know what you are going to get for the areas you spend the most time in like the living room but let me express the gratitude we had for a comfy, clean living room set. If I had anything negative to say about the property it was only things that we knew in advance and really was just our preferences and NO negativity on the owners. Such things like we are used to a king bed and we knew there was not one at the property but the master had a comfy bed and just meant we had to snuggle closer :)..The closest store is not that close so I would of brought a little more of what we needed but NO FEAR the owners had exactly what I was looking for and in less than 5 mins I had my fix :) Thanks John. Booking and communications with the owners was EXCELLENT!

This beautiful home is on Lake Laurel, one of the best lakes in the area. The home is spacious and has all the amenities you need. The common space is huge, enough to entertain a lot of people. The deck and dock are spacious and have plenty of seating for relaxing and dining. The view of the lake is amazing, and there are kayaks available. John was a great host, very professional and helpful.I totally recommend this place!
