Charming Waterfront Log Cabin
Escape the daily grind at this unique & tranquil getaway. At the end of a quiet road, this vintage log cabin sits on a 150-acre pond with access to kayaks to explore the water at your leisure. Inside, the space features 2 bedrooms & a spacious loft. Listen to the sounds of nature by the fire pit, watch the sunset from the porch, paddle on the pond, or watch Netflix on our fiberoptic Wi-Fi. However you slice it, you'll leave The Pond Camp relaxed, rejuvenated, & ready to tackle whatever comes your way.
The space
High vaulted ceilings greet you as you enter the cabin. Each room has been artfully appointed with modern furniture and decor to balance the rustic logs and natural outdoor setting. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and a loft above, each with a queen size bed.
The loft space has a small sitting area with a couch, a writing desk, and a chair overlooking the first floor living space, in addition to its queen bed. There is a small collection of children's toys in a basket and a pack-and-play behind the couch to ensure the littlest visitors have a great stay, too!
While the kitchen is small, it is well stocked with pots, pans, bakeware, and utensils to meet all your cooking needs. Use the Keurig or coffee maker to brew your morning cup and enjoy it from a rocking chair overlooking the pond as you get ready for the day. There is a collection of spices, olive oil, cooking spray, salt and pepper on hand to season your culinary creations. There is a second set of plastic dish-ware to make outdoor dining as simple as possible.
The Great Outdoors
Grill outside using the propane grill and tools and enjoy at the picnic table overlooking the water.
Spend your days on the pond fishing, basking in the natural beauty of the water, and paddling using the canoe, kayaks and pedal boat.
The sun sets on the far side of the pond painting the water with hues of orange and red. Spend your nights around the fire pit listening to croaking frogs and the gentle lapping of the pond.
Get cozy inside and enjoy one of the many travel books. Despite being vintage, they will still inspire your next epic adventure. Play a board game. During the colder months there is a furnace to keep the camp toasty & warm.
If totally unplugging isn't your thing, sit back and enjoy Netflix streaming on the 43" inch smart TV and scroll at the same time with fiber optic Internet at 250 mbps.
**A friendly reminder: The Pond Camp is located directly on the water, so everyone should wear life jackets and follow safe behavior when enjoying aquatic activities. Please see the liability waiver at the end of the listing. By booking your stay at The Pond Camp, you agree to the waiver as stated below. If you are visiting with young children, please be mindful of their safety and make sure that there is adult supervision at all times while outdoors. Children who can't swim should wear lifejackets whenever they are near the water.
Guest access
The cabin is located at the end of a quiet road with only a few other camps on the street. You will be able to arrive any time after 4pm and enter the cabin with a keypad lock. You will have the entire cabin to yourself along with use of the small island just offshore. Please respect the other residents of the street and other paddlers on the water.
Other things to note
There are exterior security cameras in-use to monitor deliveries and maintenance and to make sure only registered guests are on the property.
Please keep in mind that this is a cabin directly adjacent to a pond. There is a good chance you will find things like mud, bugs, frogs, and other animals around the property.

Preguntas frecuentes
Acerca del anfitrión
Anfitrión: Lydia

Hi! I am Lydia and I can't wait to share The Pond Camp with you! I love spending time outdoors with my family. MY favorite ways to get outside are hiking, camping, backpacking and road trips in my rooftop tent. I am hiking my way through New Hampshire's 4000 footers and have hiked 32 of the 48 so far. My husband and two young sons much prefer fishing to hiking so you will usually find me tying on lures, hooking worms and trying to get line out of trees if I am not hiking.
Por qué eligió esta propiedad
You will know what I'm talking about as soon as you arrive but it's impossible not to take a deep breath in as soon as you pull up to the cabin.
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
The most unique part of this property might be the private island just off shore. Paddle over with a picnic to be truly surrounded by nature. You will feel totally secluded but without being too far away from shore or civilization. The property feels like you are in the middle of nowhere while being a short distance from a main road and only 15 minutes from Keene.
