A cute and cozy place…perfect for a young family or any age couple . Great porch to play games, eat meals or enjoy morning coffee on the swing bench. In a woodsy setting yet only a short walk from the beach! We really enjoyed our time there.

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my little family! Well thought out and stocked up home with nice accommodations. Simplicity at its finest. Tucked away with an easy walk to the beach.

What a great spot for our family of 4. The house was clean and in good shape. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. Definitely a place we would book again in the future.

Our family of four had the best time at Shellnanigans! This was our second year staying here, and we absolutely love it. The house is super affordable and located right on the 4x4 beach, which makes packing up and heading to the beach for the day so easy.We love how close the house is to the ocean, and it's the perfect size for our family of four. The house has all the basic necessities you need for a beach getaway, and the secluded, peaceful location gives you the best beach vibes.If your family is looking for a small, affordable beach bungalow to relax, sleep, and spend long days on the beach, this is the house for you! We made the best memories and can't wait to come back again!

A good 4x4 vehicle is a must it’s a little farther down the beach. Great location for us. The house is perfect size for a small family. The front porch is so peaceful and the best stargazing. Seeing the wild horses is the best! Kitchen had everything needed. Laundry downstairs with beach chairs, boogie boards. Will be going back! Had a great time! Good communication with great host.

Wonderful stay

It was a short walk/drive to the beach. Ants were a problem but communication/response with owner was quick. Enjoyed our stay!

Me and my family had a wonderful time staying here on Carova Beach. This place was clean and ready to go for visitors and had everything needed to enjoy a nice secluded stay on the beach! Thanks!

Beachy Horses

Beautiful property with quick beach access, a great place to watch the wild horses, best for small family. Property could use a good deep clean (I am pickier than most).

Beautiful beach cottage.

We loved the cottage, so close to the beach and easy to make multiple trips. One day we went 3x, at sunrise, after lunch and at sunset. The sunrise walk was spectacular, mid day we put our beach chairs in the water and after the heat of the day the wild horses come out. Experiencing driving my truck on the 4x4 beach for this 70yr old woman is something I will always remember. Bring plenty of bottled water for drinking, as the sulfur odor/color is fine for bathing and cooking/making coffee, but I preferred to drink bottled.

Great Location

We loved being able to drive directly onto the beach. This house comes with everything you need. There are even beach chairs and umbrellas. The house was cute and perfect for my husband and I on our anniversary trip. We could have even brought the kids, they would have loved the tree house and zip line. We saw horses every day!

Cute cottage by the ocean

House is small but a family of 4 fits comfortably . Loved being able to load my beach gear in the truck and drive to the beach. House was nestled in the trees on a quiet road but you could still hear the ocean from the deck! Never saw horses right at the house but there was evidence they had been there! Host was very easy to reach with any questions you may have. Would stay here again if we come back to Corolla!

Loved!

The beach house is located a short walk off the beach in a semi secluded area with trees on left aide and 2 other homes on roght side of house and trees behind. The tree house and zip line were great. The house was clean. It does need some dishes gone through and added and or changed. The beds were firm but comfortable. The water did smell but that is to be expected with well water. All in all the house was great with an occassional horse sighting near by.
