This 1 BR home is great for a getaway. Only 2 miles from downtown Ithaca & 5 minutes from Cornell. Located at the end of the Song neighborhood in Ecovillage, with large yard. Deep Japanese tub with jacuzzi. 800 sf.

Organic gardens, swimming pond, playground, outdoor furniture and grill. 175 acres of forest and pathways for hiking. or skiing.

Friendly neighborhood with quiet time from 9:30 pm to 7 am.

Enjoy Ithaca gorges, parks, Cayuga lake, great food, music and wineries..

I live here most of the time, so the kitchen is fully stocked and there are many other amenities. Be sure to try out the deep Japanese bath tub with Jacuzzi.

You have the first floor which includes, master bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen and living area. There is a separate apartment downstairs where I live, so you can call on me anytime.

We had a lovely stay. Martha is a wonderful host. The apartment is light and airy and we could watch birds eat grapes right outside the window. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this community with it's friendly neighbors and conscientious way of living. Plus, the many gardens made walking through the area a treat. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Martha is a good host, there if you need anything but she makes sure you have a peaceful, uninterrupted stay if that's what you prefer. You can hear the neighbors on the upper floor, but it didn't bother me especially because they are very quiet at night. I would love to stay here again.

Great location

We loved the property! It was beautiful and peaceful. The location is wonderful. We felt away from it all, but yet Ithaca was right down the hill.

An idyllic getaway

What a peaceful place! My husband always wakes up early, and he really enjoyed walking through the paths on the property and watching the birds every morning. The stars were bright at night, and the lack of road noise was refreshing. The house was spacious and comfortable, and the deep round tub felt good after a long hike. Definitely returning soon!

A beautiful community and great house.

The house is just lovely and is surrounded by beautiful gardens of flowers and vegetables, meadows filled with wild flowers, birds, trees and winding paths through the enchanting landscape. We spent mornings and late afternoons on the small back deck. The house had everything we needed. The host was available and very responsive. It was a wonderful experience.

Unique community, convenient location

We felt this was unique community, close to nature, with beautiful grounds and friendly people. The main floor of the unit was comfortable, spacious and light. It was not clear from the property description that the 2nd bedroom and 2nd bath are in the basement floor. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay there, it was a short convenient drive to Ithaca, Cayuga Lake beach, and Cornell U.

The location of this apartment is fantastic--a quick drive to gorgeous state parks for swimming and hiking. We appreciated the beauty of the nature paths and gardens within the community, as well as the attention to sustainability. Since we like cooking, the kitchen lacked some basic tools such as good cutting knives. The main bedroom was a bit crowded with unnecessary furniture. Communication with Martha was excellent. She responded immediately to issues that came up.

Beautiful area

A friend and I stayed for a weekend while attending a conference at Cornell University. Area is very beautiful and quiet. Note that you have to park in a parking lot and walk a short distance to the unit. The downstairs bathroom is small and basic, but plenty of hot water and pressure. The bed was very comfortable.I had a small issue and the host addressed it immediately. Very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Sunrise over the hill was spectacular, as were the stars at night. Overall, a pleasant place to stay.

Sanctuary

Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to begin. Suffice to say, I booked this property because my dearest son was graduating from Cornell University Veterinary School. It was a place to stay. I cannot tell you how wrong I was in articulating it that way. It is so peaceful, beautiful, relaxing that I would literally go back tomorrow having nothing to celebrate & no one to visit. That’s the most profound review I can leave. It’s not simple to drive from NYC to Ithaca, but I’d do it again, tomorrow!!! It reminds me of Italy. Martha is so kind, generous, giving. It’s a beautiful community that I only hope my day today, trying to recreate things here to remind me of there works. But if not, I will go back!!! You will absolutely love it here ❤️Enjoy!

Martha was a very attentive, personable, and generous host. We enjoyed meeting her. The location is beautiful and interesting as it is an eco community. It’s a short drive to downtown Ithaca, Ithaca College, and Cornell. Lots of areas for hiking, and if you appreciate gardens, there is a lot to see on the property!

Late summer getaway

Ecovillage is a wonderful quiet and friendly community high up on the plateau above Cayuga Lake. The location provides easy access to Ithaca yet is still a world away.. The views are outstanding, the trails on the 100acre property are varied and easily accessible, and fresh breezes in the evening are delightful.

A great getaway.

It was a good experience staying in an ECO community where nature is a priority. The house is very modern with 'smart' appliances. It is spacious with just the right amount of furniture; the long table on the side of the dining room was extra special for holding our game box, backpacks, toys, etc. A great place that offers much needed tranquility.
