Beautifully restored Door County Boathouse located basically in the water and just minutes from Sturgeon Bay. Awesome views! State Park located just down the road for hiking, biking, playgrounds, snowmobiling and more. 2 bedrooms each with queen size beds and NEW Verlo mattresses Patio with fire pit and upper level deck to enjoy the views. Charcoal and gas grill is available. Bring your own sheets and towels. Parking is ideal and designated right across the street. Dock is usually available by June~early October subject to weather. Sorry we DO NOT control the weather. :) Please email for more details.

Super clean and comfortable property with great views on the river and close to all that Sturgeon Bay has to offer. Lots of nearby state and county parks to explore. Easy to do daytrips to the Northern Door with hwy 42/57 access about a mile down the road.

What a special place! Water views in every window and great vibes from the fabulous decorating. We were so content and enchanted with this boathouse we did not want to go anywhere else. Enjoyed sitting on the dock of the bay.

If you want a peaceful place to unwind and listen to the waves rock you to sleep at night this is the place. Very comfortable and clean with a beautiful view…down a quiet road.

This was a very cute, comfortable cottage. I am a birder, and I went hiking every morning at Potawatomi State Park, just down the road, while my husband slept in. Best of both worlds! I rented kayaks at Waterfront Mary's and took the kayak tour at Potawatomi. Perfect place for kayaking.

The place was clean, had a beautiful view and was literally right on the water! The host gave great suggestions for places to eat/things to do. It was the perfect mixture of feeling homey and modernity. It had so many windows facing the water with comfortable places to sit. There was also a nice shower and appliances in the place. It had a little deck, outdoor seating area and a dock. It was a perfect little getaway for my wife and I’s anniversary and we would 10/10 recommend this place and their hosts!

We loved the property. Such a relaxing location. Enjoyed the small table on the side deck. Spent much time there. My one comment would be there isn't a number on the house so we were confused which house was correct. A sign at the gate would be great. Otherwise, we enjoyed everything about the location.

Relaxing, beautiful views right in the water. Loved the sound of the waves lapping on the shore, watching the many birds diving in the water for breakfast in the AM, and the proximity to downtown while feeling we were on our own little island. Brian, the host, was very helpful both while we planned our trip and while we were there. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boat House and especially liked the panoramic view, the comfortable (and whimsical!) decor, and its location to everything.Brian, the owner, had great suggestions for dining and local attractions and was in frequent and clear communication with us from booking to departure. We are already planning a return visit!

Honeymoon in Door County

We had a great time staying at the boathouse. Check in was easy and this cute spot on the water was the perfect size for us. The host was great and had plenty of recommendations for things to do locally. He also included a little honeymoon gift for us which was very nice. Would recommend to other guests
