Down East Maine

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather was gorgeous all was as it should be for a guest to enjoy themselves. Unfortunately on the second day I got ill and we had to return home two days early

Very clean. Lots of linens. Hosts were very helpful. Convenient to Booth Bay. Very well stocked kitchen. The downstairs bathroom away from the bedrooms was much roomier than the upstairs one. Nice place.

Great property. Lovely deck with a view of the water. The one thing I'd think about for next time is that it's enough outside town that it can feel like a bit of a hike to get to downtown Boothbay (10-15 min and parking can be hard to find) and back when you have kids or people who might need a quick break in the middle of the day.

Hi Joanna Thank you for this nice (and informative!) review. This home is located in East Boothbay -- a different -- but close! peninsula I agree about a 10 min drive to downtown Boothbay Harbor.

Clean house, secluded. Lots of linens. Host was very responsive and it was a nice place to unplug for a bit and relax away from the city.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood. Centrally located between Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor. If you stay here, book a lobster boat experience with Acadia Lobster Cruise - Jason Clark.

Lovely ocean getaway

Quiet and relaxing home.

Very well stocked and comfortable home. Off the beaten path, but close to shopping and dining. Our family really enjoyed our stay!

Summer Family Vacation

Location was great along with the weather. Friendly neighborhood and a relaxing vacation spot. Plenty of space for the family. Downstairs was a bonus and a great space to study and complete some work tasks.

maine get away

this is my second year in a row staying here..the walk around the neighborhood is beautiful (views), little traffic, close to town and ocean. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well worth the drive from NC!!!

Cozy cabin in a lovely neighborhood

Cozy cabin in a beautiful, convenient setting. Neighborhood is great for running and walking. We enjoyed our stay here. Had an issue with the heat, but property manager was very responsive and it was resolved. I would stay here again.

It's really the perfect circuit - you get river views, forests and a glimpse of huge ocean waves all in one great loop. And I am glad we were able to figure out the heating vents were closed. -- it makes all the difference for coziness! I hope you come back again! Liz

Quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided for. We even saw deer one morning from the bedroom window.

Beautiful Home close to the Bay

This was a last minute booking and we found it to be close to many wonderful places to explore. Loved the general store near by! Walked the loop over the dam, walked the rocks at the nearby beach. Close to Boothbay and many other beautiful places. Con: Late check in time of 4pm.
