We loved this beach house! Stunning water and sunrise views from the deck! Fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are lovely and large and the beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back soon.

This is the perfect spot. to enjoy the beach. Far less crowded than other beaches in Galveston. The fact that you can easily walk out on to the sand from our rental was gold. We would absolutely come back!

The pictures are very old that’s on the website. It needs lots of maintenance. Downstairs shower didn’t work. There was mold on the wall in bathroom. One of the bedrooms had holes punched in the walls. Floors are warping . Could be a cute place with a little work done to the place. I would not recommend it to anyone.

We were pleased with the quality of the home for the price we paid. It was a great location being right on the beach and the perfect size for our family. It was clean with just a few items that needed maintenance - the sink didn't drain properly, the shower mat needs to be replaced, there was a pretty large hole in the wall of one of the bedrooms and the outside shower did not work. The freezer also wasn't working properly. But overall, we were happy with the home and would stay there again.

We loved this property. A great house on the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and the host was very responsive. We could walk out the front door to miles of beach in either direction. We can’t wait to go back.

The house is in a great location. The beach is right at your fingertips. The decor is pretty and bright and updated. The beds were comfortable and it was nice that all of the beds were king. The pest problem wasn’t disclosed to us. Traveling with a baby, I didn’t expect to have to remove big traps from the baby’s reach. The floor has lifted in several areas creating a danger for a baby who we then had to keep in our arms a whole week rather than let her crawl around and explore. The hole in the wall wasn’t very pretty, but I guess it didn’t bother us much. And the minimal response form the host or property management company was highly disappointing for the amount of money we spent to celebrate with my kids my completion of chemo. So, it wasn’t just a small weekend getaway. It was a huge life celebration. The very small refund we got a week after our trip was the first form of any solution we were offered.

Great location and cozy stay

We loved the deck and being right on the beach. We found the place clean and comfortable, but in need of a little TLC. Overall a great choice for Galveston.

The house itself was clean & smelled great. Desperately needs repairs done on the house though & for the price you pay to rent it, we were pretty disappointed in that.The company notified us a few hours before we got there that the dishwasher was no longer working but they’d try to fix it before we got there. We got to the house to find no one working on it & a sign stating it was out of order. So we had to hand wash all the dishes we used.There is bare minimum when it comes to soaps for hands & body. I find that ridiculous since the price you pay to rent out the house. You get 1 shampoo & 1 conditioner for each bathroom along with 1 SMALL bar of soap for body & 1 small bar of soap for face. Thankfully, came prepared & brought our soaps, but this is to let others beware BRING ALL YOUR OWN ITEMS, they WILL NOT supply them. Pretty stingy, honestly. As far as the kitchen, it’s pretty well stocked. ***No storage containers with appropriate lids to store cooked foods in the fridge. no meat thermometer (there was an old one that DOES NOT work), bring that if you plan to cook meat in the kitchen.The front door area when you step in feels as if you’re about to fall thru the floor. So we had to make sure to step over that spot, including our kids.Some items were either broken, falling off the walls, there are patched up walls with plaster not painted, tacky. Umbrella on the porch is also broken & not usable.

The property is great. It's a very nice house with three very roomy bedrooms and king-size beds, and we'd like to stay there again. The only issue we had is there is a beach nourishment project underway, so the beach was closed during our stay. However, that was no fault of the owner, and once the beach is open again we'd love to stay there again.

Galveston Get Away

We were just looking to be able to spend some quiet time with family. This home provided ample space for hanging out, inside and out. We wanted to be away from the busy area, but enjoy the beach views. It was perfect!
