The first floor offers a separate family room and two bedrooms. The second floor will be the main gathering place for your crew, with a third bedroom, a spacious great room, a kitchen with a breakfast bar and dining room, while the third floor rounds out your living spaces with a primary bedroom with Jacuzzi tub and a comfy sitting room, perfect for reading a book or writing a postcard. When taking a break from the beach, enjoy lots of viewing entertainment with three TVs, a DVD player, and a stereo/CD player. You'll enjoy the added bonus of having streaming access to all your favorite movies and shows. The private pool is open seasonally from 4/26/2025 and closes 10/12/2025. Dates are subject to change.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

A Spectacular View in a Wildlife Hotspot

The house was spotless when we arrived (though a bit outdated), and the view from the upper deck was tremendous. The kitchen was well-stocked for a week of cooking. Because we came in the off season, we often had our own private beach. We saw dolphins EVERY DAY, innumerable species of seabirds, and even a humpback whale slapping the sea in the far distance! The stargazing from the top deck was spectacular with many sightings of shooting stars. We had such a lovely week. I would highly recommend this stay.

Beautiful Getaway

Wonderful property and beach. Easy check in, and clean. Towels were provided which is wonderful, but they aren't a soft cotton. Bring towels. Great vacation, we would rent this house again..

Another fine visit

Not bad

Location isn’t terrible, it is a little bit of a hike to the beach. House was clean except for the floors. Hopefully they can fix many of the doors that were very difficult to open and the porch light that was burnt out. Overall it worked for us, but I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

Nice house

Overall not bad definitely needs new dishwasher. All the other appliances worked great. Tv remotes did not work. Get used to doing some walking as it is a little bit of a walk to the beach but definitely worth it. Also you will get your stair steps in. The view from upstairs balcony is awesome. The house overall is great and take advantage of Atlantic Rentals to get Kayaks for the week. Just a heads up they do not come with car carriers so either bring your own or plan on using them only at your beach and it’s a bit of haul to drag them down.

Discourse with property management was untimely

Discourse with property management was untimely. Attempts were made to communicate with property management due to inclement weather. The property management did not respond until a couple days later, which was quite unhelpful given the circumstances. Flooding was forecast for the area, and much of the area did experience flooding, but once again, the property management was not responsive and thus, we decided not to go to the rental. We were hoping that the property management could give us an update on the conditions of the property and potentially the surrounding roads.

Be ready to walk!

Yes it's on the beach BUT you have to walk up dunes then down dunes then across dunes to just get to the water. Pack everything you want because I can't see returning to the house for anything once you're on that beach. Cute home, nice size rooms, nice quiet location, must drive to everything, Christmas time meant very few restaurants were open or with limited hours of service.

Great home

This was my 2nd stay at Victorian Dollhouse in 2 years . House layout was good but may be difficult for older as there are steps to climb both outside and inside . House has 3 floors . House does need some updating as nothing had been done in the two years that I was at this house before . Water leak from 3rd floor came down to kitchen floor on 2nd floor after heavy rain . Double doors to deck from living room had a difficult way to lock and mesh door screens on living room deck were torn out . Hot tub was very nice and liked the enclosed tub although you had to go outside to an enclosed room . Kitchen was well stocked but no regular toaster - just a toaster oven . Great views of ocean especially from 3rd floor deck . Despite some needed updates I would come back to this house

Great Location

Loved the location, easy access to beach. House needs additional cleaning and some upgrades. The mattress in the master bedroom (top floor) is worn and sunk in on the right side. Mold in the ceiling vent in master bedroom and moldy shower curtain in master bath. We would love to stay here again if these issues were resolved

Can’t say satisfied

I will say it needs some TLC. The home had many nice assets like the location was nice, house was cute, roomy and comfortable but there were things that could have been better just with a little effort. I will list a few areas that were issues. The dish washer did not work properly, queen bed on bottom floor was very hard, wall plug in the main floor bathroom did not work, kitchen sink leaked, bugs in light fixtures, the grill was dirty and the out side trash cans were full from previous renters when we arrived. I gave all these issues to management I will assume they will fix.

not what it used to be

Proximity to the beach, new owner apparently doesn't care about the property. Hot tub and grill broken, not hot water to the washing machine. Vacasa very slow to respond, got the run around

House good, Vacasa experience bad

The house had a good layout with a bedrooms/bath on each floor. Worked out great for our 3 family units. The direct connect to the beach is great, but the dunes are extremely steep so it’s hard to get things and kids over it. Had some great fishing on the beach and beach itself was amazing as always! The cleaners didn’t show up till after 7 not done till 8. We talked with a vacasa rep that showed up at the house - made our own beds so we got a refund for that which was nice. But we never received contact info for the accessory rentals (even after sending emails) so we weren’t able to enjoy that. There’s a rusted out bbq that should be removed as it’s a hazard. The middle level bedroom had an ant colony in the window. The top level bathroom doesn’t drain well. The bottom level bathroom safety rail in the tub is not secured- we had some fall during a shower because of that. The front door is extremely hard to get into. We’ve been going to the OBX for over 40 years so no matter what we always thoroughly enjoy it. But the experience with the rental itself was disappointing.

Comfortable house

Great quiet location, easy up and over the dunes to the beach. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable. The living room couches look nice in the pictures but could definitely use replacement.

OBX Home away from Home

The walk to the beach was great. It was the perfect size for our family. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. Absolutely loves sitting on the decks every evening. Plenty of outdoor seating. The kitchen had every gadget you need for making anything. Very well stocked.
