5 Bed/4BA Spacious comfy w/Hot tub, Home Theater, 5 min to CU and all Sundance

Excellent location for CU events and Sundance, close in, but quiet and discreet. Family and dog friendly, in an optimal Table Mesa location. Four houses up from the SKIP bus to CU and Pearl Street; 3 miles to downtown; walking/biking distance to parks, trails, restaurants, ice-cream, Whole Foods, King Soopers...

Fenced backyard with new large hot tub, large L sofa with full cover umbrella, trampoline, weber grill, 8-10 seat dining... (Dog door to backyard).

Front porch with views of the Flatirons great for morning coffee/tea/breakfast, lunch, happy hour... evening sunsets.

Kitchen is kept fully stocked, including staples and extensive herbs and spices. (Seasonal herb garden in backyard summer months).

Primary bedroom has new Saatva king mattress and bedding, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and soaking tub, walk-in closet.

There are three additional bedrooms upstairs: 2 with queen beds, 1 with full.
These share a freshly renovated large bathroom with 2 sinks and pebble floor rain-shower. (Photos coming)

There is a quiet separated 5th basement level bedroom with comfortable queen mattress, smart tv; and adjoining bathroom with shower.

All bedrooms have blackout shades and ceiling fans, (basement room does not).

'Home Theater' in basement - with 110" screen, new 4k projector, 5.1 sound. Amazon, Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Paramount+/CBS, ESPN+. Device with HDMI can be connected for screening. 3D Blu-ray player. (Note - we do not have live tv/cable).

This home is in an excellent location within walking distance of trails, parks/playgrounds, a library, south boulder rec center, and Table Mesa Center - with Whole Foods, King Soopers, Sweet Cow ice cream, Snarfs (delicious subs), Southern Sun, Morso, Walnut Cafe (breakfast/brunch), Tandoori Grill (best Indian food), Tsing Tao (great Chinese), Illegal Pete’s burritos, Moe's Bagels, Pettyjohn's Liquor/Wine, Boxcar Coffee, Starbucks…

The home is just 4 houses up from the SKIP bus that runs to CU Boulder and Pearl Street pedestrian mall downtown. Easy access to all Sundance venues. Great for a Folsom Game or Concert.
Pearl Street/Downtown Boulder is a 5 minute drive/Uber. Downtown Denver/LoDo is 25 minute drive.

Note: This is a very family friendly neighborhood - not a party house, rather best for family/extended family, family plus a couple, or max 8 Adults (plus up to 2 children under 13).

Owners were deep in 'Hollywood' before moving here 25 years ago. Mark was DOD for Jon Landau, wrote and produced an indie film that was picked up by Universal, and has been writing since, fixing and renting fam home out to support continuing writing... Chris went from P.A. and Chris Walken Assistant, to CAA, to Columbia Pics - to 6th grade teacher.

We have been renting our home out for several years now over big CU events and school vacations, clear everything out fully, have separate guest specific bedding, towels, robes, bath and kitchen staples and supplies. We are avail 24/7 during rental. All 5 star reviews over 4 plus years of renting our home out, (aside from 1 awful renter experience).

Super well equipped house in a great neighborhood for a friends getaway weekend. Near enough to central Boulder, without having to be right in it. Nice yard, hot tub, and the downstairs projector room was great for hanging out.

Amazing Stay

We had a great experience. The house is well stocked, clean and the backyard is perfect. The walk to grocery and restaurants is easy and the short drive to CU campus is perfect. We will definitely be back next time we are visiting our daughter at CU.

Great Place for Guys Football Weekend

Our group of 6 had an excellent time on our 2 night stay. Mark was extremely organized and communicated clearly well in advance. The property was as advertised with plenty of beds, a great media room, large kitchen, and hot tub. I'd highly recommend this property to others looking to visit Boulder, especially if attending a CU football game.

Wonderful House in Boulder

Perfect space for our extended family of 6 adults and one preteen, part of a family reunion group in Boulder. The backyard is lovely, the bedrooms spacious, and the theater room quite popular. The kitchen is large & well stocked. Lots of attention to detail for guests throughout the house. Owner is very responsive and cordial! Location was perfect - a great experience for us all!

Nice Home

The home was nice and spacious but there are only 3 showers not 4 as listed. We did experience several issues with HVAC and leaks with one of the showers and toilets. The owner communicated well and did work quickly to get someone out to fix the issues and when they couldn’t be fixed right away he found a temporary fix to our issues.

We have never had issues come up while renters have been in before and do our best to ensure nothing does come up. We were horrified they did and worked very hard to remedy and rectify asap. The air conditioning was working the days before, and has never gone down before. As soon as we were notified, we jumped into action, got window units in temporarily and got an hvac repair out that day, (despite most hvac companies being at least a full week out). Had it repaired within 24 hours. Then told that night of a dripping from the ceiling - which has also never happened before - from a worn cartridge in the shower - and we had that repaired fully by the next morning. Refunded a significant amount per discussion, and agreed to let softball team come over the next day for July 4th gathering. Unfortunately, this led to a backup of a toilet, that was then plunged and that resolved the issue. We do our absolute best to ensure every guest staying at our home feels it is one of their best Vrbo experiences. We were in constant communication, refunded money, offered future discount, and will continue to strive for optimal experiences.

Holiday retreat

Great house. Great host. My family and I spent thanksgiving in Boulder and couldn’t have loved it more. While the home wasn’t right in town, it was a quick drive and it a great neighborhood and close to some beautiful hiking trails. House was fully stocked and perfect layout, Thanks for sharing your home.

Great place in Boulder

This home was as described in the listing. There was plenty of room for our group to spread out throughout the house. The hot tub and outdoor seating were especially nice. The media room was perfect for the evenings to watch a show. Mark was very communicative before and during our trip - he left great information about the house and the surrounding area. We had a great time, strongly recommend a stay here!

Great place, great host.

This was a great place to combine work and relaxation. The basement is a great place to sit together and watch a movie or in our case a Zoom meeting. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals and having our coffee/tea, the host even left us a welcome basket with the basics. Sometimes, we ordered food and enjoyed this at the big table inside or outside (with a view of the mountains). The five bedrooms were all very comfortable and the new bathroom in the master bedroom has a really nice design. To end the evening, a dip in the hot tub under the stars with a nice cup of wine, was what we loved. Communicating with our host was really easy. I liked the way he was checking in to see if everything was ok. I, for sure, would recommend this place to a family or another group. Thanks Mark

We moved to Boulder from L.A. over 20 years ago now. Chris worked at Columbia/Sony, CAA, Chris Walken assistant, PA... switched gears to teaching. Mark is still writing - building and renting out this house supports it. Wrote and produced indie funded feature film, written many scripts since, was D.O.D. for Jon Landau.
We love to travel and adventure. We visit family and friends and travel much of the summer, and rent our home then and over big CU weekends, and now SUNDANCE to help fund our adventures, activities, and living in this place we love to call home.

We know what we appreciate in vacation home rentals and have made our home a home we would be thrilled to rent ourselves.
