Great house for gathering

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came to broadkill beach for the first time with another family, 5 children in total. The house was well stocked, had a good lay out for sleeping, adult hanging out and kid playing, it was easy to get to and from the beach. We all enjoyed trying out the kayaks and the weekend donuts at the broadkill store!

Quiet beach and a home with everything you need!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay here! Getting to the beach is very easy and walkable even with two toddlers, a baby, and an elderly dog. The beach itself was private so it was quiet and peaceful, during the weekdays we only saw a handful of others out on the beach. The home itself provided everything we needed from tents, umbrellas, beach toys, chairs... you name it, they had it! We would love to come back here again.

Perfect Getaway

The kitchen had every pot/pan/utensil you could imagine. The walk to the beach is quick. The neighborhood is so peaceful and the neighbors were friendly. We love that we could bring our dog. We would definitely come back again.

Great sleepy beach spot

We stayed at the house for a long weekend and had a great time. The kayaks were a big hit with the kids! The house was clean and a perfect rental.

July 4th wedding weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home itself was very charming. There are a lot of maintenance issues: Sliding door will not lock, keyless entry pad did not work(called after hours emergency # with no response) pot under sink to catch leak, mold on fridge water and ice dispenser, smoke detectors missing, screened in porch could use a good cleaning. Beach items broken or missing. Flat tires on bikes. Again, this property was lovely but needs some maintenance attention. Cleaning needs some improvement as well.

Providing a secure, comfortable, and well-maintained environment is our top priority, and it is clear we failed to deliver that for you. I apologize for the lack of response to your after-hours call, as that is a significant lapse in our service. I have personally alerted our maintenance team to the door locks, the plumbing leak, and the missing smoke detectors so that these items are rectified immediately. Additionally, I am working with our cleaning team to address the mold, the screened-in porch, and the overall standard of the home. Your feedback has alerted us to these problems, and we are working to ensure they do not happen again. I know we cannot change your recent experience, but I hope you will accept my sincere apologies for the stress this caused during your time in Lewes. Lewes Rental Team

Great Vacay

4th of July stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Broadkill Beach. The house was the perfect size for our group (8 adults) and just a short walk to a quiet beach and the general store. Beach chairs, umbrella, noodles, kayak, bikes are all available for use. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware and cooking necessities. The linen rental service was OK, and it's possible the comforters and bathmats are not washed between guests as they are not collected.

2023 Vacation Review of 1515 Pintail Lane

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd vacation in Broadkill. We love this property and have requested to stay again next year. Great location; quick walk to the beach; the property was clean and well-maintained; there's not a lot to do in Broadkill other than relax and that's the way we like it. Berkshire Hathaway was easy to work with and trustworthy.

Gret house with some draw backs.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house for the most part was great. It fit our group of nine pretty well. It was in a good location. Broadkill beach was in walking distance from the house. Take the left path (it has a wooden walkway and is shorter) not the right one (it was very hot sand and longer). Broadkill beach may be 20 or so minutes from the major commercial areas of Lewes but we liked the quite and lack of crowds at the beach. I did not like that they did not provide any linens we had to supply all the pillowcases, bed sheets, and towels. Of course you could rent them for a large amount of money but we just bought some on Amazon. I feel that is a basic necessity and should not be an additional expense. We also had to buy paper towels and toilet paper because that was not provided. Our toilet broke and they sent the plumber the same day and it was fixed which was nice. We also had a lot of Wi-Fi issues but were told that the owner was working on it. Other than the stuff listed above they have most of the stuff you need to make meals and enjoy the beach. Overall it was a pretty good experience but I do not think we will be staying there again.

Wonderful home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was wonderful. We were excited to find bikes and kayaks to use. We used the fire pit multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor decks. A unique beach experience because it was very isolated and we had the beach to ourselves. The waves were so gentle and we were able to walk so far out. The house had lots of extra supplies, like flour, marshmallow roasting sticks, etc. Which made our stay that much nicer. I highly recommend.
