Charming bay front house on private beach. Bright and clean two story house with an open floor plan and plenty of indoor/outdoor space to relax. Swim, fish, sail, kayak, and sunbath on your own sandy beach. Enjoy the 180 degree view of passing ships and dolphins from the fully enclosed sun room.

Located in the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge, this quiet community is away from the hustle and bustle of crowds and traffic. Enjoy the wildlife, star filled night sky, and wide open beach.

Only 2 1/2 hours from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC, and 20 - 30 minutes to the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, Cape Henlopen State Park, ocean beaches, historic Lewes, Outlet shopping, restaurants, and amusements.

Sleeps 6 (or more with owner approval and additional fee) people on three full beds and two futons.

One Pet allowed with additional cleaning fee. Additional pets may be allowed with owner approval and additional fee.

The home was very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The view of the bay was stunning, especially at sunrise. This home is a nature lovers dream. We saw so many different birds, as well as dolphins, foxes and horseshoe crabs, We hope to come back soon!

Idyllic beachfront property surrounded by a wildlife refuge. Incredibly peaceful and quiet. The property was just as described and the hosts were gracious and communicative. Highly recommend, would definitely stay there again.

Bathroom and bedrooms were small-ish, but very nicely finished. Well equipped main living area. But - let’s be honest - you book this place for the view. Incredible finished porch as a full additional room with an entire wall of windows facing the Delaware. Just beautiful!Location is pretty remote… but I enjoyed the remove. Automatically a slower pace. Be aware, though, that you’re about 20 minutes from every Wawa, Royal Farms, or Dunkin. (At least until the RF is finished in Milton.)

Wonderful property very well maintained and appointed. We had a couple of stormy days and could still relax watching the ocean from the enclosed back porch.Very comfortable beds, nice quiet neighborhood, well equipped kitchen. Such a treat to just walk out the door to the beach!

The Stove was unclean when we got there someone had let something boil over.The couches are very old and uncomfortable.The view was good. The shower upstairs was so small could not shave your legs in there. I showered downstairs painted cinderblock walls. There is water leaking on the floor my husband said he thought from air conditioner I used towels there to help gather the water .The rug close by was wet. the Air conditioner worker well we had 2 hot days.

Beach Relaxation

Very peaceful ride back to beach home. Check in was smooth and we wasted no time going to the beach which was easily accessible with a nice little path. The water, the sunrise, and quiet atmosphere was so relaxing. Folks in the community were so friendly.

Beach vacation

The house is in a perfect location for a beach vacation. It’s comfortable and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Mike and Laura are great hosts and very responsive. I would definitely recommend staying here!
