Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Edgewater Windward Bldg, Panama City Beach

The condo was perfect, our view was beautiful, check-in was flawless. There were some building maintenance and remodeling on the unit below ours that was annoying at times but understand the need to keep everything updated. We were there during a motorcycle rally 1 weekend and a golf cart rental weekend which made 2 of the 3 weekends we were there almost unbearable due to the road noise when trying to fall asleep. Other than that we had a really great time.

Hot Tub

Stay was nice however I was under the impression the hot tub was at my unit and it was at unit one and the Jets didn’t work well. It really was more like taking a hot bath.

A unit and view that will exceed all expectations!!!

Just spent the most fabulous week with my son over Spring Break. The unit & beach view exceeded every expectation. Spotlessly clean & beautifully decorated only enhanced by a view that was beyond perfection. No need to leave the Edgewater community unless you chose too! Multiple pools, food & beverage options right there. Cannot wait to rebook this exact location for our next visit!!!

Gorgeous views and relaxing time by all!

When we walked in the condo! The look of surprise and beauty of the ocean! Was priceless ! We were so excited to watch sunsets and sunrises on your own private baloney!! The access to the beach was a breeze! A short walk to any of the pools and restaurants! We also adventured over the bridge to shop and see what we could see! Just a short drive to restaurant, piers and shopping in either direction from the parking lots! We are planning our next stay as we are driving home !!

A short stay in PCB

The property met our needs very well. It was clean and everything worked. We needed a little help to find the building where the condo was located and how to use the gate code to get in the parking lot. Once we figured it out the parking was excellent. We will probably stay here again. The initial charge was listed as $75/night but by the time everybody got their cut it was over $200/night. Deceptive advertising.

Great place to stay but bring everything.

Loved the condo, the view and the proximity to the beach! Just a few things to know: there are no hangers and bring your own dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, garbage bags and Kleenex. The host does not provide enough for your stay. But to be fair, they did give us more when we asked (pointedly). Also there was a bit of a musty smell and don’t count on the grill listed in the amenities. And there was a required damage insurance that cost $30 more than what we had purchased on our own and there is a fee for using your credit card to pay. Beyond that, would we stay here again? Yes. We loved the condo and the wonderful view and the beach. Just understand what to expect.

Worst experience ever…BEWARE!!!!

Checked into the property at 5:30pm. The unit was very warm & thermostat read 75°, obviously AC wasn’t working. Upon inspection, the back patio door was slightly ajar, EXTREMELY hard to open therefore would not close nor would it lock so the unit is not secure. After reading other reviews, this issue has been brought up MULTIPLE times & had yet to be repaired. Kitchen was dirty & ants were all over the counter/sink/cabinets, ice maker didn’t work. There were lightbulbs out in the bathrooms & lamps, carpets are filthy & don’t even think about walking on the tile w/o shoes. Feet were black! I had received an email from the “property manager” stating if there were any issues at check in to let them know. First email re: no AC/issues was sent at 6:30pm, 2 more followed that same night w/o response. We had to go to local hardware store to purchase fans to try to sleep comfortably that night. Multiple emails were sent Sunday am finally w/ a response that afternoon that maintenance was notified & someone would be out. Sunday night still without AC, 76°, no response. Day 3, still no AC. Monday am I called the office only to be told maintenance was contacted but they blamed it on Edgewater saying no one was there to let maintenance on the roof. I completely understand AC units go out, problems do occur but not ONCE did the property mgr contact me to let me know anything. All he had to do was pick up the phone & communicate what was going on! I asked for the mgr’s name/number. Was told his name is Jay & he only has an email. I sent yet another email Monday am to Jay asking him for a phone call. He responded with the same stating “maintenance was notified but I can call you if you would like.” Hours later, he finally calls & no apologies, nothing is resolved. Maintenance finally shows up Monday afternoon, AC is finally fixed, no other issues were addressed. No follow up email/phone call from the manager. We dealt with the balcony door & ants the rest of the week. I did receive another email from Jay after we checked out asking how the rest of the week went & if we enjoyed our stay? I told him I felt compensation was appropriate & appreciated & he basically told me he would credit $300 (I paid $2k total) only if I didn’t put these things in the review. Basically bribery. THIS IS THE PROPERTY MANAGER! I’ve dealt with many & this has far been the worst! Very unprofessional & If I were the owner, I would find a new management company! RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Edgewater Condo's

The condo is beautiful! Very clean and beautifully decorated. We were there at the end of bike week and the beginning of the Triathalon. They can be very noisy times in Panama City Beach. The one thing that stood out in my mind was it as so quiet in the condo the entire time we were there. Hope to go back next year and hope to stay in the same condo again. Thanks to the owners for providing such a special place for a vacation.

Edgewater Stay

Over-all a nice place. The listing gave the impression that the large pool was closer to our building than it actually is. The unit needs a better equipped kitchen. No blanket for the pull out in the living room.
