Are you ready to get away? This is the optimal place to decompress. Our home is
a quiet sanctuary with modern amenities that maintains the rustic feel of a mountain cabin.
Located on 5 acres of pristine woodland, atop Navarro Ridge, just 3 miles from the coast. This magical property has accommodations to suit your needs. With four bedrooms, two decks, hot tub and ample common space you'll have plenty of room for the whole family, or all your friends.
The primary heating comes from two cozy wood stoves with complementary firewood provided. Electric heaters are also available, but during the cooler months of the year this house is best suited for guests who are comfortable using a fireplace.
CABIN (sleeps up to 8 guests). 4-bedroom / 2-bath
-Bedroom 1: 1 Queen bed.
Bedroom 2: 1 Full bed.
Bedroom 3: 1 Queen bed.
Bedroom 4: 1 Queen bed + Twin.
AMENITIES:
Hot tub, outdoor shower, outdoor firepit, newly remodeled bathrooms, access to our neighbor's organic farm. Get your produce straight from the garden and put it directly to your table.
OPTIONAL AMENITIES:
Catering: For a resort like experience BRT (a private chef and sommelier) will host you. This includes lodging, meals, and libations. Brandon makes CA cuisine inspired by fresh and local ingredients. Requests are welcome and encouraged! This hosted experience is $200/person/day with a 6-person minimum.
Massage: Let us connect you with local massage therapists to utilize our on-site massage table.

This was a delightful cozy cabin feel with a large spacious social space. We loved the full kitchen, comfy beds, and BEAUTIFUL surrounding. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful, unique house with an extremely well stocked kitchen! Hosts were prompt communicators, responsive, and helpful!Took off one star because the house had a strong mildew scent, which is common in the redwoods and was improved a lot by using the wood stove, but could be managed better by the property owners.

We do regular ozone treatments in the home to manage any scents that can come from other guests or just naturally occur in a house in the woods. Thank you for letting us know it's time for another treatment!

The house was absolutely beautiful and stunning! It was everything I could imagine and more. The host was amazing and could have not made the check-in and check-out process any easier. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely house in the woods
We had a fantastic time staying here. The house is spacious clean, and has lots of upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms. The redwood trees are absolutely stunning.

Cozy and secluded cabin! Eclectic style and art, loved the vibe! Host was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed our stay. Kids had a blast!

Excellent
Our family had an amazing week here. The house was well stocked and very comfortable for seven adults and a baby, and the location is secluded enough to be quiet and private but still 25 minutes from a grocery store. There's a great selection of board games and puzzles and a nice big dining room table to gather around too!

birthday and vacation

Like staying at the family cabin
Very clean, comfortable beds, lots of everything in the kitchen. The hot tub was greatly enjoyed too. It felt like visiting part of my family's home. Not too upscale and very well lived in. Easy drive to the beaches and Mendocino to check out art.

Roomy house in woods
Very comfortable for our group of 6. Big fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of sleeping space. Beautiful location with short ride to town or coast.

Amazing House in the Woods
The property is beautiful! The house is very secluded and the space inside is homey. Felt very comfortable and we had lots of fun playing games and enjoying each other's company.

Perfect Retreat in the Redwoods
This space had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with friends in Mendocino county. Rooms were comfortable and the home itself is well-equipped with anything you could need, from kitchen tools to heaters/firewood to board games. The views of the trees are stunning and the area is safe, quiet, and just far away enough to where you feel like you can truly disconnect but still a short drive from the main towns and attractions. Would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a spacious home to relax in and enjoy all that Mendocino county has to offer.

Great escape
Our group had a great time here! You’re definitely in the woods, with a bit of a drive to destinations in Anderson Valley, but not totally in the middle of nowhere and close to spots along the coast. The kitchen is well equipped and the outdoor spaces are great — especially if you have nice weather. The fast internet was a big plus, and communication was great.

Nostalgia Trip
The cabin was fine. There were a lot of cobwebs and unfortunately the carpet in the main downstairs smelled like urine, but for the price it worked really well for us. It was nice and cool and in a pretty area. Our host was great.

Relaxing getaway
Everything about this place was lovely! The house was clean and well-stocked with games, movies, and extra throw blankets. Despite it being January, the wood burning stove and the hot tub kept us warm, and setting up the projector for a movie night was so fun. The kitchen had all that we needed—we brought a paella pan with us only to discover that the house already had two! It was a private and tucked away spot, but still easy enough to get to the towns on the coast. We had such a nice time here :)

Spring brings colorful wildflowers, and summer is warm but gentle as the house sits just outside the edge of the fog zone. In fall and winter, it's prime country for mushroom-spotting!
