Cabin and property is very nice and I really liked that they had a hiking trail there on their property. Don’t take it for granted like I did thinking it was going to be an easy circle as there is some challenging terrain, but it was very well taken care of and marked. This cabin came stocked with very nice cookware and steak knives if you plan on grilling or cooking. I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it to others.

This adorable little cabin was just what my husband and I needed for a few days. It was VERY clean and well stocked! The hot tub was especially nice after long days hiking. It is a bit off the beaten path so prepare for that and the bed and pillows were just okay. Max was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again but would add an extra day!

Great location. The house was secluded but not far from all of the hikes and town. The host responded quickly to any questions I had. We had a great night hanging out by the bonfire.10/10The only thing to watch out for is if you are 6'6" like me........be careful walking to the bathroom at night. Stairs-2 My head-0

Lovely! Like a fairy tale cabin. Walking in the mossy glade around the cabin was dreamlike. I even saw a beautiful midas fly in the nearby woods like a good omen. This home away from home was phenomenal, unfussy but so darling sweet, clean, perfect, well appointed - I was surprised at the level of attention to detail- even stocked with things I worried I'd need- great cutting boards, a great set of sharp knives, pans, plates, mugs, flour and spices- including a really tasty pepper flakes blend, coffee filters and nice silicone utensils, too. And everything so tastefully done! We very much enjoyed our getaway stay. Host was very kind and responsive too! Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The property is beautiful, and having private walking trails right on-site was a huge highlight for us. After a day of exploring, coming back to relax by the fireplace was the perfect way to unwind. The atmosphere was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend for anyone needing a quiet getaway!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely perfect. It was peaceful, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The cozy interior and comfortable furnishings made it feel like a true retreat, and the surrounding nature provided the perfect escape from everyday life. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the quiet scenery around the fire pit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

This cabin was very clean and had everything we needed! The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. We will absolutely be back! I also really enjoyed the location and felt that it was fairly easy to access compared to cabins I’ve stayed at before. It felt private and right at home. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Everything about this cabin was perfect. So cozy and inviting. Had all the needed accessories. Path up could be troublesome in winter without AWD but so worth it.

We had the best time in this cozy little cabin. Perfect for 2. The setting was gorgeous and quiet. The host, Max, checked-in via Vrbo while we were there just making sure we had everything we needed (which we did). We were looking to get away and unwind, and that's exactly what we were able to do!

A quiet and secluded getaway

A nice long weekend for us together. The cabin is perfect and was just what we needed! Clean property, communicative owner. Some of the hot tub’s jets are not in working order, but it was hot outside so we weren’t in it for very long. The fire pit area was our favorite!

Everything We Could Have Hoped For

The cabin was immaculate, beautiful, quiet, peaceful and close to everywhere. After a long wonderful day of hiking the hot tub was so nice. The a/c kept us very comfortable. Max was quick to respond to a question and we will be back for sure! If you want a beautiful, cozy home away from home that makes you feel far from civilization yet close to everything you can not go wrong here.

Cozy and Quiet

My husband and I took a quickly planned, 3-day getaway to Hocking Hills. I found The Hideaway at Summit Haven and it looked to fulfill our needs. We were thrilled with the ease of booking, accessibility, cleanliness and practicality of this cabin. It offered everything we could possibly need and the location was perfect. Max was very accommodating and informative with instructions!

Weekend getaway

Cozy little cabin. Just the fit for an intimate couple or anyone who plans on being on the go more than in. Cozy fireplace, bed in the loft with a perfect skyline view to watch the stars at night, and a hot tub with a beautiful view of the back woods and path lite up with lights to an our side fire pit. In the middle of no where yet still close enough to town or park attractions. Perfect location!

Nearby Wedding /Second Honeymoon

We were looking for a place to stay as my son was having his wedding in ;Hocking Hills. Turns out his lodge was just down the trail / street!!! Max and team were great to coordinate with, easy arrangements and explanations. "Hideaway" was perfect for us. Well kept, spotless, stocked with the essentials. Enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Most excellent! 5 starts.
