One of four thoughtfully appointed historic casitas on the Stay Old Town Road property. Ideal for two couples, friends traveling together, or a small family who would appreciate the privacy and convenience of two bedrooms, each with its own attached bathroom.

We’ve set up the property so that guests can help themselves and feel like it’s a home away from home. But we are always just a message or call away if you need help with anything at all. You may spot us or a member of our team around the property during your stay. We won’t bother you with more than a friendly wave or a quick hello.

The BEST neighborhood to get a taste of Albuquerque food and culture- mostly within walking distance! It is a quiet, residential area that both visitors and locals love for the historic charm and convenient location.

The best thing about this stay is that it's in walking distance of so many great places- restaurants, shops, museums, and more. Plus, it's a 5 minute drive to the freeway- a day trip to Santa Fe is about an hour drive from the house.

The Homestead at Stay Old Town Road is among mine and my husband's best lodging experience to date, and we travel often! It was cute, comfy, cozy and in easy walking distance to old town Albuquerque and the museum. We would love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

We happen to visit during the heat of August and mosquito time. One of us got bit and the other didn’t so if you are concerned about mosquitoes, go ahead a different time. Otherwise, it was a very nice place to stay, and close to everything.

Old town trip

Stayed here to explore old town and go to a concert. Very nice location and property. We would stay there again.

Great Location

The rental was perfect ! We will stay here again next time we are in Albuquerque. The park across the street was perfect for the dogs.

Unique lodging!

Lodging in Old Town Albuquerque in a 100 year old adobe. It was clean, comfortable & well appointed AND they were able to preserve the charm!

We stayed a week at the Homestead and loved it. Here are some highlights: Clean, well supplied, well decorated, convenient location, bed comfort, pet friendly, equipped & supplied kitchen for cooking, games, quiet, dog park, easy & safe parking. Would love to stay there again.

Clean, safe, great parking, easy walk to old town plaza. This was our second time staying here and love the old world charm. We will always choose this when we are visiting Albuquerque.

An absolute treasure! This is a historic home and exactly as described, We appreciated the small touches; a drying rack for clothes, water filter pitcher in the refrigerator, ample dish ware and utensils! The layout affords privacy and comfort! We highly recommend this lodging!

Favorite ABQ place to stay

This is a return visit, and we brought friends this time. Current owners have kept the wonderful charm of this place, and even added a bit more functionality to this beautiful historic abobe. Owners are wonderful, and it's such a bonus this is pet-friendly!

Family time with lots to do!

Our first visit to Albuquerque and a family meet-up. Our casita was comfortable and charming. What fun to stay an an actual pice of the local history! Our hostess attended to details, making it easy to relax snd explore the historic area; easy walk to the Plaza, good food, shops, and wonderful museums.

Beautiful property on the edge of Old Town.

This is a beautifully renovated adobe, classical Albuquerque home located within easy walking distance of Old Town, Museums and great restaurants. For family or 2 couples it has 2 private bedrooms at the far ends of the home with very nice private baths.

New Mexico vacation

Definitely 5 stars on location alone. And definitely 5 stars on this house. It is so charming, clean, and has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. We loved sitting outside in the mornings. Highly recommend!
