Great communication by the host, and the location couldn’t be better. Plenty of room to park the truck and trailer, the snowmobile trail is easily accessible, and you can walk to the diner in the morning and the pub for dinner. The place was clean and had everything we needed!

Ideal location for a snowmobiling weekend. Reasonably priced, close to the trail and restaurants, plenty of room for my truck / trailer. Place was clean and beds were comfy.

Great place

Excellent place to stay. Right on the trail. Bar and Excellent food a block away in both directions. Perfect place for snowmobiling. Will stay again.

Snowmobile 2025 Round 2

2nd Time this year we've stayed. The apartment was clean, has great trail access, and communication with Vernon was excellent Hopefully good snow sticks around a while and we'll be back this winter.

First Snowmobile Trip of 2025

Our second time staying, snow was way better than 2024. Absolutely love the convenience of this place. It is right on the Bill Nichols Trail. The South Range Pub and the 1920 Tap & Grill are both just across the street for grog and grub after a day on the trails. The accomodations were clean and the owner was very responsive. We'll be coming back to stay for our next snowmobile trip.

exactly what I signed up for

The pictures and descriptions were accurate. Not a lot of counter space in the bathrooms but it was very convenient having a shower room and a toilet room be separate. It truly is RIGHT on the trail system and there is plenty of parking. Stayed here during a hot week and the air conditioning was great. Theres not a lot in south range but its an easy drive to Houghton which is exactly what we were looking for.

1st 2024 Snowmobile Trip of Season

This rental apartment was perfect. My college friend and I came up for our first snowmobile trip of the year This place is literally right on the atv/snowmobile trail. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property owner, Vernon, responded within minutes to all questions. And to make things even better the the South Range Pub (popular snowmobile hangout) and the 1902 Tap and Grill are basically across the street. Unfortunately packers lost but the South Range Pub was a great place to watch the game

Somewhat disappointed

Seemed to care less about outside appearance, weed it. Could use some finishing touches inside and clean floor better, a little floor polish.

Cozy stay

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for the 4 days we stayed there. The residents upstairs caused a lot of noise but was very quiet at night. It’s centrally located and close to Houghton and Hancock. Would recommend staying again. Thanks Vernon for answering all my questions!

Perfect location.

It was everything we expected and more! Renters got back to me at a very fast speed! Place looked nice and clean. Pics looked the exact same! Within walking distance from a lot of good food places and much more.

Quiet and clean stay

It's an old business that is refurbished into a studio style apartment, it was clean, quiet, comfortable. Everything I needed was stocked and Vern was very helpful. Can't beat this for the price!
