Our family of 11 were very fortunate to find this beautiful home available when the hurricane shifted our plans from Destin to Kiawah! The host was very accommodating by letting us check-in a bit earlier than usual and we had such a wonderful time! The house is so spacious with more than enough beds to suite every family member!Its location was perfect...an easy walk/bike ride to the beach and the golf course was literally in our backyard. We enjoyed watching the golfers and played the course once as well. We would have given this home a 5 out 5 rating, but we did have a few housekeeping issues. However, the host responded quickly and remained involved until the issues were resolved. We would highly recommend this home and would certainly return!

Great location next to bike paths, beach and golf course. The house was spacious enough for our group of 12 to stay and the kitchen was well equipped for the many meals we prepared.

Family / Friend Golf Trip

Great location on perfect beach & golf resort. House was easily able to accommodate all 17 of us. Kids had more fun at the pool than at the beach! Thoughtfulle, there were plenty of beach items for use in the garage.

Great setup and location

Stayed here on a golf trip with 7 of my members. House had an excellent setup for the 8 of us with more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Location was perfect and all amenities were as expected or better.

Great place to stay!

We had two foursomes of golfers each with our own bedrooms and lots of space to enjoy. We could have easily had 4 more guys and been very comfortable. Great central location. Host was very accommodating.

We loved this house, plenty of room for 3 families! Great location and close bike ride to the beach. Saw a family of deer one morning in our yard. The kitchen was very family friendly and well stocked for food prep. We were bummed at the pool- it’s not a traditional size pool to swim in and very small. The kids loved playing on the golf course behind the house and swinging the golf clubs. Overall a great stay!

Awesome home and view

This home is well constructed, great deck for viewing the sunset, stars and moon! The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The home was fully furnished with everything we needed. A waterfall is next to the property only feet away. Loved it so much we have booked our next stay.

Great stay

The house was great for a large family get together with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc. Communication was really good and check in/check out were a breeze! Wagon in the garage helped us haul all our things and small children to the beach. Totally a thumbs up!

Great for groups...

There were 16 of us here for a family wedding and the house worked out very well for all of us (ranging in ages 21-90). The location is terrific! We didn't really have time to use the small pool or beach toys, or grill outdoors, but it was a great home-base for us during our busy weekend. Thanks.

Great house with room for all!

If you've got a large group of family or friends, it's hard to beat this property in Kiawah! There were 18 of us and we still didn't use all the bedrooms. Quick 5-minute walk to the beach. Nice pool area. Kitchen nice and open, easy to cook for large groups. Loved it!

Classic Kiawah house!

Wonderful house. Spacious and very comfortable. The outside of the property needed some attention, lots of debris in the driveway but there was a blower available in the garage. Need to upgrade towels and pillows.

Great Experience on Golf Trip

We rented the property for a golf trip with 8 guys. The house was great. Plenty of rooms, bed’s and bathrooms. Listing was very accurate. House had everything we needed- from nice working grill, to fully stocked kitchen to a poker chip set. Access was easy, house is well located and the owner was prompt and a pleasure to deal with.

large family gathering

We had 16 extended family members (ages 1 - 70s) stay in this home, and it worked wonderfully for us! It's a short bike ride / walk from the beach in a beautiful neighborhood with easy access to Kiawah's great bike trail network. Having the pool and large living space for shared family time was great. I large wagon in the garage made it easy to shuttle beach gear to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property for a family

This house was great for our family with multiple bedroom configurations which worked well for our children and grandchildren. The kitchen was well equipped and the extra refrigerator very helpful. The grill worked well. The pool was fun when some kids were tired of the beach. The property manager was quick to address any issues.. We look forward to our next stay here.

Fantastic property and great host!

Scott’s house was perfect for a group of friends attending a wedding on the island. We booked more than a year in advance and Scott was extremely responsive and communicative throughout. We had a great stay at his property. It is in a central part of the island with quick access to the courses, the beaches, and Freshfields village. The home itself is quite large and spacious and was perfect for a group mixed with some couples and some singles. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Thanks Scott!

Great family gathering place

We had a mini family reunion at this house and we couldn’t have found a more perfect location! It was nestled on a beautiful golf course hole, but was an incredibly quick bike ride and walk to the beach. (Boardwalk 32). We also were able to bike over to The Nest bakery and market and the park with ease. It was a short bike ride to the tennis club for tennis and pickleball. It was in a great location. The amount of bedrooms and layout of the house worked perfectly for my family with 5 kids, my sister’s family with 4 kids, and my parents (15 total) to all meet up and enjoy a fun week together with beds to spare. There are plenty of bathrooms and showers for the size of the house as well. It is conveniently located near Charleston also, so we were able to get in and enjoy the city as well. The property owner was incredibly responsive and took amazing care of our group the whole time we were there! He gave great suggestions of places to book activities as well as restaurants, etc. Everything about this property was lovely! Thanks for the great home to enjoy all Kiawah has to offer.

Home was not totally clean. Pillows on beds were the cheapest you can buy. Home hadn’t been treated for bugs in awhile. We saw over 50 cockroaches while we were there lots and lots of millipedes. Couple towel bars were falling off wall. The pool was not cleaned or treated. So, we could not use it until the manager finally got a pool service out there. But, by then, there were only two days left in our trip and we stayed for a week. We were credited a rebate for the inconvenience but it was only $450. We paid $14,000 to stay there. Very frustrating. The pool was a big reason for selecting this home.

Khale, I am sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your stay. Especially in light of our constant communication during your time at the house, in addition to your seeming satisfaction upon checkout to our accommodations of your concerns. This is the first time I have heard from you about a cleanliness issue and we were communicating daily during your stay. This is also the first I've heard of concerns with the pillows. We stayed there 2 weeks prior and thought the bedding was superb. As discussed with you, a pest control company comes out every two weeks to proactively treat the home inside & out. And as you acknowledged, "It comes with the territory". Per our conversation, you stated the palmetto bugs were on the outside of the home, not the inside. The house is advertised as being in a coastal marshland in the low country of South Carolina. Palmetto bugs, millipedes, and spiders are common. In regards to the towel bars, wear & tear with a rental home is to be expected.. This has been repaired. The pool is cleaned and treated every week. When you brought up an issue with the pool, I contacted the pool company (which was closed for the day) and once notified, they came out the following day. Upon inspection, the pool pump was unfortunately broken but instead of turning it in to the warranty company and waiting a week or more for replacement, I had it replaced immediately and took the loss as I understand how important having a pool is. I also refunded $150 a day for the days without a pool. It appeared upon checkout that we had addressed everything and you were satisfied with the resolution. I am disappointed that instead of communicating dissatisfaction, you chose to leave a negative review.
