Location Location Location

This property is centrally located to just about everything especially the beach! We would definitely rent here again. The only thing that's a little hairy is the parking and once you figure it out-it's all good!

Wonderful property, great location!

Family time (including our dog) in a comfortable setting with an oversized deck and the beach just steps away, only need the car for arrival and departure.The property is exactly as described. We had a wonderful week!

Family memories

Such beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The deck had so much space to enjoy all the beachfront location had to offer. The house was nicely decorated and was very well stocked.

Fabulous Beachfront Home

This beachfront home has a fabulous location and awesome deck..just steps from the beach make it the best place on the island to rent. The owners are the nicest folks and they have really kept this house in perfect renting condition. If you are looking for a quiet roomy place to rent, this is your house.

Can’t recommend enough!!

Awesome stay here! The property is beautiful and the host provides everything you need for the beach. If it rains there are TVs and board games that will keep you occupied. Close to restaurants and businesses in OC. Will definitely be booking again in the future!

We are so grateful that the owner shared their beach house with us for Thanksgiving. Our family and dogs loved having direct access to the beach anytime day or night. It is a very special location and this beach house fulfilled all of our needs for a wonderful weekend. Thanks!

Beautiful property and location

We had a girls’ bridal weekend and the location right on the beach was amazing. The property is gorgeous(not shabby at all) and very comfy and the porch overlooking the beach dunes was exquisite. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfy. Parking was easy. Communication sometimes had delayed response times, including when we experienced a plumbing issue upon arrival , but our concerns were eventually fully addressed.

Great stay!

My husband, 3 kids and 2 dogs stayed here from June 26 through July 3rd 2021. We had a great time! The rooms are so spacious and the deck is incredible! The proximity to the beach can’t be beat. Michele was easy to contact and very responsive to my texts. Beds were very comfortable and the water pressure was great. Would definitely love to come back 🙂 Stacy Regan

Great 5 days!

Our family loved staying at Michele’s house. The deck is amazing and the home is so close to beach which made it easy for quick walks back and forth to the house. Great location! We brought our 13 year old Shih Tzu. He loved sitting with us on the deck! Thank you, Michele!

Location Can't be Beat

From the deck you walk directly onto the sand. The property is set up with two master bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms, which is nice when two families are traveling together. This was our second year renting this home, primarily because its location is incredible. When on the beach it is so nice to be able to run back 'home' to use the bathroom, make lunch, etc.

September in Ocean City 2023

We had a wonderful weeklong vacation on the beach at this rental. The rental was just as described. There was plenty of room to eat, sleep and play. The kitchen was well stocked and outfitted with quality dinnerware and equipment. The rooms were clean and spacious. Communication with the owners was exceptional and they were very gracious hosts. We look forward to staying at this location again next year.

Best Beach House EVER!!!

I've rented this beach house for the past 3 years and have seriously loved my stay every single time. I was here in April for a week and had the best time possible. It is a beautiful location right on the beach- my girlfriends and I are obsessed by the view and the entire home. It's a very comfortable stay with beautiful decoration, lovely deck and overall homey feeling. The owners are an ease to work with and never had an issue. I am definitely coming back next time around because it is my favorite place to stay in Ocean City.

Thanksgiving on the beach.

We had a great Thanksgiving at the beach. My family of 4 shared this with my sister’s family of 4 over Thanksgiving. It was great. Best part: everyone splayed out on the large cozy couches reading in front of the fireplace. Michele was a wonderful hostess. Great communication. Easy payment, check in and out. Thank you!

The beach was amazing

The house was everything listed. It was a small hike to the beach, but a beautiful location and so close to everything. Our 20 month old son had an amazing time & that’s all that mattered. The only downfall is the neighbors were incredibly rude. We will be renting elsewhere next year and only because it’s closer for family in the military otherwise this house would be a prespective.

Cozy and comfy!

We really enjoyed our mini getaway at Shabby Chic! Perfect location for a quiet vacation during the off season. The deck was amazing to sit outside and enjoy the sun, even though it was a touch chilly, it was still beautiful! Our dogs loved sunning and napping on the deck as well! We had a couple of minor issues, but the owner was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable, I slept like a baby. Actually, the whole house is comfortable... and cozy. We really enjoyed our vacation and cannot wait to go back!

Second year at Shabby Chic!

My family had a second wonderful wk in OC staying at the Shabby Chic house! Plenty of room for two yo granddaughter to run and play. Get parents brought their dog again who loves the deck! Neighbors were loud first weekend. Then many of them left do it was more peaceful. House in good repair. Well appointed. Michele and Jack are very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Can't wait for next year!!

The perfect location for a getaway

We have owned and rented in Ocean City for years, and you simply cannot beat this location. It is literally right on the beach, and it has its own private path down to the water. It is also a short walk to the playground, tennis, and lots of take out. The entire rental process was handled efficiently and professionally by the owners. We had no problems at all. The internet signal was very strong. The TV's all worked well and came well equipped, and all the kitchen appliances were working well. The bedrooms are large, and the open floorpan is perfect for family gathering time. An excellent week at the shore! Did I mention the location is excellent?

Cozy, winter beach getaway!

I hesitate to write such a glowing review of our NYE stay at Shabby Chic...only for fear someone else might steal our idea! We had a wonderful, cozy, beachfront getaway with my mom and our dog, complete with snow and fireworks on the boardwalk for New Year's Eve. Shabby Chic is a lovely, eclectic first floor home with an enormous beachfront deck and easy beach access steps away. The bedrooms were over-sized and very warm in the cold winter temperatures. The new "Nest" thermostat worked beautifully, and we enjoyed every night in the living room by the fire. The eat-in kitchen is well equipped, easily navigated, but could use a few more wine glasses! ;-) Being winter time, there were a few VERY MINOR glitches. Anything we couldn't figure out by reading the detailed household manual, the owners, Jack and Michele, were readily available and everything was solved quickly via text message. This home is ideal for multiple families as it is spacious, and very kid friendly. For the three of us, it was perfect for entertaining over the holiday, and quietly relaxing on our own. We highly recommend Shabby Chic!
