The absolute best part about this stay was the location. Easy walk to the beach and Harris Teeter right around the corner for things we needed. We were happy that there was a guard on the beach at our entrance. Only about half the guard stations are staffed in mid-August. The beach was not crowded at all, which was a treat for those of us used to mid-Atlantic beaches.Overall the house was clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed. The pool was clean and a lovely place to relax at the end of the day. A couple things to note. There were no linens for the pull out sofa on the first floor, so if you are planning on using it, make sure you ask for them. The main gripe we had was that the dining table only had 6 chairs even though the house sleeps 8 and there was enough room for 8 chairs. We were 7 and ended up hauling up an Adirondack chair from downstairs, which was less than ideal. Having a couple folding chairs available would be great. It was nice having the first floor area to watch TV and to have the second fridge and sink downstairs. We spent most of our time up on the third floor, but two areas is nice. Overall, we were pleased with the rental and the rental agency was responsive to questions. This isn’t the fanciest home, but it worked out great for us.

Our stay

We enjoyed our time here . We would recommend more trash cans . One outside by the pool would be nice . More silverware . Forks for sure . A clock there were none except on the microwave . The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed are week stay

OBX review

Pool and hot tun were great. Very clean. Nice space and close to beach access. Kitchen appliances and kitchen knives and pots and pans were all very outdated. All needs replacing. Other than that great stay.

Great Location

Place is definitely not in its best shape but a 4 min walk to the beach means you suck it up. Over the stove fan didnt work, dish washer door broken, chipped paint, stains, the 3rd deck rocks back and forth when you are on it

Only thing that is lacking is trash cans out by the pool and seating other than that excellent place would stay there 100 more times
