Wonderful place to relax and fish. We loved the home and all the amenities. The stairs down to the river were a little challenging but well worth going down to fish. Got in some much needed exercise .

Clean and well stocked home. Once you got down all the stairs to the dock (dock is wonky so be very careful) the view was spectacular. Loved all the seating choices outside. Highly recommend for a quiet and restful stay.

Nice property that was the perfect size for me and my husband and our dogs. The place was clean and had all basic amenities. The property is remote enough to feel private. The stairs to the lake are not for the weak.. there are a lot of stairs and will be challenging for those with physical challenges. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock. We also liked the dog friendly atmosphere with dog beds and feeding bowls. We enjoyed the area and all that Cadiz had to offer from the antique stores to the close by distilleries. We also enjoyed the Elk and Bison prairie.

Cozy Waterfront Home in Cadiz

My stay in this cozy waterfront home in Cadiz was nothing less than enjoyable. It was a very peaceful and relaxing trip. I will most definitely be booking this house again in the near future!!!

Nice place

House was immaculate but like the owners said it is a steep climb to the lake. Lake did have lots of flotsam.

Peaceful retreat

Very clean, nicely decorated. Quick response from owners when we had a couple of questions. If you want some time away from it all, this is a great place to get some quiet. No complaints!

Relaxation Station

Beautiful cozy in a peaceful setting yet close to conveniences. They thought of all needs and quality finishes and furniture down to dog beds and dog bowls. We're buying the rug from the living room so cozy. They were quickly responsive to our questions. Will definitely visit again

Relaxing and quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything is updated and very clean. Had everything you could possibly need. Really enjoyed the deck in the mornings and watching the wild life by the lake. Very quiet and private. The king size bed is very comfortable. Even caters to our four legged friends. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Cozy!

Absolutely loved the house! Super cozy, clean and beautiful. Easy to find. The stairs were a little steep to the water but still did them a few times. Nice to have the landing to rest. Beautiful settings. Host is great friendly and very responsive! Absolutely recommend!

Greatest place to relax

The house was amazing. Me and my wife our son and his friend has a blast. The house was clean, the location was privafe, and the fishing was fantastic. It had a great porch to hangout on a great dock to put a small boat or kayaks. Inside was very spaceous. The bed was so comfy. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to cook anything. Very cool place and for us not very far. I will definitely be looking to stay there again. The stairs werent that bad and if anything just got me in better shape. It was just a gorgeous property

We’re already looking forward to next time!

This house and property were exactly as we expected, based on the listing. We had total privacy, which is what we were looking for - a weekend to completely unplug and relax. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. From the games to the cookware/dinnerware to the comfy furniture - we will be back. The deck was a perfect hangout spot and we look forward to coming back when the railing is in place to get to the dock. Perfect relaxation station!

Get away

The house excellent. I wish the yard had been mowed. Steps are not for older people lol. Loved the dock and it was very peaceful and quiet. Would love to stay again but those steps and we are not getting any younger lol. #SORE LEGS

Thank you for the kind review. The lawn care service was scheduled to mow on Wednesday before your arrival but with all the rain he couldn't mow. It would have been a mud pit. I didn't want him to disturb you, so he rescheduled for today. As for the stairs down to the dock, all I can say is its way easier with the stairs then without them. Hope you caught some great fish to make the adventure down the stairs worth the sore legs. Thank again for staying with us. Scott and Dawn

Quiet get-a-way

Wow, what a beautiful place. It is truly no joke that it is a challenge to get to the dock, but well worth the hike. we loved sitting on the dock and watching the fish jump and the cranes hunt on the lake. All the wildlife to see was so fun. The host cut the grass the first day of our stay so the front green space was freshly mowed and easy to explore. The house was clean and was the first pet friendly rental that really felt pet friend. Although we bring everything our pup needs, (bed, dishes, toys, supplies) the host had a bed on both floors, dog dishes and even provided poop bags. This house has an open floor plan and is spacious. The second-floor loft bedroom was huge and stayed cool even though it was hot outside. We really enjoyed this property and hope to rent it again.

The door lock did not work

The door lock didn’t work (except the first time we went in). We were able to enter through the back door.. We called VRBO but. They couldn’t help us. They tried calling the owner, but, could not get ahold of her. It wasn’t until the next morning we heard from the owner.
