This pet friendly house has been completely redone and everything is bright, modern and brand new! You can sit on the deck and watch the sailboats or sit at the firepit and roast a hotdog with firewood provided! You are just minutes from beautiful Pere Marquette Beach! The house is fully stocked with everything you should need. Just bring clothes! Plenty of room to park your boat trailer!

The lower level of the house is like a separate living space with its own bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen and full living room. It is perfect for two families traveling together or one big family that wants space. You can't go wrong.

Beach Getaway

Lovely house in a perfect location for our family trip to the beach! House was clean and very well-stocked and very comfortable, and a quick 5 minute drive to a wonderful beach! Very pet-friendly as well.

Gathering before my daughters wedding

Beautiful home, ALL THE AMENITIES. Puts the other places Ive been to, to shame! Plenty of room, close to Lake Michigan- no need to bring all your stuff from home- this place has it all for you!

Wonderful vacation house

This house was perfect for our 2024 family vacation! Great location, tons of space, fully stocked and everything you could ever need for a fun day at the beach. The kids loved having an ice cream shoppe just around the corner too. 😊 So much fun!

Wonderful Accommodations

The property was clean and spacious. Other than the signage about pets, there was no evidence (smells, or hair) that pets were past guests. We took a gamble because two in my party are allergic to dogs, and both did just fine while taking their normal allergy medication. Overall, it was a great stay.

Wonderful Home

We came into town for a beer festival, and we had 8 adults (3 couples) staying in total. We were amazed at the space, its cleanliness and its size. Melinda was very communicative and the perfect host! We will definitely stay here the next time!

Relaxing weekend

We were in town for our nieces college graduation. We picked the perfect place to stay. Exceptional clean, kitchen had everything needed. Beds were very comfortable, linens & towels were fresh. Of course loved the fenced in backyard for our dogs & grandchildren. Walked 10 minutes to enjoy some ice cream. Hope to be back to vist the beach/water. Thank you for sharing your home

Great House with all the Amenities

We had a great stay. Everything in the house was brand new, and the owner thought of everything anyone could possibly need for their stay. Tons of dishes, cooking utensils, and bar accessories. The back deck with the tables was nice, and our dogs loved running around in the backyard. We'd love to stay again. Thank you!

Ideal Location!

Lovely home and comfortable home with everything you need for a family vacation! We spend most of our time boating/swimming/fishing on Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan. Very close to both! Melinda is a fantastic host who communicates very promptly to any issues or questions that arose. We certainly recommend her home for others!

Perfect

This cabin was perfect! This was the first time my entire family (including 2 four legged babies) had a vacation together! The cabin was big enough and so spacious that we weren’t on top of each other. The owner thought of everything! From the pooper scooper to the playpen. It was truly amazing. It is also close enough to the beaches and town that it is the perfect location! We will definitely be back! Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just bring your clothes!

This does reflect how well this property is equipped. The house is wonderful with a great view of Muskegon Lake. If you bring a bike, then the paths are convenient to downtown and the beach. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay and were well behaved at the Nautidog. It was a rare treat that they actually slept in for a change. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect for families

"Off the main drag" location good for sleeping, but walkable for ice cream. We loved the beach and all the beach equipment stored in garage. House had everything. THANK YOU! Hope we can return to this property in 2025 -- our next family gathering. First time ever that EVERYONE wants to return to a particular VRBO. Best ever!

Like being at home

This is a beautiful home and has just about everything you could imagine you’d need. They have gone above and beyond to make it have the comforts of home. Only negative comment I have is, they expect a lot of cleanup considering there is a decent cleaning fee. I had to leave at 4:00am for my flight home and a lot of it has to be done the morning you check out so it was quite an inconvenience especially considering the charge for cleaning. Otherwise the place is AMAZING and forth the inconvenience.

Great property to share with family

The home was clean and beautiful upon arrival. My husband and I were there with 2 other family groups. The basement worked out well for a nephew and his wife and teenager. We had 4 adults and a pre-teen in the rooms upstairs. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked. There was plenty of beach towels for everyone. The cornhole game was a plus, and family members played several times. It was a great pet friendly property. Having the fenced in backyard and patio was really helpful. The deck and backyard with firepit were well used by all. The beach supplies in the garage were awesome and very helpful! The property is a short drive to the beach. It's easy to walk to businesses in Lakeside. Communication with the host was easy. When some water backed up in the laundry room floor drain after a rainstorm, I received texts and a phone call promptly. We had full use of all plumbing after the water subsided several hours later.

Family trip to Muskegon!

Wow - Our stay was amazing beyond words! Myself, my husband, my 3 year old daughter, my mom, my brother, my brother in law, my grandmother & her fur baby Charlie, all stayed at Melinda’s home together. As we first entered the home, we were in awe! We couldn’t believe how clean the home was and all of us absolutely admired the decor. The home was so cozy and welcoming. Melinda has accommodations for everyone - even the fur babies and little ones! We absolutely loved the playroom/game room in the basement. My toddler had to try out every toy. I also loved all of the decor around the home, showing Melinda’s love for fur babies. She even supplied a cage and food/water dishes! I couldn’t get over the adorable toddler bed either. The location was perfect, it took us barely 5 minutes to go over to the beach and lighthouse. We also went over to Grand Haven in the evening to eat pizza and watch the musical fountain - that was only a 20 minute commute! The view of the water from the home is beautiful as well. On our day of check out, we ran into a medical emergency with my grandmother who is diabetic. We contacted Melinda in panic because we knew we wouldn’t be able to check out in time, due to how ill my grandma was. Melinda was so understanding and accommodating - she told us she would reschedule the cleaning crew and to take as much time as we need. So not only was the home amazing, but Melinda is an outstanding host! We definitely hope to return. Thank you again, Melinda! :)
