Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Check in was flawless, and the property was very nice. Views of White Lake were great, and the little beach area was unexpected.

Kim and Stuart have done an amazing job rehabbing this beautiful lake cottage! It has a homey feeling that takes you back to a simpler time with all of the modern amenities. The three seasons room is the perfect place whether you’re dining, puzzling, playing games or just relaxing. The deck overlooking the lake is a such a peaceful location and the wildlife sightings abound - hummingbirds, squirrels, chipmunks, deer, hawks and even a bald eagle! Our dogs loved the property as well! Thanks for sharing your family’s slice of paradise!

This was the cutest cottage! It was sparkling clean and stocked with everything one could need (tons of pots and pans, spices, bug spray, you name it...). The sun porch with a view of the lake was wonderful at all times of day; we turned off the AC and let the breezes blow through all day. There are about 50 steps down to the lake, but it wasn't a problem. The fire pit was great, with wood provided. The hosts were responsive and helpful, and the home is just cozy and welcoming. Oh and hummingbirds at the window all day!! We just might return next summer! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful Lake House

We had a pleasant stay for Electric Forest, the house is beautiful and the host was accommodating. Thankful for a wonderful experience and would definitely book this stay again.

This cottage was simply amazing. Upon arriving there was a gift basket of goodies with a handwritten card welcoming us to the home! It’s a long time family owned cottage, with cute photos and memorabilia throughout. The large sunroom overlooking the lake was beautiful. The property is huge but very private. Inside there is plenty of space for family dining and relaxing. Two of the bedrooms have great views of the lake, while the third was very quiet with corner views of the lawn and trees. The beds were very comfortable and the entire cottage was sparkling clean (this was a 5 star rating from me-I’m very particular!). The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with anything you may need. There are a few steps down to White Lake with a great stretch of sandy beach, paddle boards and kayaks available to use. The location is located close to town for groceries and restaurants, with a “secret” Lake Michigan beach just a couple miles away. Also, there is a two stall garage stocked with a ton of outdoor games. Our host Stuart communicated with us very well. We are already planning to book again for next summer!

Our stay at Kim and Stuart’s cottage was outstanding. Neat, clean, stocked with anything you could possibly need. Kitchen was great, the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The lake-side 3-season room was the star, and where we spent most of our time. We loved our stay!
